Beautifully clean, modern but cosy. Was the perfect location with just a very short drive to the prom with so many things to do and see. Perfect for what we needed!

The Christmas Welcome pack was Amazing and much appreciated Steve and Vicky also left some dog treats for our Dogs. They checked on us throughout our stay which was really thoughtful. We would love to return in the future.

We booked for a weekend stay. Very easy to find, as described, very comfortable and very clean. Walking distance to everything including train and bus station if not arriving by car. We would definitely look to stay here again. A lovely visit and a peaceful house to return to after a busy day. What more could you ask for ?

Stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful house, very warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean and tidy. We stayed during the storm but we will definitely come back in the summer as the garden is amazing. Mark was a brilliant host, kept in touch and very quick to answer any queries we had. I would recommend staying here lovely walk around the lake which is about a 5 minute walk away. No complaints whatsoever.

Fantastic place for a large group but still good value for just for two of us breaking up a long drive from Scotland as only 15min away from M6 Warm when we arrived. Able to chat to Marie about check in. Area is a bit run down but quiet and able to park outside house. Dog friendly, small concrete yard but grass areas are minutes walk away as is a delightful walk on the prom and a great fish n chip shop/ restaurant Fantastic Morcambe sunset and wonderful view of snow topped southern Lake District mountains

This is our second time staying at Lynda’s house. It’s a great base for us to visit family who are local. Can’t beat it for good value. Thanks again!

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

Me and my friends had a fantastic time in Windermere thanks to the location and space we had with Johns flat. We couldn't have asked for anything more to be honest, particularly considering the low price that was paid. Will definitely stay here again when we next come to visit!

Fountain Cottage is a wonderful base for a walking holiday in the Langdale valley. A beautiful, cosy and comfortable home with a really well equipped kitchen. We felt immediately at home, all the more so thanks to the fire already laid for us and ready to light when we arrived. The maps, walking routes and other information all helped us get the most from our stay and we made full use of the excellent leisure facilities at The Langdale. A perfect holiday. Well equipped static caravan, the site was very large, but nice and quiet as we went over Christmas. The central heating meant the caravan was lovely and warm. Sheets and towels all included, and our standard poodles loved their stay. We did see there appeared to be a wifi hub thingy, but no access to it - practically no phone signal so would have been great to be able to use the site wifi. It was very wet when we went so parked on the road way as otherwise it's grass parking area which would have got really muddy. Overall, a great place to stay, we may well come again!

I chose to stay at the log cabin for my boyfriend’s birthday. We both absolutely loved the whole weekend. The lodge was 100% worth the money. The decor in the lodge made you feel right at home. The on site bar and restaurant was lovely and a nice alternative if you didn’t fancy cooking. The on-site deer, peacocks and cats were a highlight of the trip for us. We loved being able to go on a walk and then get back to our lovely lodge and hottub. We will definitely be returning again.

Lovely place to stay and on a nice park. The lodge was very clean and had lots of lovely extras that made us feel right at home.

We love this place so much we've booked again for next Christmas. The lodge itself is equipped with more things than you have at home, it is very well appointed and you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. It is clean and beds very comfortable. The setting is beyond beautiful and we had a robin who called everyday, and a pair of deer who happily came into the bottom of the garden two of the days we were there. The Christmas decor made it extra Christmassy and my little boy soon made himself at home. With only a short walk away to Skelwith Bridge and the lovely Chesters by the River or a ten minute drive to Ambleside this is a perfect location for any couple or family wishing to relax. The owners had left us a bottle of prosecco upon arrival and gave clear and specific instructions of how to find the the lodge. A perfect retreat for a well earned relax. I'm so glad we found this little peace of heaven. Thank you Andy and Maggie.

Lisa’s caravan is the best we have stayed in! Got there late as travelling long distance place was warm which was a nice touch, easy to find even though dark due to clear instructions. Feels homely, lovely appliances and accessories couldn’t fault it, nice location and all round amazing stay even for just one night! Which is why we will be back in the summer so we can enjoy more of it and the surroundings! Thanks again the Pardoe’s

The four of us had a great weekend at Kate’s place and would recommend to anybody to visit. Kate is extremely friendly and responsive. She was quick to recommend things to do in the area and the added amenities on site were brilliant - we even got to feed her horses and alpacas! The lodge was beautiful and spotless. It was extremely cosy with the fire and the hot tub, with everything in brilliant working condition. Despite the lodge being on Kate’s land, we felt completely separate from the main house and even had our own driveway. Will definitely be visiting again and have already recommended to friends! Thank you Kate and family for a brilliant stay!

We had a lovely few days stay in the cottage, which was exceptionally comfortable and enjoyable. Lovely hill walking, and a nice gentle walk down to the river from the front door too.

We had a gorgeous stay in Lytham. The apartment is warm, beautifully finished and has everything you need. Amazing to be so close to the beach and the high street. It's also close to the station for easy transport links.

Great way to spend our NYE, the cottage was so peaceful and private. Great space for the dogs to run in the garden, weather weren't on our side but the house was fully equipped and had games too so that it didn't matter! Would definitely recommend and will definitely be looking to book again!

I booked this for my disabled brother, his disabled friend and a carer. Very modern with really comfortable beds and everything you need in the kitchen. Perfect location to visit all the amenities in Blackpool and far enough away to relax after a busy day sightseeing. They can’t wait to go back next year!

Fabulous place to relax and unwind. Amazing private hot tub. The cabin had everything we needed. It was clean and cosy. Great little touches such as bread, milk, coffee etc. We loved the log burner and we felt right at home.

Lovely, relaxing stay in beautiful surroundings - just what we needed! Accommodation was clean, modern and comfy - felt like a home from home. Location was perfect, only half hour drive into Windermere for a day out and nice and peaceful for relaxation at the lodge. All amenities catered for including gown and slippers for the hot tub and a complimentary bottle of fizz :-) A little gem I am so glad to have found!

The photos don’t do the cottage justice to be honest, it’s a very well provisioned little cottage and perfect for our night’s stopover. Well stocked kitchen, close to the shops, beautiful garden, and warm and cosy for our arrival despite our short notice booking! Our kids loved re-filling the bird feeders too, as an optional part of our checkout process.
