This place was extremely easy to find as it’s located just across the street from the Narushima Ferry Terminal. It’s been a great starting point to explore the island (thanks for the car). The ambience was also nice.

What a gem this home is! Beautiful woodwork, great design, and cozy spaces make you want to spend all your time here. We loved cooking in the lime green kitchen, reading on the mats, and stargazing after an outdoor fire. The neighborhood is charming too! We loved walking through the farms up to Onidake, and exploring the rest of the gorgeous island via car. Matsumoto was so helpful providing local recommendations during a sleepy holiday period, and he even gave us an early morning lift to the ferry terminal when our original plan fell through. We were so thankful and absolutely want to stay here again with our family. Folks looking for a cool place to call home in this serene island country area should visit!

My family of three spent three nights together.It was a sightseeing trip centered around the beach on Fukue Island. I used about 10 airbies for work and private, but the sound of the sound is the most satisfying. Not only is it well cleaned, but everything is organized in an easy-to-use state.If you want to use tissues, trash cans, treads, soap, etc., it always feels close. Thanks to your direct information at check-in, we were able to effectively understand how to use the full facilities.I arrived after sightseeing in the hot weather, so I was happy that the air conditioning was properly set. The old house renovation is definitely old around the water, but the sound of the sound is unnecessary, and the cleanliness and comfort of the bathroom were surprising. Property information is accurate.Basically, there are a lot of new high-grade models for appliances.For example, there are many fixtures that are not written, such as two scales and a sashimi knife. From the garden, there were stairs down to the sea, and it was blissful to hang fishing lines in the morning and evening from here. There was a mint growing in the garden.The next time I go, I want to make and drink fresh mojitos. As a reminder, the bathroom door is glass-walled and you can see the inside of the bathroom from the washroom.We don't mind, but we may need to be considerate when using it with multiple families.And I think renting a car is almost a must in terms of location.

We were delighted with our stay at Nicholas and his wife's guesthouse. The house was exactly clean and equipped. The location is very nice, quiet, close to a beach (view from the kitchen on the sea). Nicholas was always very responsive, excellent communication. He very kindly picked us up then dropped off at the speedboat pier and was very helpful when the one from the return was canceled! We also rented his small car, our essential ally of our many excursions on the island! We hope to return sometime!!

I'm staying for four nights and five days for work (sea water research).The cold wave hit from the end of January to February, but there was an air conditioner in each room, so I was able to spend my time without feeling the cold at all. It was very helpful because they sent us the Goto archipelago materials in advance.They were also quick and polite to my questions. When I arrived at the inn on the first day, I was happy to have drip coffee, tea, Japanese tea, delicious croissants, and oranges prepared with the number of nights.In addition, there was also 2 liters of water and tea in the fridge.We have all the basic condiments, so it is helpful for self-catering. I recommend Elena or Big Value for 10-15 minutes by car.I was particularly surprised by the abundance of big value local fish sashimi.The Goto beef was also very delicious.There was also a liquor store about a 5 minute walk away. Every day during my stay, I contacted Nakatsu Island, Naru Island, and Kuga Island from Fukue Port Terminal (10 minutes by car) to investigate the sea water by renting a car.It is also a very convenient place to visit these remote islands. We use a variety of private lodging throughout the country, but the coziness and hospitality are top-notch.I'd love to stay with my family next time.

A nice, relaxing way to ring in the new year. The house is small, but spacious, with lots of new amenities. I was a bit concerned that the sky lights might wake me up prematurely in the morning, but not so. And honestly, that was the best pillow I’ve ever borrowed for the evening. Sadly, I wasn’t able to utilize the complementary fishing gear that was provided, but I do intend to return later in the year. The local area is quaint. I highly recommend the cafe that is within a few minutes walk from the house.

The villa is so beautifully and lovingly restored that the photos do not do it justice. It has all the amenities you need to enjoy a fun and comfortable stay on Fukue Island. The host is so friendly and kind and she welcomed us in person to show us the details of the house. She also lives next door so it felt very safe, but still private. There are plenty of maps and brochures with suggestions of what to do on the island, which was super helpful. This stay was like a dream - we cannot wait to return!
