We feel at home and we were nicely surprised with the careful decoration in every corner as well as how warmth is the environment, everything works well and it’s prepared to live at you do in your own place.

Peggy’s Holt was an ideal location to explore Lymington and the New Forest. It is within walking distance of the main town but far enough away to be a quiet place to stay. All facilities that would expect, with parking just outside. A clean and cosy place with a secure garden, ideal for our dog to enjoy some fresh air and bark at the birds.

Lots of free parking in the vicinity. Handy for a no frills stay.

Just spent a wonderful few days at Kathryn’s place in Ventnor. Absolutely great location on the island with everything within easy reach. Kathryn’s place is perfectly set-up and designed. Very homely with amazing views towards the sea and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Would definitely stay again!

Wow what a gem. Such a lovely cosy home from home. We spent 5 nights at this beautiful place over Christmas visiting our daughter and her family. Wendy was so friendly and helpful and communicated well with all our questions. Bed was so comfortable and managed to get some much needed extra sleep. Kitchen well equipped, sofa and chairs super comfy. Loved the colour coordination and the extra touches. Nice Christmas chocolates and milk tea coffee sugar etc. Really nice walk on the Red Squirrel Trail straight from the doorstep. We will definitely return and highly highly recommend. Booked this house for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights whilst getting my brother settled into his new house a few streets away. It was bliss to come back to somewhere clean and comfortable and away from the mountains of boxes to sort through and unpack! Had everything we needed and location was perfect for us.

Lovely, spacious house right by the beach with great views. Communication was great - we had a minor snag with the heating system and Jess & Yas were so quick to sort it. The kitchen is perfect for hosting dinners, the living room is so cosy with the fire and the conservatory is a sun trap!

We had a lovely family time, despite some dodgy weather. Great space for the two young grandchildren (and the dog!) Katie was an excellent communicator with very quick and helpful responses to any query. Really appreciated that she could be flexibie with check in/out. If you like pizzas I'd recommend La Pergola (stone baked pizzas) which is a five minute drive away and they do take away pizzas to collect. Looks very good place to eat in as well.

We had 3 adults and 6 kids under 4 in the caravan and we had an amazing time. We didnt actually spend that much time in the air b and b as there is so much to do in the local area and the facilities are so good. This is especially good considering it is February! The hosts were so responsive and understanding. We are hoping to come again and recreate a magical stay. We had reservations about so many toddlers in such a small space but it was a great set up. The mobile home had everything you needed for a short stay. It was very clean, the decor was nice and well-equipped. The location was well maintained but quiet, within reach of the beach and shops.

Just had a wonderful 2 night stay with our 3 young children. It was a cosy and homely base for our exploring, and we thought the added extras of tea/coffee/biscuits were lovely. We hope to return in future :) thank you!

Had a lovely stay with family. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed the property and surrounds. The living area was inviting and convivial with a cosy log fire. The host was very friendly, helpful and responsive, going out of her way to accommodate and make our stay memorable. Definitely recommend.

Fantastic location for walking & exploring. The barn is beautifully presented and stylishly furnished. Very spacious. Loved seeing the Llamas on our morning walk with our dog - on our doorstep. The New Inn pub down the road - Victoria’s tip - awesome, friendly, great food at a sensible price - try the venison or brill filets! Our only regret was that we didn’t stay for longer. Thank you team Shalfleet Farm.

I had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. The parking in front was very convenient, and the place was exceptionally clean. The host was very thoughtful, providing delicious brownies and checking in on my arrival. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals. Although the drive leading to the property was narrow, it added to the charm and privacy of the location. The TV had a wide range of Sky channels, though it was quite small. The heating was perfect for the cold weather, keeping the place very warm and cosy. Overall, it was a very private and enjoyable stay.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful converted barn, with a lovely welcome from Caroline. The Annex was clean, comfortable and well equipped with lots of useful extras, including doggy towels and bowls. Idilic, peaceful country location, with New Forest walks and beaches close by. We would definitely recommend The Annex, and hopefully one day we’ll go back.

The apartment was quite and the check in was made easy with a video. The place was lovely with a terrace with table and chairs to sit in. It was about a 15 minute walk into town . But is a nice walk by the sea . I would recommended it. The owners wife was very helpful with taking my suitcase down the outside stairs

As always, fantastic break with Gordon. His caravans are the only place we ever stay in southsea/Portsmouth area, you cant get a better host.

We had such an enjoyable weekend and our hosts were fantastic. A lovely weekend getaway in the New Forest. I don't think I'll ever book a hotel room again after this incredibly relaxing and luxurious experience

immaculate accommodation and fantastic to use as a base to explore the new forest. Annexe was private and had excellent facilities and a good garden, which Eskel our dog loved. If you have a dog the new forest is a great place to visit especially Lepe Beach, Calshot and Bucklers Hard in Beaulieu. Kerry was an excellent host and will definitely return in the summer.

We had a lovely four nights at this very cosy cottage. Lovely and clean, plenty of towels and well equipped with everything we needed and great wifi. James sends detailed, accurate instructions as to how to find the cottage and he is always responsive when messaged. The TV works great with Netflix and YouTube thrown in which suited us fine for the late evening when we arrived back from our day to a warm cottage with the happy prospect of then lighting the large wood burner. We try to shop island businesses and we bought our wood and a few provisions from Binstead Stores. The people running it are so friendly and welcoming. The long driveway to the cottage is uneven but just take it easy and it’s fine to negotiate. The garden with surrounding woodland is beautiful and it makes you feel you have truly escaped. We saw several species of birds to admire, rabbits and we also saw the elusive red squirrel which made our day. We loved Kennels Cottage and James is a great host, thankyou.
