Vacation rentals with lake access in San Diego

Awesome place! A+ review from us! I was honestly a bit worried since it seemed too amazing to be real at the price and it was a relatively new listing. But it was exactly as shown and could not have been more ideal for us. Chris was also responsive and easy to work with. Even got us in for an early check in hours before the normal time on the day of check in. We will be staying here again every time we are in San Diego.

Super responsive and communicative host - we only had one minor issue with internet access and he took quick action to make sure we stayed connected. House is in a quiet neighborhood -- walking distance to a few shops and restaurants but easy to drive anywhere else. Overall a very comfortable and trouble-free stay!

Vintage Home was a great place for our family vacation! With 3 bedrooms and 2 full baths, there was ample space for four adults and two kids. We appreciated the updated kitchen and bathrooms, and well kept yard. The beds were comfortable and big dining room table fit everyone nicely. The neighborhood and surroundings were absolutely beautiful, including the nature park down the street. This served as a nice, quiet location to plan day trips to Escondido, Encinitas, and San Diego. The added security gates and Nest thermostat made us feel safe and cozy. We also appreciated the washer and dryer in unit. The host was responsive, helpful, and friendly. We would highly recommend Vintage Home for families or travelers!

This beach house is everything and more. You won’t want to leave! We came out to celebrate my birthday and just relax for the holiday with local family. We had a great time. It was a bit chilly so we didn’t get to use the backyard as much as we would’ve liked but sitting in the living room with the door open and listening to the waves was priceless. Heather was so friendly and easy to communicate with. We had everything we needed. Dolphin and surfer watching every day and we even saw a whale. We will definitely be back!!! One tip: try to have a compact car so you can park in the driveway spot. Although, we never had trouble with street parking. My hiccup was the street sweep is early am and I was scared to get a ticket! Easy to work around though and well worth it for the location.

Overall great experience! No complaints. The house was spotless and felt very clean. The hosts were so nice and responsive. Would stay again.

They were great! Very friendly and helpful with all my questions! Spacious. Clean. Neat. Backyard was wonderful and the pool was great to have and use. We will definitely be back and highly recommend. Not a far drive from downtown San Diego. We were happy with our stay!

Exceeded our expectations! If you’re questioning if you should book, just do it! This is a perfect hideaway in San Diego. The Birdhouse truly feels like a vacation home. The amenities are great (Spa, Pool, Game room, etc.) and the home is so well kept. Great decor and little additions to the home that make it a great experience. Aside from the home the hosts Ryan and Jennifer went above and beyond to make sure we felt special! They’re amazing! We were in town for a service and they made sure to acknowledge that. We were left a card with flowers and chocolates. I can’t wait to book again when I’m back in town! Thank you guys ✨

Was down for a concert at Pechanga Area and this was a great place to stay - only 6min drive from the air bnb to the concert.

It was a nice place to stay for a month. Veena was very responsive to my inquiries and questions. It was a good location and the bed was extremely comfortable. It worked great for me.

I was there primarily to escape the noise from construction at my home. The quality bed and pillows plus the quiet suited my needs perfectly. Also, the host promptly resolved an issue with the heater.

Third time staying and can honestly say that there is no Airbnb like this one. Beachfront beauty at an amazing price. There is physical no way to get a stay closer then this one on the beach !

We have stayed at dozens of AirBnB properties over the years, and I have to say that Kim is far and away the best hostess we have ever experienced. There’s not even a close second. Everything is meticulously planned and documented. Her apartment is clean and well stocked. The location is great to access all Elantra’s of San Diego. We are certainly looking forward to another trip!!

This was the perfect place to stay, especially to visit Legoland. The host was always super responsive and helpful, and can even help you get discounted tickets. We definitely would recommend to others.

It was exactly as listed. Very cozy and nice decor. The blue accents are very pretty. Very comfy bedding. Kitchen is very well stocked for cooking. Bathroom was very clean. A nice big closet to hang clothing and store your luggage. A giant TV screen. A beautiful park across the street with a nice playground for the kiddos and then the beach. We took lots of nice walks on the walkway next to the beach. We had a very nice stay. Rex always responded quickly to any questions or requests we had. He is a great host.
