Helena’s home is simply gorgeous. It is very well equipped with coffee machine, comfortable beds, washing machine ad many other thoughtful touches like fruit, drinks and candy. She also provide bikes for us to use and we cycled into Stockholm on the cycle paths one day (it took us around an hour). The surrounding area is great, forests and many playgrounds to explore; couldn’t have been more perfect for a young family. There is an excellent supermarket 10mins walk away and also a great shopping mall. My only (tiny) criticism is that because it is Helena’s home and clearly lived in when not an Airbnb it lacked storage space in the kitchen and also in the large bedroom. But nothing we couldn’t work round. Helena was so lovely to speak to and dealt with any questions very quickly - we leave Stockholm feeling like we’ve made a new friend!

We had a great week at Jan’s house. We were a family of four and some grandparents. It was an easy 10 min walk to station and shop for easy access to Stockholm and Uppsala. The kids loved the playground and the nearby lake! Thank you Jan!

The accommodation is in a great location , less than 5 minutes from the metro to the center of Stockholm in less than 15 minutes , in a peaceful and friendly neighborhood. We particularly appreciated the charm of the typical Swedish house which is also very well equipped. Perfect for a family with the garden and playground at the end of it . Jon is a very responsive and accommodating host, we highly recommend it .

Wonderful house in a beautiful peaceful location. The garden backs onto a forest which leads to a lovely lake perfect for Swimming. Only 10 mins walk to the metro station, really nice to come back to after a busy day in the city. Lena was very helpful with local recommendations and very quick to respond. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

What an amazing place. Siri and Per share their home with you. It’s perfect for children, as the house has toys, books, bunk beds. Although, it is very homely, the kitchen is high spec and spotless. It’s great to have a garden too - it’s a real home from home Despite being really close to Stockholm, staying in a beautiful woodland is magical. We travelled into Stockholm with a 5 year old, 3 year old and a baby every day of our stay and it was a very easy journey. We would have loved to stay longer and explored the local forest and lakes. Would definitely recommend

We visited Hannah's with our two teenage kids. This is a great home and she is an amazing host! Our experience in Hannah's home exceeded our expectations. This is not your typical air bnb apartment. This is a real home of a family, sparkling clean, fully practical, fully stocked with anything you might need. The description on the listing was very accurate, the host was always available for q&a’s, and we generally felt we were living in our home, not in a rental place. Even a rich breakfast was there for us when we arrived. We would give them 6 stars if we could! Thank you, Hannah and family for a wonderful vacation and for your generosity, your philoxenia, and for making us feel at home.

This Airbnb was probably the best out of the 40+ we've booked, but it was also the most expensive. 😅 We highly recommend it. It had everything we wanted: it was quiet, spacious, had a good kitchen for cooking, a good TV, and a big enough table to play our board games.

The house was perfect for our family of 5, in a great location, charming neighborhood, with everything we needed. Martin is an incredible host who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable and easy. We would love to stay again the next time we visit Stockholm.

My wife and I stayed a week in Andeas' home, and really hated to leave. Andreas was a super responsive and friendly host, and he met us at the house to give us a complete tour and information on how everything worked. The house is really clean and nicely decorated. It's a real home and very comfortable. We didn't use the sauna, but the shower next to it is really good. Bedrooms are on the top floor along with one bathroom. Ground floor has kitchen, dining and living room spaces. Bottom floor has a den, sauna/bath, and washer/dryer. Very nice layout. There's also a nice deck and backyard area as well. This is a super neighborhood: it's a short commute on public transport to downtown, and it's very green and peaceful. In short, this was a great place to stay and we'd love to return again in the future.

Annika is an amazing host. She helped me with so many things including lending me a charger for my phone....since I lost mine. The place is clean, cosey and a perfect place to feel right at home! I had such a good sleep and Annika prepared a yummy breakfast for me! Definitely order the breakfast when you stay! There is a beautiful forest and lake nearby that I soooooo enjoyed. It was a perfect place to stay for my last few days in Sweden.

We were very happy to stay at Johan's house in Tyresö. It is a very beautiful area and the beach is only 5 min walk from the house. It is also easy to get to Stockholm if you park the car in Tyresö Centrum and from there take the bus and metro. The house is modern. Lovely with 2 bathrooms and lovely with several terraces, so you can both get morning sun and evening sun. Johan was helpful and quick to answer questions.

We had a very nice time, everything as described, everything worked out, feeding the cat was a highlight for our daughter.

Super nice place, in a good location for the city center and friends arena. Annelie was very professional and was a great host with a welcome package that made it easy to be in the home and navigate Stockholm. Can definitely recommend the place the next time we go to Stockholm, it will hopefully also be where we live 🙌🏼

What a fantastic home. It’s really beautiful, and so peaceful here. Everything is so well done, and we felt very fortunate to be able to stay here, thank you to Julia and her family for allowing us to stay.

We spent 10 days at Linnea’s home and had a great holiday for our first trip to Sweden. Our two young children (3 1/2 and 9 months loved all the toys and the outdoor space at the house. The house itself was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. It’s located in a quiet neighbourhood near some small lakes and woodlands where you can go walking. There are also several supermarkets near by. We also visited some larger lakes where you could swim (Drevviken) and the beach at Årsta Harvsbad. The public transport links are good with several options (bus and train) for getting into Stockholm within 40-60 minutes and for getting round the local area. Communication with Linnea was easy and she was quick to respond to any questions. We were there for Midsummer and she recommended a local event nearby which was brilliant. We had a great stay and would recommend staying at Linnea

We stayed at Anna’s house for 2 weeks over a summer break and it was a wonderful experience. Anna made us feel very welcome, the communication was clear and it was easy to feel right at home. We loved the surrounding. Especially the little beach nearby but also the restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The house was great for kids (communal playground with a trampoline outside the door!) and a lovely yard where we spent most of the time. We would love to come back.

We had a great week at Michael’s, cooked a lot, even baked, the kitchen was very well stocked with implements. Loved the large TV and the beds were very comfortable. Washer/dryer a big boon. Would happily return again

Five stars for Anna and this beautiful house is not enough! The island is a natural haven and the views of the waterfront from the house are spectacular. Perfectly located within easy reach of downtown Stockholm by ferry or buses and at the heart of the natural beauty of the Stockholm Archipelago. The house is very well equipped, comfortable, tastefully decorated and practical for a great family holiday or a peaceful retreat. Anna could not have been more helpful, responding immediately to any request to make everything run smoothly. Thank you Anna and Thomas for a perfect holiday!

We stayed with our two children (2 and 6 years old) for a week in Sandra's house and felt very comfortable. It was especially nice that there is a playground directly in front of the house for the children and the forest begins behind the house! We had good weather and were outside a lot! The house was exactly as described - plenty of space for us and very well equipped. The bus also takes you to the city wonderfully. Communication with Sandra was smooth and very friendly. Thank you again for the wonderful time on Lidingö :)

This is one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in! The house is so spacious, clean, beautiful, in an excellent location - especially good with children! Emily is very kind and shared so many nice tips with us! We really enjoyed staying at her place and would love to come back in the future for continuing exploring Stockholm and its surroundings. I highly recommend it!
