Family-friendly vacation rentals in South Geelong

This house far surpassed our expectations and was perfect for our family. There was heaps of room for us all and plenty of spaces you could seperate and retreat to if you wanted some space. The house was so generously stocked too which was such a nice surprise. Beds, couches everything were super comfy and inviting, appliances were all modern and easy to use. Overall we were all so impressed with the house and Maureen and have absolutely nothing negative to say. We will definitely be staying here again and highly recommend to large family’s.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Sea Salt BNB! The cozy atmosphere made us feel right at home. Our hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect getaway. The location was ideal for exploring the nearby beach and local attractions. We especially loved the charming decor and the little touches that made our stay extra special. We can’t wait to return for another relaxing escape!

My puppy lab and I had the most beautiful relaxing stay at the Love Shack. Highlights for me (and Benji) were the horses right outside the window and the lake being a 2 min walk where Benji practiced his swimming. I only wish I had time for a trail riding session. Thanks Deb for a lovely stay

Marisa was really helpful and.easy to deal with. the house was perfect for two families, with enough space for.kids and adults alike. it's hard to tell from the pics but it's bigger than we had imagined! definitely recommend for families looking for an affordable summer spot on the peninsula that makes you feel at home :)

Perfect holiday house for our family,seperate bungalow out back worked well for us and secure yard for our dog,but would work well for little kids. Great location adjacent too east facing beach and 5 minute walk to shop for papers and coffee.Short scenic drive for anything else or take the bus.Plenty of food options close by and good walking track next to beach. Wifi and phone service is good.

Have stayed with Simon a couple of times now. Always homely and comfortable. This was a great family base to enjoy the area and the QMF. And our dog *loved* having the space to go for a run and chase his ball in the yard :)

Lovely, secluded getaway within arms reach of activities and beach views! Loved meeting Helen and her dog Jack! Bed was a bit too firm for me but may suit others. Loved the extra amenities provided (toiletries/tea bags and breakfast food). Thanks again Helen!

We had a fantastic time at Sandy and Clive’s place. The accommodation was spacious, well-equipped, and made us feel right at home. The location was perfect—close to shops and the beach. Sandy and Clive were kind and respectful hosts, and we especially enjoyed using the vibrosaun on the property, which left my wife and me feeling refreshed and reenergized. This was our first big family holiday, and the kids absolutely loved it. We’re already looking forward to visiting again one day!

Chris has created a wonderful house full of comfort and great amenities. You are well looked after during your time there and her house is perfectly set up for your dog. Chris has allowed for multiple people to stay at the venue with 3 spacious cozy bedrooms with great lighting. Something you don’t always get with airbnb’s is the ability to open up the house/windows and let fresh air in which is something that was well thought of in the planning. Chris has been incredibly thoughtful and thorough while looking after us on our stay and we appreciate her opening up her house to us.

Our family had a wonderful weeks stay at Stewart and Julie's bungalow. The private use of the pool and tennis court while we were there was wonderful. The area was very quiet which made relaxing easy. Easy access by car and very close to the main shops and beaches. Stewart was very knowledgeable about the area and always a pleasure to chat with. Thank you for allowing us the use your beautiful facilities.

This property offers privacy, comfort and facilities to walk straight in and enjoy the space. The furnishings are comfortable and clean - the outdoor spaces allow for relaxation by the pool, or watching the abundant bird life in the large back garden. The fence is very secure so those travelling with dogs it is easy to let them wander without worry of getting out. The pool was warm and a wonderful way to cool off after a day out exploring the surrounding areas. The bed we slept in was very comfortable and for those who rise with the sun - the natural light in the property brings you beautifully into the day. After a massive year of heartache, pressure and long distance travel - this was a wonderful way to de-stress, reboot and spring back to the joy of the holiday season. Definitely worth another visit while the weather is hot and the pool warm.

Terry was an excellent host and this is such a great place down the coast for some time with family. Our little ones loved swimming and seeing the animals. Beds were comfy and the cottage was large. We will be back! Thanks again Terry!

Fantastic stay for a quiet relaxing weekend with the family. Communication from host was first rate and extended to the offer of an early check in and late check out without having to ask! This may the stay even more appealing! House is amazing - spacious and clean with everything you could possibly need - comprehensive instructions on how to use everything which refreshingly made total sense and were easy to follow! The photos certainly do not lie! Swimming pool and theatre room were great and well utilised by the children, whilst the adults were able to kick back and relax. Extremely close to the beach, Rye and Blairgowrie shops - nothing was more than a five minute drive. Would highly recommend this accommodation! Rates as one of the best Airbnb's we have stayed in and would certainly return in a heart beat for another stay!

An incredible property with so much to offer! The beautiful pool and spa are perfect for relaxation, and the expansive tennis court is a fantastic addition. Ben provided outstanding communication, always available whenever we needed anything. The host also generously allowed us a late check-out, giving us the opportunity to explore the stunning, secluded beach just behind the house. It was the perfect private escape.

In addition to it being a stunning property inside and the surrounding grounds of the property, every aspect of the house was well thought out including the cleanliness- kudos to the cleaners. Good facilities, kitchen was well stocked with essentials, perfect layout for our group with plenty of space to spread out and also gather. Can’t fault the place! Our host Tamara was amazing in helping us prepare for our stay and making it a memorable one. We only wished we had stayed longer! We will absolutely be staying here again.

Belinda was a very gracious host, she made herself available to be contacted at any time and left clear and easy to follow instructions. The house was perfect for our large group and we all felt right at home.
