A true gem of a location. We loved our stay and would definitely come back. Its the perfect place to relax and enjoy nature's beauty.

Very charming place with a great view. One of the 1st times I didn't wish for my own bed,; great mattress and pillows.

We took a small vacation with my sister’s family and we loved the location. Our kids enjoyed the small play area in the basement with the arcade machine and foosball table. We cooked every night and they had all useful appliances. We used the Ninja air fryer and Keurig machine every day. Since we went in January after a snowstorm the road was a little hazardous to use and the lake was completely frozen, so we spent most times indoors. We did enjoy going to the dock and looking at the frozen lake. This will be a great place to visit during the summer, they had Kayaks to use and a nice dock to jump from and fish. We would definitely come back.

The Thicket Point Fish Camp was the perfect place for a peaceful private getaway! It’s like home away from home with a modern costal design. The views are absolutely amazing. The kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms have everything you need. Matt was a great host and easy to communicate with!

Excellent home. Was attached to another dwelling but felt very private as no one was next door during our stay. Host was very accommodating, neighbors extremely friendly. Lots of dogs being walked in the surrounding area. Roads very safe to go for an extended walk. Winds coming off the water surprisingly strong at times; was impressed at how secure the house seemed during stormy winds. Best part of the stay was being right on the water of the river/bay.

Excellent location right on the Chesapeake Bay, and fantastic communication. Host always responded within an hour or even less, even a month ahead of our reservation. I echo all the other positive reviews for this property and how exactly it matches the photos. Couple things to note for future tenants 1. The two private piers/docks (shown in listing photos) beside this property are not accessible by guests. Those belong to other houses. 2. Running water has a yellow tinge. Host explained that it is due to mineral deposits in the entire neighborhood but it’s completely safe for drinking and other use. However, I have chronic GI problems and often get constipation from mineral rich water. So I bought cartons of drinking water from the nearby Food Lion.

It was a great location for our out of town family, here for Christmas. They felt right at home, I would book it again. You can enjoy walking around the canal, use the deck, and grill, all year round. Buckroe Beach is right down the road.

The house is comfortable and fully stocked with what we needed for an extended stay. The view of the Chesapeake Bay is breathtaking. Andrea was proactive checking in on us and responsive whenever I had a question. We LOVED our stay!

My daughter found this gem online to book for my 65th birthday and a family get-together on the Northern Neck. We stay in Airbnb homes quite frequently all over the world and this is the loveliest home we've had the good fortune to stay in. Christine is the most gracious host and this home is special because she has made it that way for her family. It's a huge difference to stay in a vacation home that the host rents and a home that the host lives in. Christine's eye for beauty is exquisite and the home is comfortable as well as beautiful. It seldom happens that you say, "I wish the house had (fill in the blank)" and this house has it. The river is a gorgeous backdrop and there are kayaks to use. The saltwater pool is a great addition and a reason to hang at the house. And there is everything one needs to knock out a meal or if you don't want to cook, plenty of places to eat in the area. All in all, this house is a 15 out of 10!!

Marvelous property! Our family had a fun and relaxing Thanksgiving at Oyster Shell Cottage. Plenty of room for our large gang in this spacious and immaculately appointed cottage. The fenced yard was perfect for our pup, and the screened porch was glorious. The kids enjoyed the dock and fire pit. All of the bedrooms were comfy and cozy. Of special note was the enormous shower in the master bedroom on the ground floor! The kitchen was fantastic and had everything we needed. Highly recommend Oyster Shell Cottage for your family’s vacation or get away!

The Clark Construction team enjoyed the offsite bonding, efficiency, and great Cape Charles fishery with local guide Clint Lessard on Sho-Nuf Charters. Great time all around and plenty of fish were caught. Hoping to return next year. The Coastal Soul AirBnB was immaculate. Perfect setup for multiple people, well appointed kitchen and seating areas, and great hosts. Thankful for all involved.

Blue Belle was a fun and roomy place to spend a long weekend with our family! It’s in a great area and was easy to get anywhere you wanted to go in Cape Charles. We rented a golf cart but it wasn’t in the best of shape. That’s not Doug’s fault but that of the rental company. Therefore, we didn’t really use it as much as we would have liked. Doug was prompt in getting the washing machine repaired and it was needed. Our granddaughters enjoyed playing the ring on a string game on the back porch and walk to the beach nearby. I recommend staying here!

Morgan’s place is beautifully peaceful. We arrived to a toasty (little heater) welcome inside with soft music playing in the background. Which was just what we needed considering we had driven in the cold rain to get there. If you’re looking for a place to unplug, unwind or regroup, this “lil camper that could” can do just that. The sunrises and sunsets next to the water were amazing. It was blustery cold one of the nights we stayed but we didn’t feel it a bit. There are plenty of nature trails within a short driving distance and plenty of beach to take quiet strolls by or just sit and drink your morning coffee. My guy who is over 6 ft tall and I, being close to it, were very comfortable as well as our full grown Great Dane. The wash room was only a couple of steps away. We didn’t use the stove but we brought up enough frig foods to sustain us for an extended weekend. All and all this lil camper was worth every penny and gave us some much needed relaxation.

Charming Cape Charles getaway! I was so happy to find this gem and even more thrilled when I arrived. From the beautiful landscape of the gated community, to the southern charm of this glorious suite…I wanted for nothing. This enormous suite has all the comforts of home and the location was spectacular. The property offered not only a private beach on the bay , a community pool, a beautiful well maintained golf course, it was also a short drive to the charming town of Cape Charles. Dawn offered endless advice to her favorite restaurants, activities to do and places to see while we visited. She was just a text or call away if I needed anything. Her hospitality was beyond measure. I look forward to coming back.

Space was great for our family and larger than depicted in photos. Access to the beach was easy and stunning.

We had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing stay. The house is beautiful, clean and makes you feel at home. The hosts are always friendly and helpful. I look forward to this as a birthday tradition all year. thank you for sharing your piece of paradise!

Had a great time at the Elderberries cottage! The views were spectacular, and you could take them in from the enclosed porch, the open deck, and even the living room. The entire setup was perfect for a vacation/remote work getaway, and the kitchen has everything you need. WiFi worked great, and the smart TV supported pretty much any streaming service you'd want. Rachel was friendly and super responsive; we hope to stay there again sometime.

To date we have stayed in 45 Airbnbs, and this was in the top 10 for cleanliness! Linda's place was immaculate and she thought of everything someone might need. There are clear instructions for everything in the house you might want to use. We were only there for one night, but I would have been happy to stay there longer. She has a great seating area set up in the backyard too. There is a closet filled with things for kids if you are traveling with little ones. She provides plenty of towels and wash rags, which you don't find in most places. I usually pack extra wash rags, since most places don't ever leave you enough. I don't have one complaint regarding Linda's place. I would definitely stay here again if we are in the area!

Lovely place! The kayaks and SUP were in great shape and we enjoyed time on the water. The kids set crab pots and fished.There was lots of space to eat meals together and to have quiet time alone. Pretty decor and beautiful views of the river. It was a short stay for us or we would have tried some of the restaurant recommendations.

Our stay at Kristy & Brian’s beautiful seaside home was nothing short of incredible. The home is impeccably appointed, situated in an extremely quiet & peaceful location directly on the ocean, with a clean & serene beach—perfect for enjoying even in winter weather. The outdoor swing provided a perfect spot for contemplative rest, while the digital game board was a fun touch for cozy evenings by the fireplace. Every detail was thoughtfully provided, from a fully stocked kitchen with a wide variety of accessories to amazingly comfortable beds—the best we’ve experienced in an Airbnb! The décor is stunning, creative, & uncluttered, creating a relaxing & inviting atmosphere. Kristy’s timely communication & caring approach made our experience seamless & truly special. This vacation was nourishing to our hearts, & we are forever grateful. Would book again in a heartbeat! Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us!

It’s hard to put into adequate words how lovely it was to stay at The Haven. The view was breathtaking and having a private beach to enjoy is wonderful. It was cold when we visited but I’d love to come back when the weather is warmer. The house is adorable, clean, and comfortable with nice areas to relax. Ashley is also very friendly and responsive. We can’t wait to come back!
