Shellman Bluff oceanfront vacation rentals

We booked this house for our annual family vacation, there were 12 of us, we each had our own space, the house was very comfortable. It had all the amenities you would need for a large group. Pamela was an excellent host, very attentive to our needs and always responded to our calls.

Best option available for Hinesville. Cleanliness is pristine and completely beats any hotel stay for Hinesville. Would recommend.

Well stocked with towels and toiletries. Quiet, cute location that had everything we needed for visiting family for the holidays. We hope to be back soon!

We needed Captains Cottage to house our adult children for a family gathering in Shellman Bluff. This was perfectly located for that purpose. It’s literally a short walk to the river or Hunters Cafe, which is also on the river. Shellman Bluff is an old fishing village, so the neighborhood will not have a country club look or vibe, but it is clean, safe and there’s plenty to see and do on a low scale level. There is hiking, boating, fishing, bicycling and the area is perfect for scenic car or motorcycle rides. As for Captains Cottage, it is everything you need and then some. Take note that they warn you there is only 1 shower. That made timing really important because our daughter loves to hog the bathroom. But it worked out fine. You do have the 2nd bathroom without a shower, so two toilets is pretty helpful.

Hope was a great Host, communication was clear and she responded quickly. Home is exactly what we needed for this trip. Left us beverages for our arrival. Sufficient Supplies were supplied for our stay as well.

This is our third or fourth stay at Laura’s. She and David are always responsive, proactive, and generally sweet. The marsh brings so much peace, and Laura’s place is the ideal spot to enjoy it. We brought our fishing kayaks to launch at Sunbury an easy 30 minutes away. Great spot- cant say enough!

Beautiful home and property! My family enjoyed the comfortable living space and fire place, as well as the backyard. I highly recommend using the fire pit by the pond! Great setting to enjoy quality family time and relaxing together. Mila was incredibly responsive to any questions.

The house is huge, and the pictures does not capture all that space that is available throughout the entire house. If you need some time for yourself, The Master Bedroom has an add on room (Big Room) with big screen tv and a very comfortable couch to relax. My family really enjoyed the house and location, not too far away from restaurants and away from the Busy streets of Hinesville. The home is definitely big enough for a big family. Francene the host is very helpful and will replay to your txt with minutes. We will definitely be back when we come visit Hinesville. We had very a good stay 😊.

Airbnb fees are too high in my opinion. We love the place and will likely come back in the future. Needs a salt and pepper shaker though lol.

We wanted to get away for the weekend to watch birds and relax. In the early morning , we enjoyed sitting on the deck for coffee and later in the evening sitting by the fire. We walked at Harris Neck Wildlife Refuge and saw the seabirds in the ponds. An added bonus was learning the history of the WWII air field and how the property became a wildlife refuge. The house is comfortable and fully met our needs. Jan was very responsive to our questions.

We stayed at this place foe 4 days ans it was the most relaxing, quiet, cleanest place. I never got a chance to check out the jacuzzi because was so busy and didn't know I had to let it get to a certain before it was worth getting in. I know what to do next time. The kitchen was nice to cook delicious meals in. The master bedroom was lovely; however, the bed wasn't that comfortable. The place was awesome. I would stay there again and would recommend it to anyone. Thanks Brice for such a lovely experience at your property.

Lisa is a great host, very responsive. I never waited more than 10 minutes before hearing back from her. Loved the place, it’s gorgeous just like the pictures, perfect for my family holiday get together!

We had a wonderful stay at Jennifer's Airbnb! The location is fantastic—private yet with easy access to the city center. The place itself is cozy and full of character, beautifully decorated with charm and style, and equipped with everything you need for a short stay. The outdoor area was a highlight for our family; our kids loved exploring and visiting the friendly hens. Jennifer was incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. This beautiful spot was perfect for our family holidays, and we can’t wait to come back again. Thank you for everything!
