Our group of three had a wonderful stay with Marta and Osama, who are also some of the nicest and most sincere hosts we’ve had the pleasure of meeting in our time traveling! We loved the Nubian architecture and interiors of our apartment were nicely appointed. Our hosts were kind enough to even prepare us a box meal for our early day trip to Abu Simbel, and they also helped us charter a boat to the tombs across the river at a fair price. The island itself is wonderfully rustic with some great little sights, and the people are quite nice as well. Ferries start at 6 AM and run every 10-15 mins it seems, so consider that if you are doing early morning tours from the island. As the hosts clearly state before arrival, there is some noise sometimes at night (cruise horns, call to prayer, donkeys, etc). As long as you are okay with that, this is absolutely a great experience!

Abdelrahman's accommodation is perfect. All things are well organized, clean, modern kitchin and decorate. Additionally, I booked a private car service, and they took care of it so thoroughly that I was able to get to Aswan, Abu Simbel, and Luxor comfortably at a reasonable price. He was very reasonable, treated his guests sincerely, and helped me with sincerity when I was in a difficult situation. I am so grateful.I highly recommend it to foreigners who are not familiar with the Egyptian environment. Thank you.

Hedra’s place is very close to the river and within walking distance to train station. He helped us arranging the Abu simbel trip, Flueccca and transportation from Aswan to Luxor. Everything perfect
