Vacation rentals with breakfast in Sierra de Gata

A lovely stay in Arturo’s home! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a beautiful bath; Ciudad Rodrigo was pretty and we had great food; the breakfast that Arturo made for us was a nice touch that is rare to find in other accommodations! Thank you!

Monsanto is a wonderful place to visit, and Sunset House is an amazing experience in its own right. The House is just as it appears in the photographs, but the photos don’t really do justice to the actual experience of staying there. My wife and I have stayed in some wonderful Airbnb’s, but Sunset House is one of the best we’ve had the pleasure to enjoy. Eloísa is a great host. From her communications pre-arrival; to meeting us at the car park with her micro-electric car to pick up our luggage and show us the way to Sunset House; to bringing us a delicious breakfast each morning; and to providing us with home-cooked soup on our second evening, Eloísa made us feel welcome and at home. Monsanto is a fantastic place to visit … if you’re thinking of going then do so. And if you do, stay overnight at Sunset House … you won’t be disappointed.

House with a beautiful architecture built and decorated by the Host himself, Mr.António Pascoal. Very nice space, with garden and terrace with privileged views. Sr.Pascoal and his wife D. Isabel, always friendly and attentive. an excellent breakfast, and surprised by the live music playing viola made by Mr. Pascoal. We learn that D.Isabel is also a therapist and has at the disposal of its massage services, with great pity I could not experiment. I'll be back next, with more days available. For those looking for quiet the region is fantastic, there is also a river beach with waterfall. I recommend, I will return🙏

a new apartment very nice, very clean, very quiet area and suitable for going with children, we have been like in our house, I recommend it 100%, we will return for sure, it also has a garage to store the car, Victor Manuel and María are very attentive, they recommended many things to see and places to eat

Totally recommended. Close to the historic center and places to eat and supermarket. A quiet area. Victor and David were aware of everything we needed and were quick to answer. The place is clean, tidy, with everything we could need and breakfast included. We are very happy

Excellent hosting. The apartment is very comfortable with all the necessary equipment. Excellent location, just a few minutes walk from the historic center, markets and good restaurants (highlight the Bella Ciao pizzeria). Easy to park in front of the apartment or very close by, on the main street. The reception was excellent, Cati was very welcoming and friendly, she showed us the whole place and gave us tips about the city, in addition to leaving bread, butter, milk, juice and several other products available for our stay. Thank you!!! It will certainly be our choice if we return to Ciudad Rodrigo.
