Vacation rentals in Šmartno ob Paki

We enjoyed the warm hospitality of our host. Our children felt very comfortable with the horses, dog and cat and loved being outdoors. Highly recommended for an easy going stay in the hills of Slovenia.

Lovely stay! Nika and Jan were very responsive to our messages and left us a lovely bottle of Slovenian wine!

We had 2 families (4 adults and 5 children) on the floor 6 days. It was an ideal base camp to go to visit Bled, walk through Triglav park or through Jezersco (less touristy but equally beautiful). As all the comments warn you have to get used to the ringing of the bells and the absence of blinds in the rooms but the beds are very comfortable, the apartment is very clean and well equipped and the hosts are friendly. We recommend it!

Martin and his wife Jasmin are absolutely great hosts. Easily accessible at any time, helpful and super friendly. We got a lot of helpful info about the area and there was a nice "homemade" guest gift for departure. We stayed in the area for a total of six days. The house is really wonderfully located, surrounded by beautiful nature surrounded by rolling hills and forests. We felt comfortable all around and will definitely come back because we really enjoyed it very much.

To be honest, if a car is driven by participants, I will 200% recommend Barbara’s house here. Rent is cheap and the location is quiet. You also entitle the whole building, except the garage space. Well it is okay to park the car outside and there is enough space for more cars. The complete apartment has clean and tidy conditions. We arrived at night and late for the announced time, but relative of Barbara accepted us in a very late night. I plan to propose my girlfriend here in Slovenia and I think lake bled is the best place I supposed. So I checked and indeed it will only take half an hour time from the apartment to lake, as well as the capital of Slovenia, Ljubljana, by cars. A slightly recommendation is that maybe a double bed quilt can be used for double rooms, but I will say not all participants required this, so it will be ok🤭 Anyway, 100% recommendations from me. Only a word: perfect

It felt like a piece of heaven. Not all houses were occupied at the time so it was very private and quiet.I loved the fact that we received our breakfast in a cute basket and were welcomed to eat fruit, veggies, and herbs straight from the garden. The house was tiny but clean and comfortable, the sauna was amazing, and the hot tub very romantic. Janez and staff were super awesome, friendly, and shared many tips with us on what is worth visiting. Our dog also enjoyed the premises :) Thanks so much for the hospitality! We would love to return for a longer stay soon! :)

Renovated apartment with all the comforts, the kitchen does not have all the accessories you need to use it as in your own home, but overall it is a beautiful apartment.. too bad for the complex in which it is located, quite dated and deserving of some measures such as making the wooden stairs that lead to the apartment (very shaky bad conditions), light in the hallway that leads to the apartment absent, in the evening it is dark and not really practicable. Tea is an active and available host for all needs. I recommend it for value for money.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay! The layout was cozy and comfortable, and the whirlpool was the highlight of our visit – perfect for unwinding. The space was clean, well-equipped, and beautifully maintained.

For us, it was a good place as a base for hiking in the Kamnicko-Sawiń Alps, Juliska Alps and Karawanskaya. The neighborhood is quiet, there is a river next to it, and there is also a highway entrance nearby. Even the watch is unnecessary, because the clock on the tower of the church breaks the hours.

Jani is a great host and the villa is really nice. We enjoyed the amazing view, the wood-burning stove and the bath-tub with whirlpool functionality. The sauna is indoor for two people. The area is beautiful and the view from the kitchen & terrace breathtaking. We have been over the weekend and I can really recommend this place for anyone looking for a great weekend with all ameneties. Thanks Jani

Wauwww wauwww wauwww It felt like coming home. Never before have we went back to the same location for a vacation, but last year we liked it so much. The same thing this year. Next year we want to come back. What peace and space in all simplicity and yet lacks nothing in the house! Perfect match for us and our dogs. The contact with Anita is perfect before, during and after our vacation, she is almost immediately ready to answer our questions. The cottage is incredibly clean and tidy. A gem in the mountains.
