Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Silves

We had a fantastic time, Meredith is a great host, that you for letting us stay in your fantastic house.

We loved the accommodation - the place was spotless, very big, exactly like the pictures, fantastic pools and great views. We loved that the villa felt like it had different areas to it so we weren't stuck in one place. All the main sites and towns in the Algarve are a short drive away as we had rented a car. Our family and friends also really enjoyed themselves and we would love to come back one day.

Family of 4 adults, 3 kids (7, 3, 1) stayed 6 nights in Aug 2024. Late check-in accommodated with clear instructions. Hosts did pre-arrival shopping - much appreciated. Great location: 5-min walk to town center (restaurants, grocery), overlooking Med with cool breezes. Next to popular beach parking lot (daytime campers). A/C worked well; ground floor cooler than upstairs. WiFi limited to 5 devices, didn't reach 2nd-floor bedrooms. Pros: Convenient location - Accommodating hosts - Beautiful views - Effective A/C Cons: - Limited WiFi coverage - Beach parking lot crowding and beachgoers parking in front of the property - Access to the beach is difficult for those with mobility issues (stairs and steep hill) Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. Ideal for families wanting a mix of beach and town accessibility. Recommend for groups comfortable with basic amenities and prioritizing location over luxury.

We had a great time at Maria’s place. The house is great for families (we stayed with two kids), the pool is a huge plus. We spend most of our time outdoors, the dinner area by the pool has a beautiful view. It felt very peaceful and private. As in most southern countries, you will hear dogs barking during the nights, but we weren’t bothered. The kitchen has all you need to prepare your meals. Every bedroom has a AC, which helped when it was really hot. You will need a car to get to places, but there are two restaurants that you can walk to if you are mobile. The house is on the hill with a pretty steep elevation, so people that with disabilities would have a hard time climbing that hill. Maria was very responsive and always helpful. We would love to come back next year.

It was a fabulous villa in a great location. The villa was even bigger than the photos suggested and it was spotless. Joao was a fantastic host, very quick to respond and even tried to advise us when we had a punctured tyre in our hired car. Highly recommended and if we return to Sagres we would love to stay there again.

The house is beautiful and has everything you need. We stayed in Sagres for a few days and were even able to work on site thanks to the good internet. In the neighborhood are a lot of beautiful beaches and small cafes. The supermarket is also not far away, so we were also able to do spontaneous shopping on foot. All in all, a very nice place to take a vacation (also for a longer period of time). The pomegranate tree in the garden has sweetened our breakfast every morning. Hopefully the apples will be ripe again on our next visit. 🥰

Great villa/cottage in a good location for local restaurants and beaches. Worked well for us - we (grandparents) had the upstairs en-suite where our daughter/ son-in-law had the two downstairs bedrooms. Nice garden space with decent sized pool - safe for toddler to walk around. Very modern amenities in the villa.

We had the most wonderful, relaxing time at Jane’s Boho Dream House. It’s set in the middle of an incredible natural with almost no neighbours around right next to Odeceixe river and Rota Vincentina. The walk to Odeceixe’s beautiful beach takes only about 15min. But you have to be aware that you will have to — being on the other side — walk through the river which might not be possible at all times of the day. We especially enjoyed the peacefulness of Jane’s place, the garden with hammocks and the sunny veranda in the front of the house. The interior is decorated with lots of love and gives you a cozy at home feeling. Jane was a very friendly host, the communication was easy and helpful at all times.

Small but essential and extremely clean apartment. It is located in a private vacation setting with night security. For us, a car was absolutely necessary to get around as there is no big deal in the surroundings. The only negative thing was not to find the double bed already ready as it is a sofa bed, in my note via message I was told that guests generally use it as a sofa during the day and only open it at night but I strongly doubt that.

We had an amazing stay! The place was fantastic, and the host was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to check in early and check out late. They were very responsive to all our questions. The location was perfect—within walking distance to everything including all the great restaurants. Highly recommend this place!

It was a pleasure to stay at Bento's place. The view is stunning, wide open with the sea far away on one side and the pool nearby on the other side. The balcony is a perfect place for a drink in the afternoon to enjoy the sunset. The apartment is quite comfortable, it is extremely well decorated and well equipped. Looking forward to my next stay in this beautiful apartment.

We had a great time at Claudia's apartement. It is very central, you can walk everywhere by foot and although the location is so central, it is really quiet. The bed was comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, very nice bathroom. Best thing was the hammock, that Claudia brought herself when we asked for it! It was a bit cold now end of October, there would have been a tranportable heating, but for us it was not necessary, we just would recommend bringing thick socks. We loved getting cakes and coffee at Abigail's Café and drinks at Peppers Bar. Thank you Claudia for hosting us! :)

Ferragudo is a great place to stay in the Algarve. It’s centrally located for visiting attractions and towns along the coast and is quiet while being close to Portimao. Tom’s apartment is excellent. It’s large, very comfortable, has a great kitchen and living area, comfortable bed and very good shower (always a plus!). Matthew and Tom were excellent communicators. They kept us fully informed and responded quickly to any questions. An excellent Airbnb if you’re looking to stay in the Algarve.

The apartment is very stylish and comfortable. We immediately felt at home. Everything was very clean. The two pools are big plus. We just loved it and will probably be back.

A cozy studio very conveniently located with the beach, boardwalk and grocery stores close by. But the most amazing aspect were the incredible sunrises over the sea. Spectacular! Safe, neat and well located: could not ask for any more. Thanks !!
