Family-friendly vacation rentals in Schwangau

We were allowed to spend a few great days in beautiful Allgäu. We immediately felt very comfortable in Alexander's apartment. He is a pleasant host. Everything worked out! Due to the great and easy to use wood stove in the living room, we often had a nice fire in the evening, which we appreciate very much in winter days. The location has a super equipped kitchen, hammer good barista coffee and is also dog friendly. The bedding and mattresses were top notch. There is no unnecessary clutter in the house. We'd love to come back anytime!

Beautiful small residential unit (Grubig) which is completely sufficient for a short stay. Beautiful homemade details that give a special flair. Walter was always helpful and responsive.

Wonderful, peaceful, idyllic location and chateau. High quality fittings throughout, including gym and pool table. It snowed for our entire stay and the house was warm, comfortable and secure. The sauna was fantastic, beds were comfortable and the kitchen was extremely well-appointed. The outside hot tub was great for new year, though because it is wood-heated it does take a long time (3-4 hours) and lots of attention to get up to temperature. We didn't use the downstairs part of the house, as it was locked and we didn't need ski equipment. The traffic to the lake and mountain though can get quite busy during peak times. Overall, a lovely stay, welcoming hosts - it's expensive, but if you want a perfect secluded winter getaway that's near to an alpine lake and mountain for skiing, it's a great choice.

Thomas is a great host, available and has given all the information you need to get to the property and what to do nearby. The sauna and private hot tub are a really top notch. I recommend it

We had a lovely stay at Elke and Ingo's place. The accommodation is as described, clean, peaceful and not far from the center, and the view from the dining area is magnificent.We would recommend this listing.

We stayed in the apartment with 4 adults and 2 toddlers and this was very spacious and cozy. The view was fantastic and we were able to use the activities included in the price such as swimming pool, playroom and the ski lifts. We felt very comfortable and would come back anytime.

A stunning little oasis in a little village. Frank and his wife took great care of us, even decorating a Christmas tree he'd chopped for us and singing 'happy birthday' to my partner. Aside from their warm hospitality, the house itself was very clean and had the perfect amenities for us as a couple. It was stunning and snowy around us and we were cosy inside thanks to the fireplace, super comfy couch and spa! The kitchen is fully equipped too. Thanks again Frank for a wonderful stay!

A beautiful accommodation, with a lot of attention to detail. Super equipped, even with spices, tea towels, shampoo, etc. Very friendly and accommodating host. We had a great time there and would be happy to come back ☺️

Andrea was very kind. We were late because of en-route traffic in Salzburg but she was kind enough to accept our late check-in. The apartment has 3 big bedrooms and a private garden where we ate our lunch. Stunning view! We need to make sure we have enough cash in Austria as bank charges extra for withdrawing cash at atm. Lot of places expect cash as payment including the tourist tax at Sautens.

We had a fantastic holiday in a warm cosy and comfortable house. Can’t recommend it highly enough. At the end this is a lovely family home and the vibes come across. Nothing g is missing, super clean and the views and location are the true Austrian experience. We’ll be back. Thanks to Kristin for super fast communication and being a great host.

It was wonderful! The place is beautiful and totally cozy. Dagmar is incredibly friendly and really a great host. The location is very quiet, but shopping is within easy reach. It was really great, we will be back

This was a fantastic place to stay. Very nicely located near the town. A small bakery right down the road. A wonderful experience!

We stayed as a family for skiing in Tanja's apartment. We felt right at home. Tanja is super warm and accommodating. The apartment is very well equipped, it is homely, spacious, very clean and cozy. It was exciting for us to also experience the animals that live on the farm. At breakfast we enjoyed the magnificent view of the mountains. Thank you for everything, we will be back next year☺️

Katja is a super nice hostess. Very nice simple farm. Our children loved the house and surroundings. Very good starting point for tours and hikes in the Allgäu. Gladly come back.

my sister and I spent a weekend with our dogs there. Very nice, uncomplicated welcome. Very warm. We felt very comfortable in the house. It is a very cute wooden cottage, very lovingly decorated and decorated. Everything you need is there. We had very nice hours on the small but very cozy terrace. Our dogs also had fun in the small garden. We also enjoyed the campsite very much. In the area was a swimming lake, an anglersee, and the Iller. We took long walks here. The Greek on the square is very very good. Food was very good, large portions and very friendly staff. We will definitely be back !

We had a great time in the appartment around the Xmas break and really appreciated the host’s attention to detail (we found a decorated Christmas tree in the apartment etc.) which made us feel very welcome! We highly recommend this place

The house is very clean , the location is quite good near the centre around 20mins .

Marion's place is in a great location, the apartment is nice, spacious and clean and it has everything you could possibly need. Marion herself is very friendly, helpful and above all uncomplicated. We felt very comfortable and welcome.

We have just returned from a trip to Sautens where 5 of us stayed at Jessica’s place. The apartment was clean, had everything we needed (and more!) and had gorgeous views. We went for a ski trip and there is ski storage at the property and a ski bus that goes to Oetz almost right outside the apartment. Jessica was very accommodating and lovely and we felt at home. We will definitely be returning - thanks for such a great trip!
