Apartment vacation rentals in South End, Halifax

Umer was a great host from beginning to end, answered any questions I had very quickly. I was there to be close to the hospital and it was the perfect spot. There were a couple of storms while I was there and the deck and driveway were quickly cleared and salted. There is a Starbucks and Tim Hortons short walk away and it is convenient to have Circle K seconds away. The parking was easy and nice to have in Halifax. Place was private and a quiet neighbourhood. It was an excellent value and I would stay there again.

We stayed here for 6 months while in Halifax. Location is fantastic. 15 minutes to downtown and airport. Everything you could need and want within a 5 minute drive and close to the highway. Alex was a fantastic host and always responded to us in a quick manner. When we had a power outage they were quick to turn up and even brought water supplies. Every time there was a snow storm they were there within hours to clear the snow.! Excellent host, excellent locations would recommend!

Great communication, great host!

I had such a wonderful stay! The place was very clean, the bed was super comfortable, the neighborhood felt very safe and quiet, and I even saw deer in the backyard! The hosts were both very nice and responsive. When there was a small issue, they came right away to check it out and had excellent communication to make sure I had a great stay. I mostly interacted with Ami, who is so sweet, kind, and friendly. It's about 20-30 mins to drive to downtown Halifax, but there are a ton of shopping plazas and restaurants nearby too. I had a delicious gluten-free pizza close by at Martha's and I'm going to try some of the other places next time I'm in town! I really enjoyed my stay and highly recommend this apartment!

Bruce was the perfect hostess and very accommodating. Him and his wife even invited us to join them for Christmas dinner. The accommodations were very clean and inviting. It was beautiful decorated with some Christmas decorations. The shower head was the best I have had. I need to ask Bruce what kind it is. We were able to check in early and check out at our leisure. I will definitely be staying again if need be

Great location for our stay. Apartment was clean and spacious with most comfortable beds. Jin was easy to contact and responded to requests quickly. The lake was a bonus with dock for swimming and plenty of outside seating. We would definitely recommend for an enjoyable stay in Dartmouth!

Kathy was a great host. Had all that we required. Was quick to respond if needed anything. Very considerate host. This is a lovely apartment, big sunny terrace included, at walking distance from plenty of bars, restaurants and stores in the Quinpool district, and only 20 to 30 minutes away from Citadel Hill and the waterfront downtown. It's a beautiful, well-equipped place and Lindsay is the best host you can imagine - very responsive, very helpful!

Great little place to stay with our family. We were in to drop off our daughter at University. This place was nice and close, walkable to the harbour and lots of delicious restaurants. The place was well laid out, easily fit our family and nicely designed. The small sitting area outside was nice to be able to relax outside. Roman and Margaret were very nice and genuinely helpful. Really appreciate all of the extra details and added touches.

Great location close to all amenities downtown Halifax. Very clean , spacious, sleeps 9 people . Jay was easy to access and a pleasure to communicate with. Our experience was great will definitely return. Thanks Jay

Lovely little inn in Grand Pre. Easy to find, easy check in. Room had nice up to date furnishings. The restaurant Longfellow was excellent. Food and service outstanding. 1 minute away is lovely winery where we did tasting and following day we rode bike trail to Wolfville for lunch. Loved the area and our accommodations

We really enjoyed our stay at The Green Suite! You can tell that Gavin and Cartney take great pride in their suite and their guest’s experience there. The suite was as described and had a cozy, luxurious feel. We had everything we could need/want and more! The hot tub was a lovely added bonus as well as their adorable dog Mylo! The hosts are such lovely, friendly people and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there. We are looking forward to returning!

Great 4 night stay at Tee's, the place is as described and shown in the pictures, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Pride of ownership is clear. The place was spotless and located on a quiet street. Thanks for a great stay would definitely return.

We had a great time at this venue! Danielle was helpful and accommodating. The home was clean and nice. She sanded the driveway well to provide safety despite the recent ice storm! Great choice if you're looking for a serene get away with a very nice hot tub, without overly fancy vibe. Would return!

This was our second time staying at Jill & Steve's place, and it won't be our last! The space is immaculate and comfortable, with a well-stocked kitchen and plenty of living space. The river is beautiful, and the area is quiet. There were a couple of issues during this stay, one of which Jill & Steve warned us about ahead of time (and compensated us for generously), while the other wasn't able to be fixed during our stay, but will no doubt be resolved very quickly. Still, the stay was well worth it, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend this place, and I look forward to our next visit!
