Villa vacation rentals in Santa Teresa, Pérez Zeledón

Such a beautiful place. It’s hard to find and the road is a bit challenging - definitely need a 4x4, but our little Suzuki rental did fine. The home is amazing, the concierge service was really friendly and efficient, the jungle location was beautiful, and the pool and patio were just the icing on the cake. It felt like a private oasis in the jungle, but just up the road from Manuel Antonio town and not far from the beaches. We couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

Great location. Challenging to get to initially* but an absolute oasis on top of the hill. The set up with 4 suite style rooms was perfect for our family and would be ideal for a group or for as many as 4 couples with lots of privacy and such a lovely open floor plan common area. Just as pictured in the listing. Clean rooms, great A/C in the bedrooms. We did have an issue with the kitchen sink water supply malfunctioning - not something the host could have predicted, and given the inconvenience they were very responsive in trying to get it fixed and making accommodations. *Detailed instructions and photos were provided, but we arrived at night in the rain and definitely would not recommend that, especially as the hill you drive up is a dirt road that washes out when it rains. Probably only an issue in the wet or borderline wet/dry season (we came first week of Dec) but just an FYI since even our 4x4 car got stuck several times!

We had a wonderful stay at La Perla! Magali was so sweet and super helpful! We were greeted on arrival and she surprised us with coconuts, pineapple and chilled water in the fridge! She thinks about all the small details to make you feel so welcome! We chatted for a bit and she made great recommendations of all the local places to visit! We had some weather issues while we were in Costa Rica and Magali was helpful keeping an eye on road conditions for us which was above and beyond! La Perla is in a great location! Close enough to town for easy dinners out but outside of the busyness of town itself! The beach is a short walk just down the driveway! The house is very well maintained and set up great! The Housecleaner came every other day and she was so sweet as well! We will be recommending La Perla to any of our friends coming to the Santa Teresa area! If you are debating whether to choose La Perla just do it! You will not be disappointed!

Ville Helena de Hermosa was an absolute dream to stay in! SO MUCH wildlife around the property including macaws, small monkeys, iguanas, etc. made the feeling of being in the jungle even more surreal. The property is walking distance to Playa Hermosa and only a short 20-minute drive to Jaco. Thank you to Gabriel for being such a great host. He is very easy to communicate with, greets you as you arrive, and is extremely attentive to his guest's needs. Having the security guard monitor who entered and left the community gave my group and I a sense of ease when we'd leave for a full-day outing. I couldn't recommend a better place to stay in Playa Hermosa! 100/10!

What a divine place! This villa is beautifully designed and so thoughtfully appointed—it felt like a true home away from home. Just a stone’s throw from the beach, the location couldn’t be more ideal. It’s also steps away from the main road, where we found charming coffee shops, shopping, and restaurants. We were so comfortable and at ease here, and the host was absolutely wonderful—attentive, welcoming, and quick to assist with anything we needed. I can’t recommend this villa enough and look forward to returning someday!

The place is nice, safe and child friendly. It has an excellent location. We loved that we could walk to the beach in less than 10 minutes and take advantage of the low tides. We'll definitely be back.

This is our second year staying at Villa Blu and it will not be our last! The villa was just like we remebered it. The home is clean, modern and nicely decorated. The beds are comfortable and the house has all the modern eminities. The pool and ourdoor area is wonderful and we find ourselves spending most of our time outside. The view is absolutely stunning! I will never grow tired of the view from the villa. Brenda and Alf along with their team on site are wonderful! Easy to communicate with and very helpful. We love this place and are already looking forward to next year's stay!

We stayed at Casa Meraki in late October, and I'll have to say it may have been one of the best vacations we've ever been on. We had two couples, both of us celebrating our 25th wedding anniversaries and everything was perfect. First, I'll say that our host Ricardo was the best we've ever had. Santa Teresa is a little off the beaten path, but he made it a seamless experience. He arranged transportation, our ATV's, sightseeing and responded to every question or need within five minutes of any request. A fantastic host that made Santa Teresa feel like a home away from home. Second, the pictures completely matched the experience. The view is breathtaking and we hung out every afternoon in the infinity pool to watch the sunset. So comfortable both inside and out. We can't say enough about this place other than we hope to go back soon. Both Santa Teresa and Casa Meraki are on our return list for sure! Ricardo, thanks for everything!

The house has world class views. You could sit on the back patio for hours and watch and listen to the wildlife. Monkeys, scarlet Macaws, Created Guans and many more.

We had such a lovely time on our group mom and daughter trip! Geralyn and the housekeeping team was AWESOME. House was so beautiful and spacious and had everything we needed. We loved our stay and would definately come back again.

We had our wedding here…. This place is unbelievable!! We can’t say enough good things about this place. Views just as good as Villas Calletas for a fraction of the price! Stayed for 4 nights with 11 people, and had about 50 guests the night of the wedding. Lisa and David worked with us and let us come a few times early with the wedding planner etc….if you don’t mind driving up the mountain about 20 minutes, I can’t imagine a better option in the area. (Road was in good shape in January 2025). We also used their on site personal chef Beli for almost all of our meals while staying there, including the big wedding meal. It was all phenomenal and reasonably priced. There’s also some wildlife on the property. We saw Macaws and a monkey almost every day. 100% satisfaction

Laurent’s house was exactly what my family was looking for our vacation in Santa Teresa. The views of the ocean were amazing. Highly recommend staying here! The pool was also fantastic.

We visited Nathan’s place with another family and had a wonderful time. Having been to Santa Teresa over a decade ago, we were so pleased to have stayed near our familiar surroundings. The atmosphere, home and touches were so perfect. We loved having ATVs delivered to us, which made our adventures and commute to the town and beach super quick and fun. You could certainly walk to nearby restaurants and shops, but the ATVs were a bonus. This house is a dream. Such a perfect setup for two families with kids. The infinity pool is amazing and the in fountain and view add an even greater zen touch. The place is clean, well-stocked and comfortable. The furnishings are newer and everything is decorated well. The housekeeping was impeccable and the complimentary daily laundry service was a really nice touch. We can’t wait to return to this very special home. Thank you, Nathan!

Loved our stay in Uvita and our ABNB was in a great location to walk to Whale tail beach and many good restaurants. Rest Kinsu right across the street was wonderful for breakfast . Little grocery store half block away for essentials too. Best massage at Jazmin’s Spa . Our host was very helpful at giving us information for drivers, tours and sport bars too. Went for hikes but had Toucans, monkeys, parrots and macaws visit us just sitting on the porch!!!! Highly recommend this property for visit to Costa Rica.

Great place in beautiful surroundings within walking distance to the beach, several restaurants and cafes and activities. When we arrived, there were power stops for 20 hours that made the stay challenging ( no A/C blah) but they sort out fine and eventually gave good information and compensation. Recommended

We had an amazing stay here. Jessica and Maria-Elena (who are the care takers on site) went way beyond in their hospitality. Everything was always clean and in good condition. Kitchen is fully stoked for a long stay. The pool is great with chairs and tables to hang out around it. The location is great with a good Soda next door, stores and other restaurants near by and the beach an easi walk down the hill (even with an overloaded stroller). One thing to note is that the place is on the main road through Puerto Carrillo so can be a bit loud at times.

Laura was a wonderful host friendly respectful and always available for any questions we had . She was always available no matter what time we contacted her. This house was everything and more than we could ever have dreamed of. Definitely will come back again we loved Costa Rica and would highly recommend this beautiful villa. Very responsive, clean and comfortable

Ludo is the best host by far that we have ever had on Airbnb!!! He stocked the fridge & pantry with a few things to get us started. Coffee, bread, milk, etc & even a bottle of wine! I also needed to get a ride to the car rental & he happily gave me a lift. It made a huge difference because it was a busy week & I would have probably missed the closing time if I had made another plan. Ludo- thank you for going out of your way to make our stay great!

My family and I went and had an excellent stay Adri super excellent host, super friendly and thoughtful. The truth is that I recommend it full, the INCREDIBLE house and the attention and impeccable security, beaches fences, impeccable cleanliness, everything is wonderful, the truth zero complaints and the best are pet friendly 🐶😍
