My family and I were absolutely enchanted by everything, the house the landscape the Wonder of nature, some views that are priceless, I would repeat if I can, David and his father wonderful and formal people the truth I have nothing but positive words, thank you very much for everything!!!!

Cozy house in a spectacular rural setting. We were 12 people and the house had everything you need to have a great weekend: spacious living room, numerous rooms, outdoor pool and jacuzzy (a shame it was very bad weather and we could hardly use them), wood oven, abundant utensils, etc. The beautiful setting. A lost house between mountains with very beautiful landscapes. And if that was not enough, Roko, the neighboring dog liven us up the times we were outdoors. In short, we were very comfortable and eager to repeat.

Wonderful stay, where we did everything, cultural and relaxing trip, an absolute enjoyment!! thank you very much Mercedes!!!! we will be back!!!

The house is very nicely located and equipped with everything you need. Fidel and Ana are very friendly and helpful.

Antonio is a fantastic host. Super responsive and very helpful especially with recommendations for local walks and for helping with animal health certificate requirements for returning to the UK. The house was big enough for the 11 of us and there was plenty for all of us to do for the whole week we were there. Any issues we had were resolved incredibly quickly by Antonio. Just a short walk from the house is a lovely little cafe that sells baguettes, coffee and some alcohol - very reasonably priced but please note only takes cash which caught us out on our first visit. We visited Balmaseda a couple of times which has an incredible bakery which I would very much recommend. The train station is less than 5 minutes walk but we didn’t get the train whilst we were there - it may have been quicker to get to bilbao and something to check out if you visit again. We had a great time at Ana's place, the perfect location. Everything was clean and tidy.

Beautiful rural garden refuge in the heart of the Merindades, an area of impressive natural beauty and full of lovely medieval (from 10th century on) cities and towns. Santi has put a lot of time and effort to build his private refuge and we felt grateful he shared with us. Him and his wife were fantastic hosts and full of helpful suggestions. Their dogs Jackie & Chan were affectionate and playful. The place was huge, well decorated and spotless. All amenities, modern kitchen and cabinets, great bathrooms with a jacuzzi, working wood burning stove and a huge garden with a sitting/dining area and pond with ducks. Private parking of course. Butrera is a tiny town with a lovely romanic church but just a few miles of Villarcayo with plenty of restaurants and a Carrefour supermarket. A really unique place in our extensive experiences with Airbnb's. Our one regret is that we were there only two nights but we will be back to this astonishing area before international tourism discovers it.

My friends and I had a great weekend in the country. The house is large and quiet as we wanted. We'll be back with pleasure!

we were staying at Jose's house for Christmas as a family. We left flexibility both in and out, something that is appreciated for the dates and for traveling with children. We were 7 adults with little ones and we were very comfortable. rooms for all and 4 bathrooms. The bed that touched us very comfortable. the equipped kitchen, they left tablets for the dishwasher that came great to us to avoid the beating to mop. the excellent location if you are looking for tranquility and disconnection. we had a problem with the heating and Pilar immediately came to solve it while being almost the dinner time for Christmas. super attentive. we hope to repeat next year😊

The house is even prettier than in the photos with a lot of space and a huge window in the living room overlooking the valley where you can see how the clouds stay at the bottom and has a giant patio, a good fireplace and a kitchen perfectly equipped with everything you need. All the large rooms with good beds and Nordics and with three bathrooms all very comfortable and complete in addition to beautiful ones. The air conditioning of the house is perfect with underfloor heating it is super comfortable, we go great everything. Communication with Javier very well and also shows you nearby routes and places of interest.

Everything was great with Marta, the house was as described and she was a very nice girl. The area has many things to do even though it did not accompany the time. Their dogs León and Gyda are also suns My pleasure

Everything great! The house is spacious, clean and located perfect for hiking around. In addition, we have traveled with a dog, it is appreciated to be able to make plans away from home a finde and be able to bring it.

The stay was very good. We have enjoyed the house and the attention of Esmeralda and her parents. The situation of the house allows being in the countryside just over five minutes from downtown Torrelavega. The house is in perfect condition and is very comfortable. We hope to repeat.

Everything is very good. Eduardo, seems friendly and has been attentive at all times, with good directions before arrival and also during the stay. The house is great, very welcoming, and absolutely nothing is missing. It has everything you need to go to a large group or family, even for small children (cot, bathtub, some play..). We don't use the pool, but in summer it has to be a joy. It is also very well invoked. In a short time you arrive in cars to a lot of places.

It is important to note that the house has only one full bathroom, and although the listing mentions an additional toilet, this one is located outside the house, in a small choco. This can be a detail to keep in mind depending on the needs of each guest. We would undoubtedly repeat the experience and recommend this house to those looking for a comfortable and welcoming stay.

Perfect if you have a car and want to get rid of the busy city. We had wonderful 4 days at Joana's place and can recommend it fully!

An idyllic place to rest and enjoy the most authentic Cantabria. Horses and cows free graze on nearby lands. The views from the terrace are what it takes to disconnect from the everyday hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature. Great for going with friends, as long as you're looking for tranquility. Conchi has been very attentive from the first moment. To repeat!!

A house with a lot of character with a nice garden next to a small river . Close to Liérganes and driving distance to the beaches and Santander. Marta is a welcoming and helpful host. We had a wonderful stay.

Amazing house and location. Inside it is huge, even better than the photos, we went 8 friends and we were super comfortable at all times. The fireplace heats super well and also in each room there were electric radiators that kept the temperature super well. It has all the comforts and also the location is a pass, away from other houses with stunning views and tranquility and absolute privacy. Communication with Daniel and his partner has also been easy at all times, thank you very much for everything.

It was a perfect weekend, Fermín was waiting for us upon arrival, everything was facilities. The house is beautiful and the surroundings are wonderful. We look forward to repeating. Thank you very much for everything!

A very well-kept house with a lovely garden. There was room for everyone and we could have a very quiet weekend. Host Teodoro was very nice and there was no problem getting in or leaving the house.

the house is in an unbeatable location for hiking of all kinds the environment is very nice, we felt right at home, we did not miss anything until we had a barbecue in the garden where our dog was able to run, Israel was very kind at all times giving us directions from the environment and some tips on where to eat, and to visit thank you very much we will repeat for sure
