Vacation rentals with beach access in San Rafael

We had a lovely night at Arun's place, we walked to every corner of Sausalito from the studio and had a beautiful view of moonrise at night from the room.

Super awesome view, I was however disappointed… I didn’t see the cat that was super friendly haha but in all honesty it was great and I am definitely going to be looking for this as a option next time I’m in SF.

This place is a must stay. We were considering hotels, and when we saw where the hotels were located right on Highway one, we were really thankful that we chose to stay at this Airbnb. The place is really cute, it was quiet, nice, big and comfortable bed. Overall a comfortable and peaceful stay. It’s pretty easy to get to the beach. We took the beach cruisers one night and rode down to watch the sunset. We had some friends meet us one morning to go for a run. It was a great starting point to head out toward the ocean and run along the rec trail. Their recommendations for activities and restaurants were great. There’s a little market nearby to get groceries as well, which was really nice. Would absolutely come back.

Gary's place was exactly as described. Absolutely perfect location in a great little town. Gary was a excellent host and was very accommodating and understanding with a mix-up (on my end). My only hesitation on recommending Gary's place is that I want it to be available when we come back!! :) Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again!

We had a very pleasant stay at Chase and Antoine’s place. The apartment was nicely decorated and equipped with high-quality furnishings, including comfortable bed linen and a well-stocked kitchen with essentials like coffee, spices, and cooking supplies. The bathroom also had helpful amenities, including a washer dryer, along with some thoughtful toiletries that came in handy during our stay. The hosts were very responsive and welcoming, ensuring that we had what we needed, including a crib and high chair for our baby, which was greatly appreciated. The outdoor space was charming, with a lovely garden and plenty of greenery that added to the apartment’s overall appeal. Overall, it was a really comfortable place to stay, with attention to the details that make travelling easier.

Wonderful place to stay! Nice quiet neighborhood and beautiful views of the ocean. My husband and I really enjoyed staying here and it was so nice to meet Nancy when we arrived. We really enjoyed being able to walk to MB Distillery and the marine preserve, and enjoyed stopping at one of the benches on the walk home to watch the sunset.

Amazing view of the Tómales Bay, Dillon’s beach and Point Reyes. Enjoyed fresh oysters and elephant seal watching for a perfect getaway! Toni’s place was spacious and very comfortable for 5 of us plus dogs. Would love to stay again!

Kathleen’s Haiku House was the perfect place for my fiancées birthday getaway! The views are serene and the beach is a quick walk downhill. The Haiku House was the perfect design, and really peaceful. Thank you so much for the binder with recommendations! Muir Woods is only 11 minutes away and 100% worth it. :)

Definitely recommend Nancy’s place! We had a family gathering including 3 kids under 4 years old, two sets of parents to the kids, and 2 grandparents. The house accommodated us all so nicely, and the layout made it possible to have different activities/conversations happening at the same time. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, the outdoor space lovely (we only used the hot tub, it was a little cold for outdoor relaxing), and she really has thought of everything. The toy selection for the kids was *dynamite* and the many sleeping options really great for families with particular sleepers (kids or adults). Very nicely maintained and well-cared for space. I hope we can return!

Liping was an amazing host! She was very responsive with answering questions quickly. The house is beautiful and was an easy walk down to the water. Would definitely stay here again!

It’s lovely looking from outside. Inside the room, all furniture is very decent. Our host is friendly and easy to reach out. We really enjoyed this place as our home visiting San Francisco. I would say I want to come again if possible. 5 stars.

Vivian' Place was AMAZING for our Thanksgiving Holiday!!! Vivian was so helpful and very kind, which made us feel very welcome. The house is much larger than it looks in the pictures and the bedrooms are open and roomy. Plenty of parking and great little backyard area. Location was perfect! One minute walk to a lovely little coffee and pastry shop that we visited each morning. There is also a lovely hotel right down the street where we had two guests stay who joined us for meals. Quick drive to quaint Half Moon Bay for shopping and great restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were high quality. Large kitchen island which was great for gathering and preparing meals. Also, the dining room table was so nice for meals and plenty of room for all of us or just a few of us. Very easy Check-Out which we really appreciated, having to dash to the airport to fly out of SFO. Will definitely stay at Vivian's place again!!! Great Host and Property!!!

We had a great stay at Matthew’s home! While there were a few hiccups along the way, Matthew’s attentiveness and quick response more than made up for them. He was thoughtful and proactive, which really made us feel taken care of. The house itself is cozy and welcoming, and the location is stunning. Even with a few challenges, we had a great experience and came away feeling like the host genuinely cared about making our stay as enjoyable as possible.

This was our second stay at Judy’s place in Montara and it was just as great as we remembered! We’ve had to stay at other places in the area when this one was not available and can safely say that Judy’s place is by far the best. So cosy, so clean, has everything you need, and Judy goes above and beyond to make you feel at home.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! From the moment we walked in, it was clear how much care goes into maintaining it. The cleanliness was impeccable—everything sparkled, and it felt as though we were the very first guests to stay there. On top of that, the host was amazing! They responded to every question almost instantly and were so attentive to every detail, including having a pack and play and high chair waiting for us at check-in. It’s rare to find a place that exceeds expectations like this, but this one absolutely did. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place by the water in SF this is a great option for you. There is a Safeway just in front of the apt which is super convenient and there are many parking spaces on the street if you need them.

We had a great time staying at Melanie Joy's place. The location can't be beat, and her place was clean and spacious for the two of us. Would recommend for a nice stay in peaceful in Pacifica.

Wow! What a view. Right away we had to pause and take in the amazing view of the coast. The pictures on Air B& B don't completely capture the location. We unpacked, poured a glass of wine and began relaxing. Just what we needed. The place comes with a cool tram to help shuttle your things up the hill to the front door. Being located just 15 minutes south of San Francisco, it was super convenient to visit the city and return to our little paradise in Pacifica. All in all, we enjoyed the visit and would highly recommend this location. Thanks for sharing your home Angel!

I have rented many apartments in San Francisco and this is by far the best! The steps up are quite steep but the spectacular view makes the climb worthwhile. The apartment is spacious and nicely furnished. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you will need and there is a washer and dryer. Jeff was a very responsive, friendly and helpful host. I will try to book this apartment every time I travel to San Francisco and cannot recommend it highly enough!

Kimberly's place was cozy, clean and comfortable. You were aware when the kids were active but it was not a bother, I was truly able to get some quality me time. I would go back for my special get-a-aways again! Thank you Kimberly.
