Vacation rentals in Saltwell

A lovely stay! Very comfortable, clean and welcoming caravan. Well equipped - esp for children with potty, steps in bathrooms and many games which we played in the evenings. Comfortable beds and quality bedding and towels. Ample space to sit on the decking or the cosy back garden if weather is good. Karen always responded within 5 mins to any questions we had - though we didn't need to ask for anything as it was all provided. We were pleased to be in a quiet spot on the site as we were not really interested in the entertainment block - not our thing and quite busy. However, it is just a short walk to a lovely, peaceful beach with rockpools to explore after a tasty ice cream from Crosswell Ices. Only 35 mins drive to beautiful Alnwick Castle and Gardens so we had a day in each of these. NB We planned to eat in the walkable Greek restaurant but person at Drift Cafe said it had closed down "for the foreseeable future" so we drove to Widdrington Inn for a lovely meal (book first).

My wife and I entered the property to a lovely greeting pack and the Christmas tree a glow! An absolutely beautiful location with a mere 50 metre stroll and you are looking down at the sea and beaches. we would thoroughly recommend.

Lovely spot that was perfect for our family. Views from nearly every side over rolling hills (very peaceful), easy walk to town and nearby trails to hike. Wasn’t far at all to places like Kielder Forest, Hadrians Wall or even Newcastle. As we stayed over Christmas, the hosts decorated the house to really make us feel at home! Would definitely stay again.

The house was absolutely lovely and the hosts even lovelier. As I was travelling with elderly family, I reached out to them to let them know and they went above and beyond to accommodate for their needs and make our stay as comfortable as possible. Everything was more than perfect, it was a lovely getaway

Had the most amazing stay at the most perfect spot for my little doggy …….and grandson too ! Definitely want a return visit . Perfect spot for exploring the local area and everybody so friendly .

Lovely winter break in a gorgeous house, perfect location walks and the centre of town. So much space for our family group. Cosy and warm.. ideal location to explore the north east coast and beyond! We will be back!
