Amy’s place was exactly what I needed for my 5 week stay in Oaxaca. The house is a beautiful mix of traditional and modern. A simple and well designed space with everything I needed. The San Felipe neighborhood is a bit far from all the happenings in the city but if you’re comfortable being a bit off the beaten path and learn how the local buses work it makes for nice escape. Would definitely stay here again!

The accommodation in Rmz was more than convenient since we planned to make a stopover in the Cd. of Oaxaca heading to Cd. de Mexico for which its location is unbeatable. With all the services and amenities for modern living, it is a very spacious house to spend even an instance of more time, we will definitely be back very soon! A few steps away is a loaf of bread, around the way a shop where everything basic is surrounded and very close by different options for lunch and dinner!

The place is stunning, actually more beautiful than the pictures. It is really staying in someones home, the decoration is very cozy and comfortable. Since we had a car we thought it would be nice to be a bit outside of Oaxaca, and it was wonderful to have relaxing days in the house and by the pool. Also the local recommendations from Florencio were great! And some of us went to the city by taxi and bus and the connection was quite easy. Overall, we loved it and enjoyed our stay so much!

We had a wonderful experience in this home. The hosts were incredibly friendly and attentive, always willing to help us with any questions we had to get to know Oaxaca. The location is in a quiet and quiet place that allowed us to rest and relax. I especially want to highlight the excellent attention and support we received when there was a small inconvenience from us during our stay. The hosts supported us and provided us with effective solutions, demonstrating their commitment to the satisfaction of their guests. We loved our stay at Lili’s! Very comfortable and perfect for the two of us and our dog. We especially loved the beautiful garden and pool area with lots of shade and a hammock. We had a rental car, and this was the perfect base to explore the city and surrounding sites. Lili could not have been nicer or more helpful.

We stayed for 2 weeks with 3 couples week 1 and / couples week 2. the space worked great loved outdoor living and the plunge pool was great for a quick cool off on hot days. loved the rooftop living room space beautiful view of the city at night. All beds were very comfortable. could’ve used a few more glasses in the kitchen and the plants were looking pretty dry, but other than that, it was fantastic!

This is an excellent home for families or large groups visiting Qaxaca! Being situated at the western end of Centro means it is quieter when it counts (late at night) while still being walkable to all the main attractions. Bonus points for super responsive hosts that also provided a lot of good information (e.g. things to do, places to eat, etc). And the attached restaurant they work with is also really good (Humar - check them out if you like seafood). Overall would highly recommend!

We really enjoyed our stay here, the location is beautiful and the house was so relaxing. we loved our stay and would recommend the house Pros: Location -15 min drive from historic centre, and walking from the house you can be in countryside with beautiful views in less than 5 minutes. The air is much fresher than in downtown Oaxaca Local restaurants - there are 3 or 4 really nice restaurants a couple of minutes away, and we also got pizza delivery easily Communication - very fast, always helpful House - beautiful, massive old house, stunning garden and multiple places to relax. we cooked a coal bbq, sat on the veranda, relaxed in the warm pool good value Cons Far away from centre - we rented a car, if we hadn't done this, it would have been difficult and expensive to get around. taxis are around MXN150 into downtown The owner's dog lives next door and comes into the garden sometimes - it's fine if you like dogs Kitchen probably needed a few more pans, roasting tins and utensils

Wonderful stay in Colonia Estrella with tremendous views overlooking the city. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets every morning. Great for my two week stay, working remotely - and a 30 minute walk into town. A steep walk home to burn off the tlayudas and tacos upon my return. The apartment is beautifully furnished, a really great stay and couldn't recommend it more.

It's just as described, but it's not easy to get to the center

Sylvia's place is highly recommended. Very friendly at all times and I would respond to messages very quickly, even even recommendations from restaurants you give. Definitely if I go back to Oaxaca I would stay with her again

This apartment is fantastic! It's comfortable, well-organized, central, and very quiet. The kitchen is a good size, has all the amenities you need to prepare meals, and a water jug with an electric pump. The shower has good pressure, and plenty of hot water (although it takes a bit to warm up). It's in a gated compound, comes with its own parking and it's easy to walk to the center. My favorite thing about the apartment is that the living room window is aligned with the morning sun - it's a calming way to start the morning and enjoy the provided coffee. Olga was an attentive host, and I would certainly stay here again if I am in Oaxaca.

The place is very spacious and clean. The area is removed from the center so it is advisable to take a car and walk out of the house would be somewhat complicated. It is a great option to bring pets as its main patio is very spacious. Thank you so much for hosting us.

I enjoyed my time here. It was perfect to unplug and focus on meditation and creativity. Karmen was an excellent host and she made sure I was comfortable!
