My wife is from Ecuador and we visit Cuenca at least once/year. We have stayed at about a dozen boutique hotels, which are lovely, but this is the first time we stayed at this AirBNB. We were very impressed with how quiet the space is for it's location. The location could not be better as you are between Calle Larga (lots of great restaurants) and the main square. We stayed a total of 7 nights and never had any noise issues at night. The space was very clean and a travel crib, toys, and changing pad which was important to us as we have a 15-month-old. The host met us at check-in and was very polite and responsive to all questions we had through the booking process. We've been to Cuenca and stayed at a number of places and think we found our place to return to when we are there on subsequent trips! Thank you!!!

Excellent place to stay If you enjoy walking, the center is just a 20-minute walk away. You can also use the Azutaxi app, which is very practical, and you will arrive within minutes. The space has a well-equipped kitchen and plenty of shops nearby. Recommended for those looking for a quiet and well-connected stay.

Beautiful and comfortable apartment

Great place, definitely recommend staying here. We are traveling with two dogs and this place has a lot of green areas behind the house which is great for walking them. In addition there is a local market nearby which is only 2 minutes walking distance from the house. In addition there is a large playground just 5 minutes walking distance from the house which is great if you have kids.

Gated family dream home

The House is big and beautiful, The bedrooms are comfortable and very clean. During winter the challenge is that there is no heating but still the house is not that cold and there is a beautiful Fire place. The area is super calm and safe, the house is very clean and comfortable with a super big TV screen for movies. Furniture is new and clean.

We stayed for 2 nights and had a very pleasant time. It is located in a nice neighbourhood, only 10 minutes walk to the historic center. The house is spacious with a barbecue equipped garden, two bedrooms, and two bathrooms. The host is very kind and attentive. Would definitely recommend to anyone who are visiting Cuenca!

Xavier's house is very nice, and my family and I felt completely at home from the moment we were. Xavier and Gaby were extremely attentive and always responded quickly to any questions. It would certainly be a place we would return to with pleasure.

My husband and I own an apartment in this building and love it here. We were happy to find this apartment in the building when we had a new floor put in and had to be out of our apartment for 5 days. Eliana communicated well with us and we enjoyed our stay. She was very responsive to a recommendation we made also. This is a very nice apartment and location.

A nice place to rest if you want peace and quiet. Although if you want movement, it is close to malles, downtown or Turi by car 12min. Easy to tour, very safe place, quiet neighborhood, tentitas nearby and up to a health center. Mrs. ANA who welcomes you is very kind, even the dogs in the area are friendly (I love the animals🥰). Don Richard is very attentive and quick to respond. We had a great time, relaxed, happy with the good atmosphere. Everything was as described in the listing. It has all the comforts of a pleasant stay.

Excellent place very cozy and well located close to restaurants of varied food, pharmacies and everything you might need. The kitchen, its decor, and the view is a movie. Out there maybe some cold at night, but the heater they include and the extra blankets a 1000. I recommend it!

We stayed in Anthony's place for a month and enjoyed it! The apartment is on the 8th floor and has great views to the city. Very comfortable. The building is modern, has 24h security, a small gym and power generators (in case of outages). There is a laundry too. The area is secure and quiet. There are a big supermarket (Coral) and a tram station nearby (the trip to the center of Cuenca takes about 15 minutes). Anthony is a great host. I recommend this place!
