Villa vacation rentals in Sicily

Villa was clean and tidy, and matched the description on the AirBNB website. It had all the facilities we needed for our stay. It had a modern contemporary feel, yet was comfortable and homely. There is a great view of the coast line from the first floor balcony. Our host, Tommaso was friendly and responsive. He was kind enough to bring us pastries on our first morning, biscuits when we checked out, and a lovely ice cream cake when he needed to visit during our stay. The Villa is located in a rural setting and a car is a must. It is situated about 20ish miles/30 minutes east of Palermo Airport. There is a fantastic beach about 5 minutes walk. The nearest town is about 6 miles away and has a good variety of restaurants and shops.

Just returned from a wonderful 11 days at the villa. The accommodation and grounds were more than enough room for all 9 of us (5 adults 4 children). The villa is super clean, nicely presented and situated in a beautiful rural location, which is very accessible from one of the main roads. We loved the large pool and there was plenty of room poolside for the kids to play football and have fun. It was also very safe for our adventurous two year old. Kathryn and her husband were first class hosts, providing us with useful information, sweet treats, and allowing us to pick fresh fruit from the farm. They were attentive to our every need. We also enjoyed using the barbecue, watching the sunset and having walks around the farm. Piazza Armerina is a nice, quiet little town. There are some good restaurants and people are very friendly. We also visited Taomirna, Enna and Caltagirone. It was a perfect getaway and we would definitely book again.

Wonderful villa that is exactly as described and is in a great secluded location. Santo is an outstanding host like we have never experienced before, extremely friendly, really available at any time and helpful no matter what. You can feel the pride and care with which the building and the property are kept in good condition and immediately feel comfortable and valued. The location allows the breathtaking sea view that can be enjoyed anywhere on the premises and in the house. Due to the central location, you can quickly get to the pretty port town of Sciacca and for shopping you have the city of Ribera with many possibilities just a few minutes away. For children, everything is available to have a nice relaxing stay, in general the Sicilians are super child-loving and the little ones are welcome everywhere. We had a very nice vacation and can well imagine coming back.

Words cannot describe how thankful we are to have found Simona’s and Roberto’s beautiful home. We just moved to Italy from the United States, and in the middle of our travel we discovered we did not have housing secured like we originally thought. Simona was so quick to respond to our situation and her flexibility with us meant the world. For our first month in Italy, we felt as if we had landed in a dream - the orange grove was the perfect peaceful spot for long walks with our dog and the serene atmosphere allowed us to unwind and really enjoy our new Italian life. The house is rustic and beautiful - there are so many perfect little personal touches and we felt cozy during our stay. The best part were the hosts, Simona and Roberto. They were responsive to our every need and showed us great hospitality. Simona gave us local Scordia recommendations, even bringing us bread, treats and fruit from the farm. We would stay here in a heartbeat again. Thank you for everything, Simona!

We enjoyed the house, everything was clean, the service and communication was always in time. A big thank you to Maria Angela, who took care of us personally. She always answered promptly and gave us so much recommendations for food and thinks to see. We did not know that the house is part of a gated community. And we were surprised that the house was offered by an agency. But in the end all good.

We really enjoyed our stay in Taormina at Louisa’s place. Louisa is wonderful, very warm, friendly and helpful. She made us feel welcome and appreciated. We felt fortunate to find such a great place to stay. The place is gorgeous, it has that lovely, classic Sicilian villa feel to it. It was a joy to stay in during a few of the rainy days of our stay. The villa is very well located, just a 7 minute walk from the main walking street (Corso Umberto). It also has a private parking garage which is a difficult amenity to find in Taormina. It was a huge plus for us as we were touring Sicily by car. There’s a large, eat-in kitchen with literally everything you need on hand, the bedrooms upstairs are comfortable, with en suit baths. The beds were comfortable, bathrooms and actually everything was very clean. The provided fruit, coffee and a bottle of wine from Louisa were a nice touch. We will stay here again and look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended. Thank you Louis

Stunning villa, spacius inside and outside, huge porch with comfortable sofa and tv, private pool with deckchairs for sunbathing. Walking distance to the beach, a short drive to the shop. Perfect fit for 6 people, with lots of kitchen amenities and various glasses to enjoy wine or other sicilian spirits and delicacies.

A fantastic host, friendly and helpful, who offered lots of local recommendations. Beautiful location with lovely views.

Amazing place - probably one of the best air bnbs I've stayed at. Very well equipped, spacious, modern, clean apartment with very comfortable beds. Sadly it rained a lot whilst we were there so we didn't get to use the pool but the garage gym was great. Alberto was super helpful and kind, providing recommendations and advice - very easily to contact throughout our stay. Would highly recommend.

We had a wonderful time at Roberta and Jurij’s villa - it is peaceful, beautifully maintained, and with stunning views of Mt Etna and Taormina. Roberta was very responsive and flexible and helped us find a local driver. The pool is delightful. We had a great stay and would love to come back

The villa more than met our expectations. It is a beautiful villa, quiet, with spacious rooms, a large pool and spectacular view of mount Etna. Vera and her team were always available to help and suggest things to do or see in the area (restaurants, boat trips, excursions to the Etna, etc.). I definitely hope to come back. We were with a small group of old friends and spent most of our time at the table next to the pool.

This place was exactly like the pictures. It’s gorgeous and the pool and surrounding areas are beautiful. The rooms are clean are modern and it feels like a five star resort. Marko was very responsive and helpful in terms of planning - I will call out that they don’t allow outside chefs or visitors which wasn’t in the listing and caused some stress for us. Additionally, although Castellammare del Golfo is a very cute town with lots of restaurants - it is difficult to walk there and back from the villa due to the large hill and it was much harder and more expensive than expected to get back and forth from the city centre and to the beach. Overall we had an amazing experience at the villa and would highly recommend. Thank you so much!!

Stayed here for 3 nights with my parents. Everything was as described, the property was very clean and quiet. There’s the equivalent of 2 flights of stairs, not a problem for us. The property is well located, close to the waterfront and an amazing square with lots of food options nearby. The host was responsive and checking in & out super easy. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place. The house has a beautiful pool, huge living room. Terrace on the top that is perfect for watching starts. The house has large bedroom. I rented the place for my girlfriend and myslef - it was fabulous to enjoy the large space, and privacy. The place is surrounded by trees and no neighbours nearby so we could enjoy privacy. The owner was super proactive, responsive and helpful. We plan to go back again in the future. 10/10

Oriana was a great host. She stayed in communication with us from start to finish and periodically checked in to see how we were doing. Even brought us a delicious homemade dessert towards the end of our stay for us to have. She was very responsive and courteous and made us feel right at home. She even let us have a later check out knowing we had an event the night before which worked out great! We will be coming back to this area again in the future and we definitely look to stay here again!

Villa Lenzo is located in a beautiful setting. Lots of privacy at the location. The village of Ferla can be reached in 5 minutes by car. There are a few restaurants and also a Coop supermarket. It's a must to have dinner at Quattro Canti. Traditional dishes and the pizza Etna is highly recommended! Furthermore, there is a bakery and butcher. In the direct surroundings you can find Pantalica. A beautiful area to take a walk between the rocks and along the river. But you don't necessarily have to go out. Enjoy the sun at the villa with the occasional splash in the beautiful swimming pool. There is also a large gas BBQ available to have a bite to eat at the villa. For the sports enthusiasts, there is a table tennis table. We thought it was a top location and the host Paola provided us with all kinds of information to make our stay even more pleasant. Thank you Paola!! In short, a super location to completely recover. Book this location!! Regards, Arie

A very nice modern house with nice pool, the children were enthusiastic. We had a very nice time there. It is not the typical tourist district but if you like it a little quieter, you will get your money's worth there. So great.

The check-in was flexible and easily arranged. The villa was beautiful and very comfortable for two couples, located outside of the city which makes it easy to unplug and relax. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Mindblowingly Gorgeous! quick drive to Marina di Ragusa....central to other day trips, Modica, Noto, beaches...Kitchen had everything we needed to cook some great meals, Ignazio very responsive and helpful. Fresh milk from the dairy farm for our morning coffee was an extra touch!

I had an excellent stay at Villa Balestrate, and it was truly a memorable experience. The location is perfect – peaceful and secluded, yet just a 5-minute drive to the town center and the beach. It’s the ideal spot for anyone seeking a relaxing getaway with easy access to local attractions. The villa itself is even more stunning in person; the pictures really don’t do it justice. The host’s communication was perfect both before and during our stay, making everything seamless and stress-free. The villa was beautifully maintained, and we felt at home from the moment we arrived. If I had to make a small suggestion, it would be the addition of some cleaning products for guests, and the shower is on the smaller side. However, these are very minor points in what was otherwise a perfect stay. I highly recommend Villa Balestrate and look forward to returning!

Wonderful villa, beautiful indoors and outdoors, nicely furnished, equipped with everything you could need, super clean, spacious and peaceful. Good size swimming pool with comfortable sun loungers to hang out and watch the beautiful mountains. Loved the outdoor kitchen with good size bbq. Great base to explore the northwest and west of Sicily. Castellammare del Golfo has many great restaurants (don’t mis La Tonnara) and is a beautiful town. We also loved our hike in Monte Cofano. Communication with Nicole was excellent, pro-active, friendly and fast responding throughout our stay. Extremely good value for money, we stayed in more expensive places in Sicily that were nowhere near as nice. We would certainly come back

Beautiful and tranquil villa. Exactly like the pictures. We were a family of 8 including a baby and it was perfect and not at all cramped. Loved the pool area and sea view. Everything we needed was there. Vanessa was a great host- best ever! She was so helpful. Unfortunately our baby got very sick and was hospitalised for the majority of our stay (and beyond) and Vanessa went out of her way to help and advise us both medically and practically and it was a great comfort. Thank you Vanessa! We would highly recommend the villa. Can’t comment much on Sicily as most of our days were spent at the hospital or villa but we did a few local places as recommended in the visitor book and they were charming and as described.
