Such a little slice of paradise. We didn't want to leave. Being literal steps to the lake is amazing. Hearing the waves at night and the sound of the crickets, frogs and birds was so peaceful. Not to mention the stars at night shine so bright and the view is outstanding!!! The upstairs windows that open up completely are something out of a fairytale. Waking up to the views of the volcanos were something we could certainly get used to. The patio and the surrounding garden spaces were so lovely! You just see butterflies and birds all day. Really surrounded by nature. The ammenities that are offered such as the kayaks and the fire pit made for an extra special and memorable stay. The Tuk Tuk driver, Juan was really friendly and helpful. We'd 100% recommend him to get in and out of town. David and his group of co-hosts were helpful and responsive to any of our questions! The only thing that's difficult is the hill getting up and down with our bags but we managed and it's worth it. :)

Wow, where do I begin!?! We had such an amazing stay at Jean’s place. It is a beautiful home, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jean had her staff meet us at the private dock and help us with our backpacks (there are a lot of steps and we weren’t used to the altitude, so that was a lifesaver). The views of the lake were phenomenal, and we really enjoyed drinking our morning coffee down at the lake and watching the sunrise. The terrace is great for views, lounging and birdwatching. Jean was very helpful and arranged for a driver to our next stop when the unusually high winds made traveling by boat a no-go. We will definitely be back!! Thanks for the amazing hospitality, Jean!

The host went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, with thoughtful touches that made us feel right at home. The location was perfect, offering both convenience and stunning views. This is a stunning property and Josh and his team did an incredible job with communicating and making the process of checking in/out and answering our questions so easy. We had the most magical stay at Leslie’s house in San Marcos La Laguna! The location is unbeatable—just steps from the main dock and the heart of town, with shops, restaurants, and all the local happenings within easy walking distance. It’s also a short stroll to the nature reserve, where we had the unforgettable experience of jumping off rocks into the pristine waters of Lake Atitlán. The house itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the lake and surrounding volcanoes. Every detail of the home is thoughtfully designed, creating a perfect blend of comfort and beauty. What truly made our stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality of the caretaker, Mariano, and his wife, Petrona. They prepared delicious breakfasts for us every morning and kept the house immaculate. Leslie went above and beyond to organize a cacao ceremony, which was a transformative experience, and even arranged for a fantastic cook to prepare

The place is amazing! It was the perfect size for the 4 of us. The views from the terrace are beautiful. It’s a very quiet and peaceful place. It’s a great getaway. We stayed at the Wenche house which is a the top. Please be aware that to get to the house there’s a lot of walking and climbing of stairs. We had a great time.

Maura’s house was better than we could ever have imagined. The photos barely do it justice. The views are stunning. Each bedroom has views of the lake and volcanos that are amazing. Everything looked new and clean. We would highly recommend hiring Maura’s staff for cooking. We had several meals during our stay and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The food was fantastic. We stayed over the Christmas holiday and to say that the lake lights up on Christmas Eve is an understatement. It was a magical experience to see and hear the all the towns around the lake celebrating. We will remember it forever. The Mayan sauna was a real treat. We used it several times during our stay. There are a number of steep steps up to the property from the road which are a bit tricky if you have a lot of luggage. We were lucky that Maura met us at the dock and helped arrange tuktuks to bring us to the house and the drivers carried our bags. Maura was very responsive and helpful throughout.

The place was spectacular and it’s hard to imagine a better host than Jorge. Every question I had was immediately answered and very helpful with everyone. I wish I could give him 6 stars
