What a great spot to stay near Góis. Its small but it has everything you may need besides a perfect location near the river. Tomé is a fantastic host and give us lots of great tips.

The whole space was very good, it was a pity that the rain did not give us many options to leave the house, but with 8 people in the house we were very well installed, we used the fireplace and we stayed late chatting, the house could have more games and briquies to entertain two boys and the adults but we do not miss that, just one point to point out, we miss garbage men in the bathrooms and carpets, for the rest I recommend Ana's house very much, not counting the hospitality and reckoning that we had, affection and attention with everyone, leaving the hot breads in the door of the morning, we could not see the snow but the house was worth the trip, I recommend it and will be sure we will return at other times.

It was a great experience. The house is delicious, spacious, the fireplace in the kitchen is the high point. By car is at the foot of the Serra da Estrela and we were still lucky to see the snow. So it was a perfect trip

Joanne was very flexible and helpful. When it was wetter again, she came to get the laundry herself to dry in her dryer. They didn't charge anything extra for that! Joanne and Paul always had tips of what to do in the region. The house was very well equipped and is close to a lot of hiking trails through the woods. We are definitely satisfied with our month-long stay and highly recommend it!

We would rate Carla’s place as one of the best and most valuable accommodations we’ve stayed in. The house was impeccably clean, modern, and equipped with everything we needed to feel completely at home. It was both comfortable and unforgettable—in a word, perfect! Carla is a thoughtful and gracious host who provided us with all the information necessary for an exceptional stay. Her communication was outstanding; she was always quick to respond to any questions we had. The house looks exactly as it does in the photos, which is a rare and delightful bonus. We wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for an amazing experience.

We went to celebrate my husband's birthday and we couldn't choose better. We had an extra mime waiting for us and we easily went to the mountains, which we traveled very easily, still passing through Gouveia and Manteigas. Very comfortable house, even for us with a 20-month-old baby. We recommend to those who want a place to collect themselves from the stress of everyday life. Very good indeed!

Casa do Sepiao is an amazing property in a wonderful location. We had both adults and young children in our family and everyone had an amazing stay. Both main house and annex are beautifully made and furnished; all with high quality materials and appliances. A massive bonus is the fact that everyone had their own private bathroom - which is perfect for big families. The outside is as good as the inside: a big BBQ area with a big family table. Both kids and adults loved the bikes too. We all feel in love with the swimming pool and garden; the size is just perfect and the water temperature was lovely too - we stayed there for hours each day. It's the perfect place for a private and quiet stay with your loved ones. Rui is an amazing host. Always friendly, very responsive and very easy to talk to. I absolutely recommend Casa do Sepiao. You can really see the care that went into building it. We seriously hope to come back again! Thank you, Rui!

We were moving from the USA and needed a place for a few weeks. We were greeted warmly by the owners and felt welcome right away. Our Portuguese is extremely basic, but the hostess had a little English and Google translate did the rest. Any of our needs and requests were always taken care of with a smile. The house is just as described; very roomy and homey. The kitchen has everything needed for a short or extended stay. The wood burning stove in the kitchen makes it cozy and plenty of wood is provided. The orange tree right outside the door provided us with daily Vitamin C. The views are breathtaking and the surroundings provide a perfect setting for quiet reflection. We were sad to leave after 6.5 weeks. We cannot express our thanks to Pedro and his family to open this lovely home, make us feel so welcome and introduce us to the Portuguese culture; we are so grateful; we are so grateful. We can highly recommend this quaint little house to anyone!

The sauna is amazing and Adri and Petra are helpful and discreet. We stayed over Christmas and found them to be very thoughtful hosts who provided us with a space heater and hot water bottles (no central heating in the cabin). Love that the cabin came festively decorated as well.

Great place to stay and enjoy :) the host (Sra Adelaide) was amazing, very helpful and responsive. The house is perfectly decorated, very comfortable and with all the amenities needed to enjoy a perfect weekend or longer stays. Would give 6 stars if possible ! Thank you for everything

Mr. Abrão was always super helpful, introduced the house and made it easier at the time of check in. The space was perfect , even better than in the photos. The areas of the house are large and spacious, it has all the necessary things (well-equipped kitchen,hairdryer, dish and clothes machine…) and still left us a coffee box as a courtesy There is barbecue (interior), billiards, ping pong table, matrecos and the heated pool is cherry on cake. I also want to highlight the cleanliness of the space that was impeccable. Comfortable beds and pillows. Safe for children and animals. The only negative point was only the network signal that was weak and did not allow much the use of social networks but this in no way affected our experience in the property of Andreia and Mr. Abrão. We will recommend to friends and family and hope to return soon!

Great place for an escape. The infrastructure is as described and a very interesting concept of optimised lodging, which allows to focus on the nature and surroundings. Gustavo was very friendly and responsive. Overall it was nice to stay thime there while at the same time use it as a base to discover the amazing region.

The house has good conditions, better than it looks from the photographs. It is isolated and perfect for a few days with a group of friends or family. The outdoor area around the pool is super nice for barbecues. We have a few incredible days! Fátima was very careful and asked us during the stay if everything was going well. I recommend it!

Our stay summarized in one word: the paradise. The lost place on the mountain, the house furnished and equipped with everything you need and refined, the pool, the views… we were lucky enough to be alone on the ground and it was wonderful. Few contacts with the owners but effective and availability of Mrs. Concepçao who is super well in charge of the welcome and cleaning. A note for those in the city ;-) at first it impresses to be so secluded but is a delight.

The bungalow was brilliant. We made use of the pool and the villagers were very friendly, leaving us their sweetcorn to try. The little bar in the village was a bonus and the surroundings were perfect and quiet. Would love to come back one day.

The place was absolutely amazing, starting with the view near the house, bathing in the pool with all those hills around, especially at the sunset, the morning view, the small river just next to the house and ending with Katarina and Stephan, who were absolutely homey and helpful. The only regret is that we didn’t stay longer and didn’t have time to know them better. Because their vibe really touches the place. Also, the apartament was very cosy and had all the things you could need, even if you are traveling with a baby and a dog. Oh, the dogs! The best hosts there, Pepe and Ziggy were the entertainment for our entire family. Highly recommended them all!

Perfect place and place to stay. With the necessary and sufficient. even if there are houses next door, they are not noticeable at all, silence in absolute pure tranquility. The little house, a little one is ideal and fair. Maybe with some extra furniture and decor but it's still perfect. Victor is super attentive and friendly and resolves the inconveniences super quickly. I know important: the farm is on the slope, so you will exercise like it or not. We will definitely be back. we loved the experience. Also our dog had a great time sunbathing

A beautiful home with great amenities and a friendly host :) I grew up in the town so it was nice to see a lot of tourists visiting. Only suggestion is for the host to recommend the two coffee shops and hiking trail, also list the near by grocery stores for guests.
