Vacation rentals with a kayak in Sarasota Beach

We really enjoyed our stay at David's place. It was clean and comfortably furnished. The neighborhood was safe to take walks and the people are friendly. The Bluetooth stereo is really neat to use, just put XM on the phone and it linked to the stereo. The pool is not heated but we did go in and it was refreshing after golf on a warm day. The kitchen is well stocked with essentials, except for wine glasses. We've never been puzzle people but we spent hours on one of the 1,000-piece puzzles David provided. There are Kayaks, horseshoes, and cornhole games to keep you busy, but we enjoyed sitting by the pool in the afternoon the most.

The house was very nice and clean. Joe was extremely responsive to any communication. Minor issues with the electronic lock but it was handled quickly. Make sure to bring your own water / coffee etc. That was one thing that would have been nice but certainly not a problem. We did not cook on our short trip but it looked like the necessary items were there. Overall, great experience, and the hosts are super nice and accommodating.

Stylish, comfortable, spacious, clean. We loved the garage/man cave and the swing/chair. Appreciated that Nicole was so responsive even though she had given birth the day we checked in! Also enjoyed the snacks and oatmeal, which we consumed (and replenished with gratitude). We enjoyed walking to the river, to Turner's Donuts, and to the car rental. NB: Pay attention to her map to the back entrance.

We loved our stay here! The house was exactly as pictured, clean and beautiful. It had everything you could need - pool toys, beach gear, and many kitchen appliances. The pool and canal were amazing. The host was very helpful and quick to reply any time we reached out. We look forward to staying here again!

Great house in a convenient location—lots nearby, including supermarket and restaurants. The house had plenty of room Joseph was very responsive and a great host. Will definitely recommend and book again.

We loved our stay. The house is very welcoming and beautifully decorated. Since we stayed here for Thanksgiving we really appreciated a good quality kitchenware. Our teens enjoyed using a kayak. We are very grateful that Jackie's place was available when we came to visit the family. We would stay here again.

Spacious with lots of fun things to do. Brock was a great host and when we realized my son lost something at the house, they searched for it and mailed it to us- amazing! Really great place with good people taking care of it. Definitely would stay again!

The home was great for 6 adults. I’ve been coming to Venice for 40 years & this was my first Airbnb there. It was close to all our favorites, clean & roomy for us to have friends from the area visit. Would definitely rent again! Nikki & Leighton were very responsive!!

This was a great place to stay for the week, very clean and quiet. Good location to get to either side of the island and the beach. Having the golf cart and beach gear was very helpful! Lynda was a great host.

If you are looking for a historic, old-school Florida home, this is it. The only reason it isn’t a perfect score is that the hurricane closed most of the shops that make Pass-a-Grille quaint. We were able to support a few local restaurants, and the local traffic was very light. We wouldn’t have changed our trip, but it would have been good to know. It seems like businesses are working hard to get back on their feet. Overall a good experience. I appreciate Lisa’s great responsiveness.

Really beautiful spot. We loved sitting on the patio and bird watching with the binoculars and bird ID book that was there. My dog loved it too, lots of different spots for her to hang out. This is definitely a great spot to enjoy the outdoors and take a break from a busy life.

Absolutely fantastic stay! This Airbnb is a gem, located just 8 minutes away from the beach, making it incredibly convenient for beach lovers. The cleanliness of the place is impeccable – it was super duper clean and well-maintained. The hosts have thought of everything you could possibly need during your stay. From a fully stocked kitchen to cozy linens and even beach gear, they've got it all covered. The attention to detail and thoughtful amenities truly made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Loved our stay!!! The weather didn’t cooperate, so we appreciated the amazing home. The communication was great, we coordinated the water taxi & check in time. The place is perfectly simple, well stocked, and felt like home. Loved having the extras for the few things I forgot. We are looking forward to staying there again! The drop off dock & beach are a quick walk either way! If you’re looking to stay on LGI, she was the perfect hostess to walk you thru how it works from the water taxi, grocery information, and all the “need to know’s” to make your stay unforgettable!!

Location is great, less than 2 minute, very easy walk, to the beach. Quiet street and properties on either side were not disturbing. There is no grass, so if you bring your furbaby, there are walkable areas to let them do their business. The house itself was very clean and not cluttered. Kitchen is well stocked. There is a great washer/dryer combo. There is no screen for the pool, but a quick daily skimming was sufficient. The pool was clean....no algae. There's a beach cart, chairs, floats, beach towels, etc there, so no need to bring your own. The house is older and in the afternoons it gets very warm (78-80) despite keeping blinds closed and setting ac at 74. We were there in the middle of August and we live in the South so are used to the heat so it wasn't that big of a deal for us. There was a box fan that we used.

The Cottage on the Bay was exactly as described. It was very inviting, clean and comfortable. Jack and Carmen were the most hospitable hosts that you could ever meet on your journey. Their communication as hosts was excellent and prompt from the beginning and throughout my stay. They explained that a welcome gift of food and drink is provided for each guest. I explained my food allergies to them. Jack thoughtfully provided substitutions for me instead. The kitchen had a generous array of utensils, pots, pans and essentials. This was an excellent plus for me since cooking was necessary due to my allergies. I considered the location excellent because it is near the airport. This made transportation convenient anywhere from there. The views of the Sarasota Bay sunset were wonderful. I loved walking around the scenic and quiet area. I enjoyed the best vacation stay at the Cottage. Jack & Carmen's hospitality and care took this trip over the top. They are the total package, 💯!

awesome place and people! super responsive and friendly - let us check in early even asking last minute. SUPER clean - like cleaner than most hotels i have been in. very comfortable and awesome place to stay. we had neighbors on the other side of the building and never heard them once, and there was construction right next door that you could not hear inside. amazing appliances that looked and worked like new. super amazing place and would definitely book here again.

Greg‘s loft is a perfect combination of unique, original design and thoughtful, conveniences with comfort. Everything has a beautiful look that is consistent throughout the space. I loved the kitchen and all of the appointments. Along with the appliances. Overall, the space was everything I needed or could possibly want.

We had a wonderful stay at Marc & Meagan’s! We had a family vacay to celebrate my children's birthdays and we had people aged 4-80. We all had a fabulous time! The animals on the property are so cool and add to the experience for sure. The kayaks, canoes, fire pit, grill, and dock where we could fish had everyone enjoying themselves. Meagan provided info on where we could go shark tooth hunting and it was so helpful, all kids had a BLAST and found many teeth at the nearby boat ramps and public access. We appreciate the clean and comfortable place to stay, hospitality, and awesome location! Thank you for helping us create memories :)

I don’t think a review would be enough to express Judy’s hospitality nor how absolutely BEAUTIFUL the scenery of this air bnb was. I had a family member pass recently unbeknownst to Judy and she just made everything so simple and amazing. It was just the getaway I needed. I will definitely be back!

Beautiful property, quiet neighborhood and the place was super clean. Had coffee and snacks for the guests. Saw deer and raccoons around the property. Caught a nice size bass right out front. Thank you.
