Family-friendly vacation rentals in Seaside

This beautiful home was so comfy and welcoming. The backyard was beyond peaceful and relaxing. Steps from the beach and you could hear the ocean waves while unwinding in the back deck hot tub. The host was extremely kind and helpful. Our little family had an amazing weekend here, we will be back as many times as we can.

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

Wonderful house and host! We traveled to Monterey with our three children and my mother in law. House was comfortable for all of us. The backyard was such a lovely space. Hot tub was awesome. Location was close to downtown Monterey, warf, aquarium while also being in a quiet residential neighborhood. Also a short trip to Carmel. Host was very responsive. We would stay here again!

Shari was so helpful and accommodating. We felt taken care of and right at home. The cottage is so cute and comfortable. It has a great side deck with a large outdoor sofa and wall fountain that hummingbirds really love. The back yard is beautifully landscaped and the hot tub is a huge plus! It's also nice to have TVs in every room. We didn't have a chance to use the bikes or fireplace, but hope to next time! So much is offered in this small but well-laid-out cottage. The neighborhood is lovely. Close walk to the beach! Several places to eat nearby. We can't wait to come back!

This was one of our favorite Airbnb stays we’ve ever had! The place was spotless and we felt right at home. Pamela was the kindest host and had so many great recommendations! She provided so many amenities and even gave us some eggs from her chickens. Her house is in a great location as well, easy to walk down to the coast and access to a lot of trails. Highly recommend staying here!

Great place to stay. Hot tub was perfect. Area is quiet, but close to the wharf and sights in Santa Cruz. Nights were cool and "central" heat didn't reach bedrooms, but space heaters were available- which was great. Mattresses are very firm, so keep that in mind. Erin was a very responsive host and all of our needs were met. Would stay again.

Best beach vibe! The location is amazing, great walkable neighborhood, lots to do. The house was fantastic, with so many thoughtful details. Joyce is a pro. She was super responsive and gave us great recommendations that made the stay perfect. My young kids (Age 9 and 6) loved the place - especially the downstairs living room and hot tub. Will stay here again!

this guest cottage was absolutely adorable! the setting was peaceful and we really enjoyed seeing all their animals on the property. We accidentally tripped a breaker while we were there ( oops too many small appliances going at once) but, they helped us turn it back on quickly 👍. The cottage was well stocked and clean. The bed was comfy. We appreciated the fact that we could bring our 4 legged family member as well. We had a wonderful time!

We absolutely loved staying at Alex and Nancy’s place. It was pristine, warm, cosy, welcoming and full of character. Alex and Nancy were fantastic hosts and responded immediately to any questions we had. We came with our dog who loved the space as much as we did. No detail was overlooked…would absolutely recommend.

This ranch was the perfect stay for my boyfriend and I’s trip to Pinnacles National Park! The hosts were all very responsive and the animals on the property were the sweetest!

This house was such a cozy and comfortable place to spend a few days with family in Carmel. It was so well organized and very clean. Great kitchen to cook in. The neighborhood was great and a lovely walk into town. The outdoor space was very nice to have in between the rain. We would definitely return.

Amazing outdoor space in the front and backyard. Very convenient location to get in and out of to explore the surrounding area. Jeremy is a great host; very responsive and helpful.

This cabin was very cute and woodsy and exactly as described. Tom did a great job equipping it with anything you might need for yourself or your dog. I would advise visitors to pack light since it's a fairly long walk down, so multiple trips to the car aren't easy. But once you're there it's nice and quiet and I slept great.

Lisa’s home Was Everything and more. Super clean and comfortable. We (5) stayed (3) nights over Christmas and the home was comfortable and very clean. Beds were great with plenty of extra blankets. The kitchen was extremely well stocked for cooking any meal. The beach is just steps away from the, and the views of the beach and surf from the house are amazing! There was hardly a soul on the beach while we were there and we walked for miles enjoying the birds, seals and seashore. We even got front row seats from the home of some great surfers who were being towed-out the amazing waves! This is a special place and we hope to return here. This development is gated and has a very remote feel, yet you’re only 20 mins to Monterey and Carmel.

We had a great stay at Lolly's place. The kids loved playing and exploring the private meadow and surrounding outdoors while we BBQ'd on the spacious dock. I went on a hike on the nearby trail with amazing views of the mountains. The house, kitchen, bathrooms, and bedrooms were all very clean and equipped with everything we needed and more. I would highly recommend Lolly's place!

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

What a great find in an out of the way place. Would love to come in summer but honestly, it was great cool weather to enjoy the house and view of the ocean. Saw seals and dolphins and birds, barely any humans! Best find was Pezzini Farms right outside the colony. Go there for good food!

Gorgeous apartment, like staying in a 5* spa hotel, only better! This was our little relaxing treat at the end of our California road trip and it was beyond our expectations. Very comfortable, beautifully styled and appointed apartment with a wonderful view of the Ocean from the roof terrace - perfect place to watch sunset with a glass of wine and to watch sunrise with our morning cuppa (we did both of course!) and with a lap pool and hot tub for our private use. Host always on hand to help if needed. Lovely hospitality basket provided. Highly recommended

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

Wonderful place in a wonderful environment. We had an excellent time with the kids, very nice pool, beaches close by and in the middle of the nice green hills of California

Susan's place was close to everything specifically downtown Morgan Hill. Restaurants, dessert shops, different ethnic foods were all there and we enjoyed going to all of them after working remotely during the day. She had excellent and top of the line appliances such as the washer and dryer, full-sized refrigerator, toaster, and kitchen utensils. Working remotely is a lifestyle that is a big part of my husband's and mine. Susan made it seamless for us with her high speed wifi. I was even able to workout every morning as she has a spacious living room. Thanks again Susan for hosting us!
