Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Sauk County

April's home was gorgeous! Looked just like the photos and was very clean. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could need to prepare meals. The beds were super comfy. We did not expect to have snow but woke up to a few inches of snow which made the scenery that much more beautiful. April had the house decorated for Christmas, which we truly appreciated, especially traveling with children. If you chose to go out, there is the Christmas Mountain resort about 3 minutes from the house with a restaurant, arcade, and pool. Plenty to do! We would like to make this our annual Christmas trip. Thanks for a great time.

Such a beautiful stay! The wow factor when you pull up is just the start! We had the most amazing time and made so many wonderful memories staying at this beautiful historic home. From seeing fireflies in n the evening to morning coffee on the beautiful screen porch, we had the most wonderful family adventure. The third floor was setup perfectly for our twin girls in one room and our son in the other! Town of spring green close by was a family favorite and we had some amazing dinners/lunches there. 100% recommend you try this stay. Make sure to have good bug spray and you are set! Thanks so much to Sam and Bruce for sharing this wonderful place with us all!

Amazing cozy spot VERY close to the ski resort. The bar next door was and amazing bonus to a great spot.

We had a very nice stay with a multi-generational family of 7 plus 2 dogs. The location was great (we were able to watch ducks and bald eagles from the pier). The house was very well equipped and spacious, and provided many spaces for us to gather and move around. The fenced in yard was great for the dogs. The host was very responsive to our questions as we planned for our trip. Overall, we enjoyed it very much and appreciate the effort that the hosts made to provide an accommodating vacation spot!

“The Park View School House”, a wonderful, cozy, charming place to stay while visiting Baraboo. House exactly like pictures. A lot of comfortable rooms for our annual girls weekend. Great communication with Gregg. We had a little issue, but Gregg addressed it quickly. Enjoyed delicious appetizers & refreshing drinks down the street at Tumbled Rock Brewery. Visited, “The House on the Rock “ in Spring Green about 45 min. drive and hiked Devil’s Lake, a 5 min drive to entrance. Loved our stay here and would definitely recommend this school house for your visit to Baraboo!

The perfect home away from home! There is plenty of room for everyone, human and k-9. We had 4 adults and 1 pre-teen, plus 2 mastiffs in our group. The location was perfect for our stay. The house and property are exactly as listed and have everything you need readily available. Very clean home, with 3 comfortable queen-size beds and 1 twin-size; extra bedding in closet if needed. Plenty of towels, TP, shampoo/conditioner, body wash, hand soap, etc; even a first-aid kit. Leah and her family were amazing hosts. The house was ready early for us and there was even a thoughtful welcome gift waiting! Not only can you interact with the two horses and goat on the property, but you're also welcome to arrange a visit to their large farm where you can meet additional animals and participate in other activities. If you're traveling with your dogs, crates/kennels are NOT provided; please consider bringing your own as we did out of respect to the property owner and future guests. We'll be back!

We enjoyed our stay! The property is a duplex but really felt like a single family home inside. Would be a nice arrangement if you had a large group and could rent both sides. The property was very clean and had many thoughtful additional elements that we found helpful: pack-n-play, high chair & work station. The kitchen was very functional & had most everything we needed to make meals. The bedrooms are very spacious and have luggage racks and place to hang/dressers. The beds are very comfortable: mattresses and linens are very nice. The neighborhood is quiet and you could walk to town if you are feeling ambitious, as it’s a bit hilly and dark at night. It was also great to be able to bring our dogs along for the trip. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and are thankful for the hospitality.

Great location for a ski trip to Devil’s Head. Very close to restaurants and grocery store.

We have two kids, a 9-month-old and a 7-year-old, so the property met all our needs. The place was super clean—clean enough for the 9-month-old to crawl. All the amenities were very close, allowing me to take the 7-year-old skiing and to the pool while dad stayed home with the baby. The pool was warm and clean. The property management very nice and helpful.

Very nice resort community. It was never loud, the homes have decent sized yards, providing some privacy between. Would be better with sidewalks for guests going to and from the amenities.

this property was perfect for our family retreat! it had all sorts of spaces accommodative to both adults and kids - and our dog - from the spacious yard and numerous dining areas to a game room, fire put, movie theater and more. the neighborhood was peaceful and welcoming, and made for some lovely walks in the surrounding nature. lastly, the host was *extremely* responsive both in advance of and during our trip, answering all of our questions, and even arranged for maintenance to retrieve a frisbee that landed on the roof. just a heads up - the bathrooms didn't come stocked with shampoo/conditioner/body wash, so make sure to bring that yourself!

Loved the woodsy camping feel of this location. Cute little cabin perfect for 2. Host was very helpful with directions and WiFi access.

Great place for groups!

We loved our stay so much that as a family of 8 we decided to make it an annual trip to this resort! Not only was the place beautiful but the host was available anytime we needed anything whether it was more garbage bags or more bath towels! And only took about 5 minutes for them to deliver our things right to us! So awesome! We also LOVED being in the woods! So comfortable and felt private. The pictures did not do justice to just how beautiful the actual house was! Clean and perfect for our family! We also loved that they had an indoor/outdoor pool along with a playground! (Since we had 2 kids with us) and beat part was that the resort was not too far away from any other activities/places we wanted to go to! Such an easy check in (we were able to get in early which was awesome!) and check out! I highly Recommend this resort and my family will be back again next year and every year going forward!

Best furnished kitchen we have ever rented

Great place. Walls are very thin so you can hear neighbors and cars on the street but other than that a good experience.

Great location, close to the restaurants and water parks. Lots of parking. Very clear instructions on everything. Quick to respond and made sure there was communication during our stay. Love that they are pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again if I’m in the area.

This was a quiet neighborhood, we loved staying there! Wooden backyard fence, our puppy loved being outside! Very spacious house, kitchen with everything you would need to prepare a meal, and felt safe in the neighborhood! Enjoyed the stay♥️

convenient location, very communicative host, perfect for a basic place to stay while enjoying the dells! very clean and uncluttered, easy checkin. the unit felt private. bed was pretty firm, my husband's back was grateful for that! the only hitch was that there is an older, smaller building behind the units and I got confused about which building was correct, but we figured it out pretty quickly. also the parking lot is a bit rough and broken in places, but that's not a big deal. worth the price and comfortable stay with a very helpful host.

Chris's place was convenient to all the happenings in Wis Dells. I was there for a work trip and needed something simple, safe, and convenient. This place delivered. Tremendous value when compared to other lodging options and costs.
