This cottage is set in an idyllic location: right next to the river in an extremely picturesque hamlet. The garden is by the river, and we sat there with our drinks, watching the river go by! The cottage itself is charming and a lovely place to relax. It has all the amenities one needs, as well as easy parking. It was very peaceful. Christiane welcomed us, and was very friendly, as well as helpfully explaining what to see and where best to go. We walked to the famous church and chapel from the cottage. This was an ideal stopover for us for a couple of nights on our way back to England from the south of France, but we would happily have stayed longer to relax and explore this part of Normandy. Overall, a charming cottage in an idyllic, peaceful and beautiful setting.

Thanks to Celine, a really attentive person who is available to answer any questions. The place and the accommodation very clean, very well equipped. The pool, a little cool. Véronique was a lovely host, both before and during our stay. It has never been invasive, but was very kind and helpful when we needed it or to let us know if it was possible to stay longer than expected at the pool. The space is quiet sinceit is surrounded by greenery. Also, the indoor and heated pool was a real plus, allowing us to relax every day, before or after our excursions. This week in Chemillé-sur-Dême has rested us all a lot, so I highly recommend this place.

Brigitte and Pascal were responsive by message, caring and adorable!

We had a pleasant stay at Pauline and Mickael's place. The children were happy between the pool, the trampoline, the slide … A very peaceful place where you can rest. The little plus that has more for the whole family is the company of goats on the grounds. It will have been nice if we have to come back to contact our great hosts again 🤩
