Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Shandaken

This place is perfect to enjoy a weekend getaway with friends or family. Perfect for the many hikes in the area in morning, followed by the hot tub, outdoor fire pit and cozy relaxing indoors the rest of the time. Highly recommend!

Our family of 5 plus 2 dogs had plenty of space. We love that everyone had their own bedroom. The kids enjoyed the downstairs rec room. We love the kitchen, the double living rooms and dining area. We definitely would recommend staying here.

This house is absolutely perfect. Has everything you may need to feel like home and more. Hosts are in every detail and that shows in the extras they provide to make you feel like home. If you are planning to go during winter rest assured you’re gonna be warm, the heating of the house works perfectly. The surrounding are beautiful and so is the peace you will enjoy. We had an excellent time at the house!

We are in love with this place!!! My fiancé and I just got angered, so we went as an engagement/early Valentine’s Day treat for us. Upon arrival they left us congrats balloons and champagne which was SO sweet and unexpected! Rich and Britt were both super communicative, they answered us right away (even before the trip). The house on the lake in the winter was beautiful! We watched people ice fish. We went in the very clean hot tub multiple times which was so nice to have for the winter! The house was so spacious and clean upon arrival. They left little snacks and hot chocolate. There are local things to do which are close including snowboarding and hiking. We will definitely be back in the summer to go to the lake and enjoy hiking more. If I could give their lake house more than 5 stars I definitely would!!!

We booked last minute and were very happy with our stay. We felt right at home and had such a nice time with our sons. The beds are comfortable and the entire house is kept clean and neat. There was a great little place literally steps away to get a nice meal and a beverage or two. We stayed in bottom level. Jaimin was very easy to communicate with.

My husband and I stayed here for about 2 weeks while moving/renovating. It was so nice to have a full house with everything you need ready to go in it when we got back after long days and late nights. My father-in-law stayed and he stayed upstairs so he had complete privacy and everything he wanted upstairs, but if he wanted, he just came downstairs to hang with us. Dog friendly was a huge plus for us. Water is hot and pressure is good. Kitchen had basically what you needed to make breakfast each morning and then some. We stayed during a week of negative temps and the heat was still cranking! Proximity to Roscoe (5 mins to the diner!) and Livingston Manor is great- Peck’s market is like 10 mins from location. Would be a nice spot in the Summer with the sliding door to the deck outside and a fire pit- we were sad we missed it but if we have family come visit, we would def recommend them to stay here as a home base.

Great place pictures exactly what it look like. We had a gorgeous snow. Our puppies absolutely love the open space and the walks despite the cold temperatures Place was very warm and we had just enough space to move around and cooking. Nice meal worth the price.

The modern house in Hunter is the perfect getaway! It is serene, beautiful and a perfect space for a vacation in the Catskills.

We have stayed here more times that I can count. Bob and Jacki's place is a great get-away. Comfortable, cozy and so clean and well stocked for a longer stay. If you see how many times I left a glowing review you will see I mean it since we keep coming back. It is our go to spot when staying in the Catskills. Thank you as always, Bob and Jacki!!

The apartment was just as advertised. I felt comfortable and at home right away. Would definitely stay here again!

we had a wonderful 2 night stay at Eagles Ridge Farm. it's in a charming location surrounded by farmland and woods. The room had everything we could ask for, including a comfortable king bed, fireplace and small kitchen area. The host was responsive and helpful. The weather was a very cold 5⁰F and we had 6 inches of snow so we could not drive up the steep driveway, as we didn't have a 4 wheel drive vehicle. The host was gracious enough to allow us to park in his driveway and use a covered walkway to get to the house. We really enjoyed the stay and would go back in a heartbeat.

We had a wonderful stay! The views were stunning, the surrounding nature was peaceful, and it was the perfect escape from the city. Theresa and her adorable dog, Ben, were amazing hosts who made us feel right at home. We’re already looking forward to coming back in the summer! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

We had a great stay. It was a great quick weekend trip out of the city. This was our first time upstate and the location of Donna’s home was perfect. We had such a great time and would love to come back in the future.

Great place to stay. Easy travel to Cooperstown and the town of Oneonta. Major shopping nearby. Cute home nestled among other homes and a small farm. We felt right at home. Cozy yet spacious. It's close to family, so we will stay again.

We enjoyed the stay at Emilys place. It is definitely a tiny cabin for two people who just want to get away and stay off grid. It was super cozy, peaceful and quiet. Thank you Emily!

Second time staying here and it’s as good as the first time, we love our trip to the little log cabin. Has all the amenities you could ask for, great location near belleayre. Cozy inside and nicely decorated. Can’t ask for a better spot in Catskills.

We loved our time in Joey's beautiful cabin. Joey was very communicative and made our stay easy in every way.

The cabin is beautiful. Very bright and clean. Great views of the fall foliage from everywhere! Everything worked well as we made use of the kitchen several times. Everything we needed was there. We also took Victoria's recommendations of a couple of places places to go for dinner and cocktails. Both were spot on. Went for a few hikes, beautiful piece of our planet in this area. I made use of the firepit a couple of nights, very convenient.

Meng's place was cozy and well stocked with quality items - we found the bed and bedding extremely comfortable! There was also a snow storm scheduled for the second part of our stay, and Meng was very communicative and kind while helping us plan an early check-out due to weather. We wish we could've stayed longer, and hope to return.

What a magnificent spot! If nothing else, the creek next to the house was worth the price of admission. But the whole experience was fantastic. We filled the place up, and had a dozen more family members come for Thanksgiving dinner. It was cozy and the extra kitchen in the cabin was a godsend. We loved being there, and everything about our stay was perfect. Thank you!

We had a lovely getaway at Paul and Fran's! The view of the mountains is spectacular and the quiet serenity unmatched. There is hardly any traffic passing by in the area and the road is not visible from the house. The house itself was very clean (which I especially appreciated!) and the beds and linens were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well appointed as well, which made it nice and inviting to cook and eat at home. We loved the fireplace and watching movies on our streaming service. Overall a delightful and sorely needed respite from the holiday hustle and bustle back in the city!
