Vacation rentals with beach access in Salt Rock Beach

Spacious apartment with 1 master- & 2 twin bedrooms. The master and one twin have a great ocean view. Very spacious lounge & dining area, kitchen with Nespresso machine, washer & dryer. Weber BBQ on the very large patio. Just down the hill from the promenade. We had a great time, thank you Filip :) - a 1A-host!

Amazing location and awesome views right on the beach, within easy walking distance of local restaurants, modern up to date accommodation and all necessary equipment on hand. We had clear check in instructions and Travis, our host was responsive to any questions we had. Complimentary clean was really appreciated and we would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Thank you for our stay.

We stayed for seven days and had a lovely stay. The host was very helpful and the location was perfectly situated near the beach. The space itself was modern and clean however the kitchenette is quite small but was easy to work around. I would definitely recommend.

Me and my friends stayed for a weekend. The apartment was very clean and aesthetically pleasing. It is a very safe place. This was a very beautiful and lovely airbnb. It had two pools and the pool at the 4th floor had a beautiful ocean view. This place is only 8 minutes away from Oceans Mall. Thami was very helpful throughout. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

The location was fantastic, with plenty of shops, restaurants, and establishments just a stone's throw away. I felt safe throughout my stay, and the views from the apartment were breathtaking! Beautiful spot, perfect for a family holiday! Easy access to the beach, wonderful entertainment area where watching kids in the pool is easy! Could do with a few hooks for towels etc outside by the pool and outside shower, but other than that small suggestion, we loved our stay!

We have found a new gem - Sovereign Sands in Blythedale. Away from the chaos of Ballito and surrounds, it was a breath of fresh air to be a short forest-walk away from a pristine uncrowded beach. It felt like Mozambique (beautiful quiet beaches, dune forest etc), but with the added convenience of Checkers Sixty60 delivering to the Estate. Blythedale itself is a simple town with not much to do, but The Estate is a short beach walk away from Grumpy's beach bar, which was awesome (and made us think of Mozam even more with their jugs of R&R). The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, and while we wished we had a sea-view - the sounds of the ocean were awesome. The kitchen was stocked with all the usual kitchen gadgets (even a Nespresso machine) you'd need. Elsie was communicative and friendly. The Estate felt very safe & well-run. The communal pool area boasted a very large pool that the kids loved (but the adults wished that there was some comfy seating around).

Great place in walking distance to beach... We only stayed a few nights, while our home in Durban got fumigated, but will recommend the place to friends and family who visit Durban ;-) I especially liked that it was spacious and dog friendly with a big balcony

Wow! Michelle & James place is amazing. We managed to find the place and self check - in easily, thanks to the clear instructions. The kitchen is spacious and consists of all the appliances we needed. The cultery was very modern and easy to wash. We loved how stylish and clean the bedrooms were. The beds were very comfortable! And the kiddies room was a lovely extra touch! We had fun at the beach and walked to nearby food spots. We truly enjoyed our stay. Thank you so much for accomodating us. We will definitely return. 🤗

Rascals Rest is a little haven on the east coast , Salt rock is one of our favourite places to visit as a family ! The house is right on the main beach with easy access to the beach and tidal pool. The views are spectacular. The house is perfect for a large family and boasts optimal different spaces to entertain and eat. Isabel & Zanele were fabulous, professional and always there when we needed them! The house is well equipped with amenities, utensils and had everything we needed ! Will definitely go back and can recommend over & over !

Delightful top floor apartment with uninterrupted views of the Indian Ocean. Come rain or shine, the view is amazing! The aircon helped big time after hot and humid beach experiences. Bathrooms are modern and clean with Hans Grohe taps. UPS, torch and portable LED light came handy during power outage. Loved the extra touches of Cappuccino sachets with sugar and carton of milk. Gin & tonic glasses were a nice surprise and came in handy. Oh, and the Tupperware helped too! The Defy washing machine worked like a charm. Went home with clean laundry, yey! The gas braai gave some hassle, but was immediately attended to by host. Would replace Protex soaps in bathrooms with smaller glycerine soaps or liquid soap. All in all - a great experience and we’ll be back!

Our stay at Ross’s place was awesome. Great location, and accomodation was exactly what we were hoping for. Ross was a great host who was responsive and made our stay extremely pleasant. Would book his place again in a heartbeat.

Had a blast at Michelle’s place! The location is perfect! Right where you want to be! So many beaches to choose from right in front of you're doorstep. The unit had everything we needed! Parking got a bit tricky in peak time, but thats understandable. Highly recommend!!

We cannot recommend Jessica’s Airbnb enough and will look to stay there again the next time that we are in Durban. It is located directly on the promenade and a short walk from all of the key Umhlanga spots, in addition to being clean and well-decorated. Jessica herself was a great and responsive host.

We had a great stay here for a couple of days over my birthday. The location is excellent—close to everything you need. The place was spotless, tidy, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The only downside is that there’s only a bath, which isn’t ideal in the summer humidity, but the aircon made a huge difference. Entry was seamless, and the host provided clear, detailed instructions for everything we needed. Thanks for having us! 10/10 recommend.

Loren’s place was an amazing stay. Checking in was seamless. The hosts were very welcoming. Our long trip away from home with the children felt like home away from home. The place had all the amenities that you could ask for. The views are amazing! It was a great and pleasant stay. Would definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit Ballito.
