Rua’s place is in the heart of zamalak, close to the metro. This is the place you want to stay if you are visiting Cairo! Downstairs from the flat you will find everything you need a pharmacy many restaurants and shopping, as well as many cafes for working and late night food. There is a super market open late as well. It is a very diverse area with lots of schools around so you will see school kids walking throughout the day. One of my best experiences with air bnb. And the balcony has a beautiful view. The only bad part was that we didn’t want to leave!

This is very spacious apartment and the views are at least as good as on the photos. Also, being so high above the ground it's also fairly quiet, like a sanctuary from the hustle and bustle below. The beds are very comfortable to sleep in and the flat was well equipped. Most importantly, the host Maged was incredibly helpful, even saving us from some of our own blunders on our first days in Cairo. He is also a very capable English speaker.

We had a lovely time with Nasser who was a great help so we could fully enjoy Cairo. Recommended!

I enjoyed staying at Ahmed's flat immensely. This beautiful flat is a gem within the heart of Zamalek. It has a magical view from the balcony of the River Nile, and whichever time of day one will always wash away any work or life stress by just looking at this view. The flat also benefits from a unique panoramic view of Cairo through its large windows and from the balcony. The sunset time is particularly memorable, and the breeze in the balcony even during the hot summer is refreshing and pleasant. The flat is very clean, spacious, and it is close to multiple shops, cafes, supermarkets and the main 26 July st. which is a busy entertainment and social hub. Ahmed is a great host, always attentive to details and to the guest's queries and requests. He is quick to respond to any issues that might arise. The building itself is very safe and has 24-hour security at the landing. For me, staying at Ahmed's flat was memorable, and would definitely stay there again. It is the sort of place that truly ignites your love of Cairo because you see its majestic beauty in front of you day and night.

Shorouk was a great and responsive host! She is very friendly and accommodating, and will give you good advice about what to do around town.

Mark has been really helpful during the whole process! He is really considerate since he minded our schedule very much. Also after checking-out, he didn’t charge us for our mistake. The room it self is also well organized and tidied. It is a good choice for a family of 2 or 3 ! The heater helps a lot in the winter!

Incredibly spacious spot just a short (and cheap) Uber ride to many big attractions in the city. Abdallah was friendly and welcoming my entire stay! I'm planning on staying again longer next time I come through!
