Via‘s Place is as amazing as the pictures suggest. The views are great and it feels very private (there are sometimes a few people walking by on a closely path that connects to another house, but we didn’t really bother). The cabin is full of windows and it’s great to wake up and see the mountains, forest and sky any direction you look. The kitchen is well equipped and you can do some BBQ on the wooden deck and enjoy the stars at night. We had a great time and would totally recommend.

Marian & Opi's place is pure magic. Tucked high in the Sierra Madres with stunning views, it's more than just a place to stay, it's an entire experience. Marian was an amazing communicator, she was prompt, welcoming & informative. She answered our questions quickly and was so helpful in communicating. The property is gorgeous. We were welcomed by Opi w/ a fire in the outdoor fireplace & hot tea w/herbs from the garden. The home is made entirely of locally sourced materials and crafted exquisitely w/ open views at every turn of the mountains & valley where the cloud hang below. Opi & his son Alexander were incredibly warm & welcoming & made us feel like their home was also our home. They cooked amazing meals with everything handmade & from their garden. We had incredible salads, handmade pastas, heary breakfasts with local eggs, fresh squeezed juices etc... Our room was both spacious & cozy. There are 2 queen beds, very hot water, a warm fire to fall asleep. Absolute magic.

Beautiful cabaña in the middle of the forest. New construction with stunning wood craftsmanship. Alberto was also super helpful with checkin. Can’t recommend enough for a peaceful visit to San Mateo 🙏🏽

i can only say good things about this place! it's a cute little cabin surrounded by beautiful nature. we enjoyed every second there. the kitchen has everything you need and the fireplace makes the place so cozy at night. during the day you get greeted by the sheep of the neighbouring farm and at night you can see so many stars. we will really miss staying there!

the bathing is very nice. The host helped us with local recommendations and everything was great. the cabanas do not have utensils so it is necessary to eat out. WiFi works well inside the cabins. thank you very much

We booked her beautiful cabin over Christmas and it was so dreamy. Talk about being connected with nature and having total privacy of a big property, mountains, trees etc. we had plenty of wood to use and the wood stove was very easy to use. We even cooked in the top part baking many treats. It was awesome. Would stay again. Plenty of blankets to stay warm, we cooked most of our meals, and she had a friend who helped with check-in and anything if we ever needed. A+ experience. I’d recommend she gets better photos done of her place. She could even charge more money. It’s a special gem.

What an idyllic spot! This was one of my favorites from my 2mo of traveling. So incredibly peaceful with such warm and welcoming guests. I felt very at home here and so LOVED being close to the forest - literally steps away. It was a little colder than I planned being up in the mountains - but so worth it and sunny days made all the difference. Highly recommend this place!!!

Cousy cabin in the mountains. Great for disconnecting from everything. Carolina (the host’s sister) was extremely helpful. Very kind and prepared delicious food for us! She’s deserves all the credit for making our stay felt like home

The place is as described. It is quite, simple and spacious. If you have a car, you need to pay to park at the restaurant next door and there is a steep walk to access the cabin. San Jose del Pacifico is a short driving distance from the cabin and is very small and beautiful. Jessica is very responsible.

A serene outdoor seating area is surrounded by trees, offering views of the distant mountains. Wooden benches and tables provide a natural seating arrangement. Potted plants are arranged on a wooden structure, adding greenery. The sky is bright with fluffy clouds.

It was a pleasure to stay at cabanas yelaags. Everything was just perfekt, would definitely recommend to stay with them if you are in San Jose Del Pacífico, the view from the cabins is insane.
