Percy and his wife were wonderful friendly hosts. Very pleasant to talk with and gave great suggestions for the area. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. My only warning is that the bathroom is very tight; probably not by Japanese standards but definitely by Canadian standards.

This is our fourth stay in a year. They were kind again this time, and we had a very fulfilling week. We will be back in Takahashi!

You can see the starry sky in the middle of nature and sleep in the night breeze.In the morning, it is truly ecotourism, with fresh sunlit greenery covering its view. There are also plenty of amenities, so I think anyone can stay without inconvenience.

The place is less than 3 minutes away from the Peace Park Museum and just as close to the nearest Tram/Streetcar Station. It is extremely accessible to all the major tourist places in Hiroshima. The building is easy to find and the surrounding is quiet (next to the river) and close to a coin laundry and a convenience store. The room was sizeable with a nice soft bed, a mini fridge, and a proper writing desk with drawers and compartments. What was great was that the room, as well as the shared bathroom, was cleaned daily and the garbage thrown daily as well - just like a decent hotel. The host was most kind and was ready to recommend places and accommodate my needs and questions - and speaks some English. During my whole stay, she was incredibly nice and felt as if she is family ：） But the best thing for me was the cats. The host has two cats. One is fat, fluffy and playful and came to visit me in front of my room every night!. Truly a great choice for staying Hiroshima. I enjoyed it.
