Vacation rentals in Santa Isabel District

Excellent location, private and welcoming, private and welcoming. We were very well received, the hosts were very friendly and the space is quite complete!

Mikolaj house’s is just like the photo, is a nice place to spend time with friends and family the host and Mrs. Edina was super nice and polite. You can have access to Isla Mamey and other places there because the house is close to a port called “Puerto Lindo”. The rent price worth it.

The house is very comfortable, very spacious, has everything you need and more. It has a cute beach, the great pool, spacious patio for the pets who were happy. In general the house has a lot of good things, something that helped us a lot, was that one of the days due to things of nature there were jelly in the sea and we could not get in, but since the house has a pool we were happy all day in the pool, we saw the nearby houses without a pool the neighbors could not get into the sea and they had no pool, so that's an important plus of the house and the other excellent thing is Sugey and Alejandro, the caretakers of the house, not only kept the house clean but went out of their way to help us with my sister who had a flat tire several minutes away from the house, they were always very attentive to us. It was my birthday weekend and it was perfect! We will definitely be back!!!

The place where the accommodation is located is privileged, within a very small village. You have to stay in the house, which has its own beach because there is nothing to do or know about in the area. The owner also offers some boat rides to do with one of the caretakers. The house is very well equipped, you have to keep in mind that the space to eat, table and chairs is open and when it rains hard and with a breeze everything gets wet. Also consider that there is no WiFi (although we had a temporary solution that worked half way as Federico supports us with that order). Also only 1 of the 4 bathrooms has hot water, the 2nd did not work. But otherwise, everything is perfect, the aquatic implements are the maximum to enjoy the sea, it is a private pool, with exit to a river space between mangroves. Federico was pending and available long before check in. Very helpful and kind. Definitely nice space to share with several families

Leticia was wonderful. She offered many ways to make our stay what we wanted it to be. She was extremely helpful in responding to questions as we planned and offering suggestions with local insights. The roads to the house are rough. I highly recommend taking a vehicle with a higher ground clearance. Once you arrive, your private sanctuary has the amenities you need for a great stay. Other than sleeping, meals & a game around the big table, we didn't use the inside of the house much (which is how I like to spend my vacation). We snorkeled, we fished, we hamocked, we played croquette, we hiked in the jungle, we used the floating bar, we toured Portobelo, Turtle Cay, and Palenque. The on site staff was very helpful in every way. The listing for the house is very accurate. It was exactly what we wanted.

This place is somewhat remote by US standards, but very much worth the drive. Only a few yards separate you from the water. There was a nice steady breeze and the sound of the waves was so relaxing. You do not have many dining options nearby, so plan ahead if you plan to stay multiple days. The owner was very responsive. Overall - a beautiful place for great relaxation.
