We were with don Clemente and we had a great time the place is nice and spacious, very clean and apart from the gentleman is very friendly has private beach. Excellent experience 👏

Stunning views and a quick walk to town! We didn't see better views of Lake Atitlan from any other place. It was a joy to relax in the house and take it all in! When we needed to get into town for groceries and to restaurants, we took a pleasant walk through local roads, always passing by a tuk tuk if we wanted a ride instead.

It is a nice apartment with a nice view. Silvia was always on the lookout for anything we were offered. This apartment is next to a hotel that they let you use their facilities except to lend you their kayaks. Well-equipped and clean.

A very comfortable apartment. With a spectacular view. Very tasty restaurant food and good service. Comfortable beds. We didn't use the kitchen so I can't give an opinion. Drinking water available. Functional TVs. A nearby park with hiking, butterfly, and canopy options. Clear instructions for entry and exit. Friendly and flexible service.

Ana is the best host! She was always very responsive and she helped us a lot with whichever we wanted! The apartment was beautiful with private surroundings, very clean, very well equipped kitchen! Everything was spotless! We totally recommend! Thank you Ana!

A beautiful place, the view was spectacular, the room has all you need, and the food at the restaurant is delicious, they are kind and welcoming at all times, the access to the lake is great, as a local who has stayed in several places around the lake I will say this is one of the best options you can have

If you’re thinking of booking this home for your stay at Atitlan, do it! The area is quiet and safe. This vistas are incredible, and the people are very friendly. There are several restaurants close by, but if you’re wanting to cook I would buy groceries in Pana before catching a Lancha. I highly recommend this home. We hope to return some day.

Great, quiet, and secure stay. The views are amazing of the lake and Volcanos. Few minutes by car or Tuk Tuk to Pana. Great quiet location to be right outside Pana and access to the lake.

Our stay at this incredible cabin in San Marcos, Lake Atitlán, was nothing short of magical. The two-story cabin was charming and cozy, with a stunning deck that offered breathtaking views of the lake—a true haven for relaxation and soaking in the natural beauty of the area. The hike up the mountain to reach the property, as described, was an adventure in itself, and we were well-prepared thanks to the accurate listing details. The climb was absolutely worth it, as it felt like stepping into a secluded paradise. Mary and Cris were phenomenal hosts, going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Their warm hospitality truly made this experience unforgettable. We absolutely loved our stay and cannot wait to return to this majestic gem. Highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a unique and serene getaway at Lake Atitlán!

Absolutely amazing place! You will not find a better air bnb for the price anywhere, the house design is awesome! Yes you need to be able to walk uphil, but then you will be rewarded with a stunningly located house with volcano views that are out of this world! The house is built on a giant rock overlooking the village. This means you are at the highest point in Jaibalito, this means your view over the village is unobstructed. This means your view of the beautiful lake is straight ahead, this means you can spend all day staring at a minimum of 4 volcanoes if you like! The attention to detail is all around the house…from the design, the layout and hats off to the host, Nathalie, for leaving us a giant bottle of water, snacks, coffee and even fresh flowers! Let alone the tiny detail of leaving different kinds of spare toiletries if you ever run out. You’ll be amazed how quickly you have contact with locals who help out at the house, straight from the dock you will be looked after!

Ana Regina was probably the best host we’ve ever encountered on AirBnb. We had so many questions for her and she answered every single one without getting annoyed with us. She, Santiago, and Veronica were all extremely generous and friendly and made the check-in process and the stay super welcoming. Ana Regina will provide clear instructions on how to get to the house, and the process was honestly super easy. She will explain that the house can only be accessed by boat, so all groceries/shopping needs to be done before you arrive, which is very accurate. This truly is a remote getaway that is perfect for relaxing and recharging. The house has basic spices, cooking oils, and all the basic cooking tools you need, but you would need to supply anything beyond that. Santiago pulled out the paddle boards and life vests for us so that we could explore the lake at our leisure! The many outdoor areas to hang out were perfectly furnished, and the hot tub was a nice bonus. Highly recommend!

My group & I were so happy with our stay at Casa Eggedal. The staff, the host, and the owner were all incredibly gracious and the property is a paradise. We enjoyed walking down to jump in the lake, relaxing on the terraces or by the pool, and admiring the view from our balcony. We felt like Santa Cruz and specifically this property was the best place we could have stayed on our Atitlan trip.

Overall, everything was great! The host was incredibly responsive and helpful, always available when needed. The only minor challenge was finding the location, especially at night, as it was a bit tricky to navigate. However, once we got there, the experience was smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

An excellent place to rest and disconnect from the daily routine, surrounded by an immense garden and an incredible view of the lake, Rosa is super friendly.

Unbelievable place with lots of touches to make it extra special. In a great location, so you have all the benefits of being in close proximity to San Marcos, which was a great town. A nice selection of bars and restaurants. You can easily get a cheap Tuk Tuk which takes a couple of minutes or walk which doesn’t take long at all. We would love to come back.

Definitely recommend to stay here. With the stunning views and being surrounded with nature. Andrea is super responsive, she was able to answer all of my questions. Also the staff is there to help out. She also provided with contact numbers for tuk tuk which made it really easy to get around. Thanks you for being a super host :)

Great place to stay, recommended!

We traveled with children and it was exceptional. Although it is not so close to the center of Panajachel, it is very easy and economical to move in tuktuk. The photographs fall short, the place is beautiful, safe and with all necessary amenities. The food in the restaurant is delicious, good portions and at adequate prices. The people who took care of us while we were staying were always very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be back.

It looks just like the photos. The views were amazing. Waking up to this view everyday will be missed. There are a lot of stairs to get to the property but it seems to be that way for many places in Guatemala. We enjoyed our stay overall!
