Amazing place. Perfectly matched the photos, incredibly clean. It was so immaculate it was almost as if no one had ever visited before but at the same time it's so homely! Hot tub was clean and private and the back is completely enclosed if you have young kids or dogs. Bed was super comfy. Check in was really easy due to clear instructions and friendly staff. Host really proactive on messages and gave local food recommendations. 30 mins from York city centre and 1hr 20mins from North East coast. Can't wait to come back soon! :)

Me and my partner really enjoyed our overnight stay, we had a wonderful time. The place was super spotless, although there were other cabins, we felt like we were alone it felt so private. Rachael was super responsive and friendly.

The lodge is lovely with an amazing view over the lake, we sat in the hot tub watching the birds on the lake it was so peaceful. Great place to celebrate my husbands 50th birthday with our family and dog. Immaculate home with a real homely feel. Great kitchen to cook in too.

What a gorgeous little find!! The cabin was perfect for a little getaway with my husband and our dog. Such a sweet little holiday park, nice and quiet and a quick drive away from various nice walks and restaurants. Helen and Richard have set up such a beautiful home away from home, with lots of little surprises that sparked a bit of joy throughout our stay. 100000% recommend. Thank you! We will be back! Xx

Kit was so friendly and helpful. Her place was really lovely, so cosy and beautifully decorated. Stowaway is so well equipped too. Furniture was comfy and we loved the bed! We had fantastic nights sleep and the area is so quiet and peaceful. Runswick Bay is a lovely place to stay, particularly out of season when it’s not so busy. Thank you Kit, this was the perfect getaway for us.

Lovely stay - from start to finish Lisa was a great host who allowed us a late check out, provided local recommendations of walks and even left us chocolates and Prosecco on arrival! The studio itself feels larger than the photos and was spotlessly clean. Clear guidance on how everything works was provided making for an easy stay. Thank you for a great stay!

What a peaceful place. Easy to find and on a regular bus route into York. Pleasant decor and extremely clean. Met one of the neighbours who was lovely and helpful. The Thai Restaurant does take away. Honestly the best we have ever eaten Cannot recommend this place enough

Had a fantastic stay. The cabin was immaculate, modern and was well equipped with everything we could need and more! Set in a beautiful location with easy access to walking routes and a short drive from nearby towns. Craig communicated everything brilliantly which led to a smooth check in and check out. We loved our stay at the Logde. Check in was very easy and it was spotless on arrival. Had plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 kids and had everything we needed. Loved the view of the lake from the living room and outside deck. We would highly recommend!

Loved it… great for Filey… just a short walk to the front.. peaceful area even with the trains going past… didn’t disturb us at all. Lovely and clean … everything there we required . We will definitely consider staying and will recommend

we had an amazing weekend. The lodge was extremely clean and tidy. It was very cozy and we had a relaxing time. As well as a few walks with our dachshund. The bed was a delight to sleep in. The photos don't do the lodge justice to be fair. The surroundings are very peaceful. Hopefully we will visit again. Thank you for having us.

Mariners is a lovely beach house, fairly cosy size but plenty big enough for 2 adults, 2 teenage children and a golden retriever. Only a few minutes down to a lovely huge beach. Would certainly visit again.

Vanessa was very friendly gave clear and detailed directions to get to the property and instructions to get inside. the property was immaculate and felt so homely and comfortable. little touches are made to make you feel welcome. I would definitely recommend staying at Vanessa's place we can't wait to stay again

We had a great couple of nights at the Elder Cabin. Cosy space to chill with added bonus of the hot tub. Easy to get to the centre of York for daytime activities and then again in the evening via local taxis.

Great place, stunning location & really enjoyed the hot tub. The pod itself is decorated so nicely & so warm in winter, would 100% recommend

This cabin truly surpassed our expectations. A very special experience over new year 2024/2025. Extremely clean, warm and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed every minute of staying there and only wish we could have stayed longer. Hopefully be back again soon.

We had an amazing time. My daughter,s reaction on entering was 'wow this is beautiful'. We had a really needed break. The accomodation had absolutely everything we needed and more. We appreciated the dog extras as our dog means a ot to us so it felt like she was welcomed as much as we were. We would definately stay again, in fact we have akready recommended it to two of our friends. Thank you so much.

we had a wonderful weekend staying in your accommodation. we travelled to York a fair few times and this was a 20 minute drive. the lodge was beautiful, really cosy and we felt right at home. the lockbox was hard to find in the dark as we arrived in the evening however soon noticed it once we got back in the car. really beautiful lodge and great communication from the owner. thanks again.

Lovely, peaceful location, which served as a convenient base for our weekend in York, just a 25 minute drive away. Spacious cabin for our family of 4, which could comfortably fit 6 people. The balcony and garden are nice sunny areas to sit for morning breakfast and coffee. Our host was friendly and we would happily stay again.
