Vacation rentals in Silsoe

We stayed at honeypot cottage for New Year’s Eve. The cottage is super cute and is decorated beautifully. We appreciated the welcome biscuits! The village is very peaceful with great walks from the front door. We walked to the swan with two nicks and it was a lovely walk with great food at the end! We struggled to get and keep the cottage warm and there is no way we could have done it without the log burner so worth bearing in mind if you’re renting in the winter! It’s also worth noting for those bringing dogs that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage. You have to go through next doors courtyard which is easy enough, but just a bit of a pain if you have a dog like ours who refused to toilet in the courtyard 😅 Simon and Caroline responded quickly to our messages before our arrival but left thorough notes for us, so we didn’t have the need to contact them during our stay. I have no doubt that they would have been helpful!

Charmaine's place was exactly what we needed at the end of a hectic 3 week visit to the UK that included Christmas in London and a New Year wedding in Glasgow. We had previously lived in Woolstone for 8 years so we knew exactly what to expect as far as the general location and surroundings, including 2 good pubs and the Grand Union Canal within walking distance, but the property itself was very relaxing and peaceful, spotlessly clean and so well-equipped. A lovely home-away-from home!

Lovely homely cottage in a beautiful small town with plenty of places for food, coffee or drinks. Really well organised and equipped and the communication from the hosts was excellent. We will be back - thank you!

The loft is a lovely cosy spot. My friend and I were visiting the area for an event and The Loft was perfectly located for us. We visited the Fox and Hounds for a meal and had a very enjoyable evening. Good food and friendly service. Celine is a friendly and helpful host and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Ideal!!

Had an amazing stay at The Woodland Retreat. Peaceful, private, cosy, secluded and beautiful surroundings - just what we wanted. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

That was the 3rd time that we stayed at Jenny’s lovely, cozy annexe. Once again, everything was perfect. Jenny is very responsive and looking after the place and her guests like it was the first time. Can’t wait for the next one! Definitely recommend it.

Suzanne and Ian’s lovely property was ideal for an overnight stay for my adult son and I when we visited Woburn Safari Park. Very comfortable, extremely well equipped and newly refurbished to a high standard. Numerous thoughtful touches, excellent directions to the property and clear, helpful instructions on everything inside. Very generous complementary coffee and tea provisions and delicious brownies! A lovely apartment to stay in, there are great little touches that made the stay so nice and relaxing. The hot tub was great and felt very private. Steve was lovely, very helpful and friendly (and a very cute dog). A couple of nice pubs in easy walking distance and a train station in easy walking distances that gets you in to Oxford in about 35 mins.

Everything was private as we were the only couple at the time and we had great hosts, both Victoria and Dan were very helpful and were always ready to answer any questions. The Cabin was beautiful and there were lots to relax and do with the billiards room and the Swimmcenter. Which were easily accessible and to use both the Sauna and the hydropool were relaxing and extremely private.

booked this as a 50th birthday present for my partner. couldn't of asked for more. beautiful accomodation and Susan catered perfectly for us. was lovely to see the goats grazing next to us and private hot tub. was great all round. well done guys wish you the very best. will definitely return 🙏
