We had a great time in Flatdal and the hosting was beyond expectations! The cabin was spacious and clean, with a good bathroom and simple kitchen. We got lovely weather and grilled outside until the sunset! It was not lacking in hospitality and helpfulness from Asbjørn and Gunhild, we thank you so warmly for your stay!

Checked out after a few days in the annex of Lise. Everything was as described and out from the photos. Lise and her husband were very pleasant and accommodating with local tips. Very convenient with access to the kindergarten's outside area, only for ourselves 🤩 Thank you for us 😊

Idyllic place and a pleasant host. The apartment was well equipped. A terrace with outdoor furniture would have been nice to dispose of when the weather allows it. No opportunities for a trip on the sea this time when the boat/ engine had to have a service. Would love to come back late. Kind regards, Roald Kvalvågnes.

We've had the world's best stay at John Asle's! The guest house was absolutely beautiful and it was really an experience staying there. We ended up ditching a lot of what we would do in the immediate area to have time to new the lovely house and surroundings. In the garden there were both lambs and hens, and we had access to an outdoor shower that was super easy to use and in addition incredibly cozy. The whole area and the house looked like it was taken straight out of an Astrid Lindgren book. John Asle and his family were very nice and greeted us when we were out in the garden and we got to be completely at peace when we were inside the house. In addition, I would add that they had an emergency poster with address, coordinates and maps of exactly where the house was located if you need to call for help. Incredibly well thought. Wish it was possible to give higher scores, because this family really burst the scale of everything we've experienced in the past. Would love to come back for a longer stay another time!

Very nice cabin with extremely nice views. Extra focus has been placed on creating a relaxing environment that creates the setting for a perfect holiday. Anita was super helpful with all our questions and we can definitely recommend the place. In addition, the cabin is 50 meters from the nearest piste making it easy to go skiing or snowboarding.

Cozy little cottage in quiet area. Easy to check in and check out with locked up key. Big plus for Wi-Fi and cromecast.

The area is so beautiful and wild - and deserted when you get out on the mountain. We hiked to Lauvnesknuten. We met one person on the entire trip and it was on the gravel road before we turned onto the trail. The walk up there is so nice, the trail is good, the last climb a little steep, but it's worth it when you reach the top. The view is indescribably beautiful. Definitely recommended - a little too many private things, so there's no room for guests' things, especially in the bathroom and bedroom We'd love to come back

With the nicest place we've ever been to. The view will be indescribable! We didn't want to leave at all. Unfortunately, we only booked two nights - far too short. You can walk to the center, even closer is a supermarket. The kitchen is super equipped and has all you need. We were allowed to serve and even at the plum tree in front of the house😍. The hiking areas are quickly accessible and are totally worth it. Everything was great with baby (8 months), the apartment was very child-friendly (bed and high chair). We will have to come back someday We got so down, it was great!!

At the last short stop on our tour through Norway, Josefas house was super located to Kristiansand. The house has a beautiful garden and the landscape invites to explore the forest. Josefas communication was excellent and she helped whenever necessary. We can recommend it for all families.

This place was super cozy, clean and beautiful! We spent New Years here and was the best time ever! Knut Olav is super kind and responsive. We had a great time there- The location is perfect! There are hills around to go sledding and its close to both Hovden and Haukeli ski resorts! Perfect cabin! We definitely will come back 🤩🩷

In 2022 we were at Solsiden for the first time and it is a great place to be. The house is very nice and complete and a wonderful view at the sea. Arendal is a very good place to stay and this year we took our elektrik bikes with us. And in the stay of 2 weeks we nearly made 400 kilomters by bike. Solveig and Per are the best hosts you can find. We hope that we can come back again.

A truly beautiful stay in the most breathtaking location. A real wild Norwegian experience in the cosiest home. Amazing hot tub with views over the rolling hills and a cosy log burner with plenty of logs provided!

Absolutely great stay. Was there during the winter holidays Monday to Sunday and enjoyed great days at this nice cabin as a starting point. The cabin has everything you need. Absolutely wonderful location and view. Easy to get out / in of the hill. Good communication with the landlord. Would love to come back :-)

We have just spent a wonderful week at Rine's place for our skiing holiday, and we highly recommend the place! The house is nice, modern and cozy – and it was nicely heated with electric radiators when we arrived. In addition, we could easily fire up the fireplace for extra coziness and warmth. Check-in was easy and it was also a big advantage that we could charge the car without any problems. The house is high on the mountain, which makes for a great view – but also some steep climbs in winter so remember snow chains if you don't have 4 wheel drive! One of the great advantages was that the house was right by a path from where we could drive directly to and from the slopes on skis. It took us a few tries to find the right route home as the green piste was not marked on the mountain even though it was on the piste map. But once we found the way, it was super easy-and it was a green piste all the way down. All in all, a really wonderful experience and we could easily come back. Highly recommend
