Vacation rentals in Serowe

Since it was winter, Tiny let me know in advance that it was too cold to stay in Base Camp Lodge. Instead, she gave us the option of staying at her sister's B and B, The Pink House, in Serowe. Her sister was delightful and the en suite rooms were very clean. We were not there very long, though, so weren't able to try the breakfast.

We had a lovely stay there to attend a friend's wedding in Serowe. It was peaceful and the view was awesome. I saw a shooting star from the balcony the first night. I am not a morning person but I got up both mornings to watch the beautiful sunrise from the balcony, along with some dassies and monkeys. The braai was amazing -- the best steak I've had in years! The hosts were very kind and helpful. Would definitely stay there again if I'm up that way.

Despite we arrived later than expected the family met us and gave us a warm welcome. Helped us with our luggage. We were served an excellent braai in a very nice environment. And then breakfast with a wonderful view over the surroundings. So friendly and so nice Family!

Lilly is such a great host, she actually went an extra mile in ensuring that I enjoy my stay. On my first day of arrival, my car had a mechanical which caused me to arrive in Serowe in tje early hours of the morning and Lilly was so patient and waited for me all that time, I was so touched. She is open, kind, caring and her place felt like home. I will definitely book her place whenever I visit Serowe and I recommend her place to other guest who may have the opportunity to visit to Serowe.

It is a really nice place, modern and safe (two big lovely dogs inside the fence, won't bother you). I came with friends and we had a great time there. Although the isolation is not very good, we could feel the wind through the windows and doors but there is aircon in every room :)

Nora was an excellent host. Attentive and made us feel very welcome during our stay. The place is rustic with some excellent views. The rooms were very comfortable. It was a great stay!
