After a week of hotel stays it was so nice to decompress in a home and do laundry! It was just the 2 of us and the space was much more than enough. A bigger party would be very comfortable. Appreciated the welcome email which included instructions on how to use all the appliances. Request- add in a true American coffee maker. The fact that the home is completely updated added to our comfort level. There are great spaces to relax and we enjoyed what the home offered and loved the showers. This location in Central Portugal is in a sleepy hood. There is a corner market but it doesn’t offer much. Arriving late, we were able to get a few essentials for our first morning such as milk & bananas. The 2 towns we decided to day trip to were Coimbra & Aveiro. Both are approximately 1 hour away. While it was a bit farther than I hoped, it was a nice chance to see the countryside & the A17 is so easy to drive. We were quite impressed with the freeways. Would consider a return with more guests!

Don’t pass up this gem of an apartment in the heart of the city. You’ll be on a quiet street walking distance to cafes, restaurants, and a wonderful indoor market lush with fresh produce. After a fun day of exploring, you’ll come home to a lovely space with all the comforts you could want including a fully equipped kitchen, natural fiber bedding and towels, and thoughtful touches and surprises throughout. Communication from Gil and Rita was excellent from beginning to end. We can see why they are rated super hosts!

Casa da floresta is a beautiful villa with a pool in Santiago. We had a great time and paying very little for what it offers (we were a group of 10 friends). Extremely kind and helpful host, he resolved a gas issue in a few minutes. The only downside is that it's a little isolated from everything

We had a lovely time in the cozy apartment. Pleasant street, beautiful house with terrace. Beds were great too. Everything you need is in a great location - a quiet residential area, but from where you could easily walk to everything. Very nice contact with Bruno!

Enchanting small "garden house apartment" with its own seating in the garden and barbecue use. Lovingly furnished - small but nice! For us, a quiet feel-good place just outside the center of the city. We were allowed to store our bikes in the shed. Communication was great, thank you dear Celia! Will come again any time!

Absolutely fabulous Place, everything you could need, very thoughtful touches. Better than the pictures. Peaceful chilled space but not far from Serta, for food and markets. Would definitely go back. Teresa was a wonderful host, great communication.

The stay at the house exceeded expectations, perfectly matching the images presented in the listing. The house was fully equipped for everyday life, with a wide variety of household appliances, cleaners, toiletries, and even ping pong rackets for moments of leisure. The hostess and family who welcomed us were extremely sympathetic and helpful, ensuring that we truly felt at home. I highly recommend this accommodation for groups, and without a doubt we will return!

We felt very comfortable in this beautiful apartment. Unfortunately we were unlucky with the weather and it was very foggy but we were able to enjoy the great view very much upon arrival and departure. What you should know, you have to pay 1.50€ tourist tax per day per person, which is not included in the price.

Great place, amazing location. Pedro was a great communicator and the maintenance lady was wonderful and kind as well. Highly recommend this place - lots to do around town!
