The stay at Robert’s place was perfect. We will definitely book again when we need accommodations. The home is very well maintained, clean and had everything that we needed. The area was awesome with great water views and lots of wildlife. We enjoyed watching the deer walking around and eating everyday. We would definitely recommend this to anyone looking to stay in the area.

Beautiful getaway property! We stayed 3 nights and wish we would have stayed longer to take advantage of all the areas on the property. Wonderful and comfortable home. The layout was a bit hard to discern from the listing: 3 bedrooms(one master suite with bathroom, and two bedrooms in a hall with a bathroom inside the main house, one queen bedroom with kitchen and bathroom in a separate little cottage and another separate bunk house with living room, bar(no fridge or sink) with bathroom.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. Very peaceful and isolated place. Perfect place to find peace and rest. Angela was great at responding and everything I needed was there. From dishes to towels- cannot complain one bit. Great experience.

Colby was great. He was responsive right away when we needed him. The home was very clean and the beds comfy. Our family really enjoyed ourselves. I would definitely stay there again. Five stars!!!

This was a great spot for some planning meetings. It would also be awesome for a family adventure. The house is located in a comfortable gated community between Livingston and Onalaska. The location made it easy to go to the coffee shop, local farmers market and thrift store in OnAlaska as well as visit the trendy shops and restaurants in Livingston. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Our stay at Cape Royale next to Lake Livingston was wonderful! I brought my dog and loved that it had a fenced in yard for her to play. She loved walking down to the lake and around the neighborhood. The house was a short drive down to the trailheads of the Lone Star Trail in Sam Houston National Forest. The little park next to the lake was a very short stroll from the house and had picnic tables which were nice to sit and watch the sunset. We loved playing pickleball at the community tennis courts. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware, plates, bowls, etc so it was easy to bring groceries and cook all our meals. All in all we loved our stay. It was peaceful and relaxing.

Amazing view of the lake. Had fun to play air hockey and tennis with my kids.

This is the second time we stayed here. Once again, I recommend staying here. Bob is a great host.

From the moment we stepped into the lake house it felt like vacation time. We're so grateful to have found this place. The pictures were pretty accurate but everything was so much better in person. Carol was extremely responsive and the instructions were clear/so easy to follow. Our boys are 12 & 6. The age difference can make family trips tricky at times & there was absolutely NO complaints the entire wknd. There was PLENTY to do together or on their own. Plenty of fishing to be done! We rented the steel bottom paddle boat and it made our trip unforgettable! My oldest caught a bass bigger than his daddy's. Um...he will never forget it! The sunsets were magical. The Lake house was nice, clean & comfy. We played boardgames, the arcade pacman, & watched movies until we passed out. The kitchen has an airfryer which was a wonderful + to make those wings & French fries. To us nothing beats family time & this lake house exceeded our expectations. Ty so much!

Home was as described. Kitchen was fully stocked and included oil, seasonings, saran wrap, etc. Beautiful view and close to the lake. Neighbors' dogs roamed the property but all very behaved and sweet. There was a couple of minor plumbing issues but Stephen was very responsiv, friendly and corrected within the hour. Thank you Stephen for sharing your home!

Our family had the most amazing holiday weekend at Sam’s beautiful little blue house! The house was absolutely stunning, blending a modern aesthetic with a charming lake house vibe that made it feel cozy yet luxurious. It was spacious enough to comfortably host four families, and we never felt crowded. The views were absolutely amazing! The house had everything we needed and more! From a fully stocked kitchen to thoughtful extras, it was clear a lot of care went into making this home welcoming. We especially loved the variety of activities—there were games for all ages and plenty of outdoor activities to keep everyone entertained. Whether we were lounging indoors or enjoying the outdoor amenities, there was always something fun to do. This was the perfect setting for our family to relax, connect, and create wonderful memories together. I highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a special place to enjoy time with loved ones. Thank you, Sam, for an unforgettable stay!

Great place to stay, private with lots of activities to do in the place nice biking trails

We had a great time at the Lazy Villa. It is a perfect place to relax with your family. The house is very warm. The dining area with a fibre glass top is the best part of the house. Kitchen has a lot of essential utensils. Very sweet of the host, Mindy, to keep a chocolate cake ingredient jar for us to bake. The house opens up to a beautiful big backyard, perfect for hosting a small barbeque/s'mores party! The house also comes with 2 kayak which can be used in the stream of water opening to a lake. Must say, it is a little tricky to use the kayak. The stair used to enter into the kayak is not super stable and it is a little low, so need few people to lift up the kayak from the water. It is doable, but requires some effort. Overall, had a great experience at the Lazy Villa. We liked it so much that we had to revisit it haha :D

Amazing host. Very friendly and really helped out our family after hurricane beryl left our family without power for a week. We will definitely be back for an actual family vacation. ❤️

Easy to locate and not far from the lake and the stored. Very comfortable and everything you would need.

Very comfortable home. Couch had plenty of space for everyone to sit at. It rained most of the time we were there so we didn’t get to enjoy very much outside, but was able to use the grill. It was nice to have bottled water and paper towels when we got there. Good neighborhood, would definitely stay again.

The house was perfect for our family of 10! Beautiful and laid out well. The deck is just the right size for various activities: fishing, swimming, sunbathing, and the sunsets were gorgeous! We will definitely be back!

The photos don't do the place justice it is more beautiful than we expected the house was very beautiful along with its surroundings, a very quiet place we felt like at home🫶🏻. It is a beautiful place to spend it with the family, Meghan was very helpful and kind to our questions she gave us some drinks giving us a welcome, we would definitely go back to this beautiful place.

This spectacular home was perfect for our weekend getaway. We spent most of our time outdoors on the deck taking in the views of the lake and playing cards while enjoying a few cocktails. The home is very tastefully designed and stocked with everything you could possibly need. The king size bed in the master bedroom was really comfortable and allowed us to get a good night's sleep. We certainly look forward to coming back and spending more weekends here.

The lake house has great windows that give you an amazing view of the lake. It is completely stocked with all the kitchen necessities. The neighbors and surrounding residents are very friendly and are opened to any all questions gratefully. The owner is easy to reach and responds almost immediately. We would highly recommend this place as a must stay! You will not be disappointed!
