Fantastic property in a great location. We loved how private it felt whilst still only being a short hop to breath taking locations. The pool is outstanding and everything is clean and catered for. If you want to visit a beautiful place, receive a wonderful warm welcome and be sad to leave then this is the place for you!

A big thank you to Sylvette for hosting us and for her discretion. A peaceful place to gather in peace and quiet and enjoy the cottage and private pool! The location is perfect between Perigueux and Bergerac! Thanks again to Sylvette and I would fully recommend the cottage.

very nice house with high-end amenities. Play area, pool, jacuzzi and sauna are a real plus. We had a great time with the family. Very comfortable bedding.

This beautiful Gite was perfect for us. We loved the peaceful location, the well kept grounds and the beautiful pool area which we only sometimes shared with the 2 occupants of the smaller gite. Often, we had it to ourselves. Chris and Debbie were really lovely and helpful with lots of recommendations- from markets to local restaurants. They set up a private chat group when we arrived so they could be on call if required and pass on any useful information. Debbie arrived at our door one day as we headed out for a trip with a cool box, which was a lovely gesture . On another day, she arrived at the pool with a jug of chilled sangria. Their lovely friendliness contributed to our enjoyment of this property. As someone who is often a gourmet buffet for local insect life, the mosquito nets over the beds were very welcome. Our girls loved the grounds, including the swing next to the gite, although the pool made it for them. We would happily recommend it to everyone we know.

Accommodation in a very peaceful and quiet environment. The house has lots of charm, and the unoverlooked heated pool is lovely. The house was very clean as well as the linens. Self check-in and checkout, which went very well. If you have any questions, Emmanuel is very responsive. Only small downside, for a house intended for 6 people only 3 stem glasses and the space in the living room is not intended for 6 people. Otherwise the rest is perfect!

We had a great weekend in this beautiful cottage. Very welcoming and warm owners, available and responsive. Listing is as described and perfectly equipped for a large group! Nothing was missing! In summer, the pool must be a real plus, given the setting and the peaceful landscape where this cottage is located.

This was the perfect stay in the French countryside. With no light pollution, the stars were shining bright. The very well trained dog was such a joy to play fetch with. The kitchen was well equipped. The memory foam mattress on main floor was firm and comfortable. It was nice having our teen in a separate area upstairs. We didn’t use the third bedroom. I could have spent a lot more time at this B&B and would definitely visit again!

My husband and I spend a wonderful time at Iris place. It was a wonderful experience to enjoy this beautiful historic home to ourselves and specially the peace and tranquility, views and wonderful home that lend itself for entertainment. We cooked, we enjoyed the pool, we talked along the vines, visited wonderful chateau's and wonderful towns and restaurant with a short drive. We look forward to come back soon with our entire family!

We really enjoyed our stay. Marion was very helpful and friendly. Easy to communicate with. Really lovely house, lots of space & character, very well equipped, lots of garden space and pool area. The house is very private, close to town and a good sized super market with in walking distance, although would suggest a hire car for convenience and sight seeing etc. If pressed to make any negative comment, it would be that there is some road noise when outside, we live where there is none, so it was noticeable to us. It would not put us off returning.

Our weekend was great! Nelly is very nice, communication is very simple frankly it's very easy! The house was clean, true to the photos, nice, quiet… Perfect for my birthday weekend! The house was exactly what my group needed! The house was very cozy and comfortable with beautiful views. It offered communal areas for us to work/rest as a group as well as plenty of space to have time to ourselves. The village center was a very short walk away with a lot of wonderful restaurants to pick from. The house had fans in every bedroom which made it comfortable to sleep even with the first few days being on the warmer side. Christine was responsive when I had questions and was very friendly. Would highly recommend! Thank you Christine for a wonderful stay!

Nicole is a very accommodating host (I had asked to arrive earlier because I have a 4-month-old baby and bedtime was the time to arrive.) This didn't pose a problem at any time, quite the contrary. I was traveling with my colleague for work, Jean-Claude showed me around the space and explaining how it works. The kitchen is very well equipped and we had enough to prepare breakfast on site, a big thank you for this generosity! The house is spacious, the place is very peaceful and quiet, which is nice. There is space to park 2 cars in front of the house and there are 2 car parks very close to the house. Jean-Claude was responsive and responded to our messages quickly. i recommend it!
