Family-friendly vacation rentals in Salt Lake County

Beds were super comfy. The house was clean. I will say the houses are VERY close together. Didn’t feel like we had any privacy for the hot tub. Which we only used once. Didn’t open the blinds much as the next door neighbors would be able to see right in. Location was nice but houses around the area are a little sketchy in my opinion. It was a quiet neighborhood. The lime green garage caught us off guard though. Wasn’t expecting that one.

Anyone that lets you use a private hot tub for your entire stay gets a 5 star in my book! Lisa was great to work with & very accommodating. The house is in a gorgeous corner of Utah County & was well equipped. The only 2 quirks about this location (which weren’t deterrents for us but good to know) is that the thermostat for the basement location is actually controlled upstairs in the main home. Lisa is very willing to adjust as needed but it’s a slight inconvenience. Plus it doesn’t have any fans in the bathrooms. Other than that, the beds were comfortable, the kitchen & laundry were convenient, the entrance is private & separate, & the hot tub was awesome! Beyond that it has pretty much the most amazing views of the mountains right there! Thank you Lisa!

This place was super comfortable. Exactly as described. Easy to get to, etc. We only stayed a couple days but we would definitely go back in the future and recommend it for anyone visiting the area.

This was a great find in our favorite neighborhood to visit. The house is beautifully renovated and fully stocked with many extras. Garrett was a fantastic host and quickly responded to all requests. We love being close to Liberty Park, shopping, and great restaurants. A little too close to Tulie Bakery which required a lot of self control! We hope to return soon!

We would stay there again. Very comfortable.

Amazing place for going skiing/snowboarding in the Cottonwood canyons! Right next to the opening to BCC and the park and ride so it’s super convenient for going to Brighton and Solitude. The place itself was clean, roomy, and perfect for our group of 5. The place was well stocked and had food goodies for us on arrival! Jennifer was incredibly accommodating and responsive before and throughout our stay. Hot tub was perfect after the long days on the mountain. Overall the place was perfect and we are already talking about coming back!

Condo had plenty of space for 6 guys on a snowboarding trip. Pool table and hot tub were great amenities. Walk from front door to the ski trail was less than 2 minutes. Cannot beat this location!

Our family of four stayed here comfortably. A clean pack n play was provided. Bathroom has a tub which made it easy for kids bath. Kitchen had all the essentials. Place is warm and comfortable. Location is central. Visiting the chicken coop in the backyard was an added bonus for our kids!

There was 9 adults that stayed at the house and there was plenty of room and we didn’t feel crowded. The house worked very well for us! Good location! I couldn’t find soap for the dishwasher. No garbage bags for the garbage can in the kitchen. We had a hard time adjusting the thermostat and the house was hot! What we liked was that our family was all together for a getaway after Christmas. We went out to dinner, shopped, and then went back to the house and played games, laughed and had a great time. I realized i made an accident in the dates i needed and they were super friendly to helping out our situation. When i need a stay for the family in the future i would definitely recommend them because they are great hosts and very understanding.

This home was perfect for our family of six. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra pillows, blankets, & towels, as well as beach towels for the hot tub. Kitchen was well stocked and convenient. Home was tastefully decorated and we felt right at home! We loved the living room areas and had a fire in the cozy fireplace twice. As we skied, the convenient location to resorts was great! Our host was an exceptional communicator, with any questions or comments we had answered promptly & brief instructions left in the house were helpful. Home was easy to access & had plenty of parking. We would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay for a couple days of skiing and visiting family. It is a very convenient location for groceries and restaurants.

This is the 3rd time we've stayed with Robert and his place is the first place I check when I'm coming to town. It's a great location and it's really nice to not be tripping all over reach other! Thank you for another great stay!

We had an amazing stay at Bruce’s place in North Salt Lake City! From the moment we arrived, Bruce was incredibly friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. His hospitality went above and beyond—he truly made us feel at home. The space itself was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location, making it easy to explore the area. But the best part of our stay was getting to know Bruce and his sweet dog, Sadie. She was such a sweet dog, making our stay even more enjoyable. Bruce isn’t just a great host—he’s someone we now consider a friend. If you’re looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay in Salt Lake City, this is it! We highly recommend it and would love to return.

Marlea's place has several accomodations. we chose the "Bat Cave", which is a easy private access basement. we were very happy to find a clean, well appointed apartment with a big convenient walk in closet. The location is a historic home in a historic neighborhood. There are several nice restaurants and cafe's in easy walking distance. We needed a pet friendly location and this definitely fit the bill.

Janet's place was amazing. Lots of room and everything was very clean. Janet answered all the questions we had promptly and made check in super easy. We would definitely stay here again, especially for a larger group.

Evan was an outstanding host. He was responsive and helpful from before I booked when I had some questions, leading up until check-in and then throughout our stay. He was able to shuffle some stuff around for us to make our stay even more comfortable. Evan gave local suggestions for some restaurants to try, and also told me early to make a spa reservation so we can use the rooftop outdoor (heated) pool and hot tub set to the backdrop of the mountains...it was unforgettable! The unit itself was perfectly situated, very close to the ski lockers and the Peruvian lift and the Tram. Also, it was as pictured and incredibly comfortable (even the sofa bed was shockingly comfortable, as those can be hit or miss), and we even enjoyed a soak in the private hot tub looking at the ski slopes at the end of a long day. Truly we loved every bit of our stay and will certainly reach out to Evan for our next trip to Snowbird!

John was great from start to check-out. Loved the place. If you stay, be sure to take advantage of the steam shower after a long day on the slopes. I hope to revisit next year.

It was great for our large group. Only downside is it’s right next to the train tracks. Bring some earplugs when sleeping and it’s perfect.

The condo was exactly as described. The location of the unit in the Westgate is great, especially if you are there to ski. The condo was very comfortable, had all necessities that we required. We didn’t need to reach out to Stacey during our stay, but she checked in with us on our first day with an informative guide and her direct contact info. We would stay here again!

The condo at Silverado lodge was very nice, clean, fully stocked and was as described in the listing. The room is close to the slopes as well as various rental companies. In addition, the information given to us by Brad and Team prior to checking in was extremely useful. Also, the guide inside the until of places to eat, how to use the public (and free) transportation was very helpful. The resort transportation was free and easy to use as well as very convenient. There was a bottle of wine awaiting us upon arrival, very nice gesture. Our family of 4 was very happy with the unit and amenities of the resort, including game room, hot tub, pool, etc. Thank you!

Fantastic stay that was perfect for a ski getaway to Solitude for our family of 4. Location was incredible, walk to slopes, restaurants and corner store, rental shop, etc…never had to drive any where! Condo was exactly as described and was stocked with anything you could possibly need. We usually ski Colorado but are sold on Utah now!

Great location at the foot of the mountains with easy driving access to Alta and Snowbird. Fantastic, responsive host. Beautiful setting. The shower is hot and has great water pressure which was wonderful after a day of skiing, but it is important to note that the two bedrooms share one bathroom and that access to the second bedroom is via that shared bathroom, so that part can be awkward. Great kitchen, great TV, and a working gas fireplace. On the whole, an excellent option for a ski crash pad at a very fair price.

Mike’s place is very close to Little Cottonwood Canyon with astonishing mountain view. You can find all the amenities you need at this place. I would definitely recommend to stay at this property.
