Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Santa Cruz County

Kelley’s home exceeded expectations. Kitchen was nicely equipped. Everything was spotless. Very convenient, the host called, checked on us and could not have been more helpful or nicer. We’ll stay here again and recommend it to others.

This large, eclectic house was a fun place to hang out and relax. There isn’t much to do around there (which we knew) and that was perfect for us. We hung out and played pool and polar plunged in the pool and played games and listened to the birds and relaxed. The caretaker was helpful and available. The outdoor hot tub was turned on at our request but it did not get hot at all. It was kind of warm. It was also a surprise to be told we should not flush any toilet paper. Both toilets have bidets but that water is cold! These were fairly minor issues for us, though, and we enjoyed our stay.

This was a great place for a family to gather at Thanksgiving! We are so grateful to our host who allowed us to check in early due to a family emergency; we appreciated their flexibility and support! The place was peaceful, beautiful surroundings, and plenty of room to give the different families space to spread out in the home! The yard was fenced in all the way around, which was great for our pets we traveled with as well. Would definitely book here again!

The host went above and beyond in making us feel welcome. The environment inside and outside was very relaxing and we especially enjoyed watching the variety of wildlife, large and small, from the many view facing windows. It was a treat to see such a variety of birds up close to the home and to have an opportunity to explore for others nearby. Also, the close proximity of excellent hiking trails added to the enjoyment of the location. We look forward to a return visit to this special place.

We had a great stay. Everything as described. Sue was very responsive and informative about what was going on in the area. Provided detailed directions. Very comfortable bed and furniture. Would stay again.

We so enjoyed the privacy of the space yet the proximity to restaurants in downtown Tubac. We had amazing views of the mountains and loved the comfortable accommodations watching the sunrise every morning and enjoying a cup of coffee. Alex was extremely responsive when we reached out with questions and instructions on accessing the property were very clear.

Our group of 5 women had the best time at Alison's property. Plenty of space for sleeping, comfortable beds, a large kitchen where we were able to cook our meals, and everything was very clean. We loved the shuffleboard table and the quiet location. The location was absolutely perfect, right in the middle of all the wineries. I would absolutely recommend this property and hope to stay there again in the future.

Right in the center of Tubac, the location can't be beat. The bed was super comfy with a plush comforter and poufy pillows. There were plenty of bathroom towels, coffee, snacks and all sorts of appliances for cooking (air fryer, toaster oven, Instant Pot, microwave, Keurig). Steps from all the galleries and shops, walkable to the golf course with a fantastic restaurant, The Stables. Seating on their outdoor patio overlooks the course with grazing cows, stunning mountain views, and remarkable food in a rustic, Southwestern setting. Tubac is where time stops. George was very responsive and a gracious host. We will return.

The Secret Garden Inn is our favorite place to stay while visiting Tubac. It is within walking distance to town, coffee shop, wine tasting, art galleries, and amazing restaurants. The grounds of the Inn are very private, quiet and breathtakingly beautiful. Highly recommend!!

We have stayed here several times before, the upgraded air conditioning/heater in both rooms is a game changer! So nice to have. The larger patio area was also awesome. Enjoyed our stay as always.

Great place to stay with beautiful views very close to Tubac village and a wonderful pool and jacuzzi. Melinda is a great host and very easy to work with.
