Places to stay in Salem

We could not have found a better place to stay while having renovations done at our own home. We packed up our gaggle of golden retrievers and one beagle and felt welcomed the moment we stepped into the house. There were treats for the dogs, blankets to put on the couch, verrrry comfortable twin-sized memory foam dog beds and endless amounts of toys for our pups to enjoy. There was also a treat station as well as lickit mats and doggie painting to keep these retrievers happy and busy. This house is so dog friendly. It’s a perfect balance of a beautiful home for the humans that is also perfect for the dogs. The furniture was comfortable, the kitchen large and well-stocked with necessities, such as paper towels, dish soap, dishes, pots and pans and that stove…. Beautiful! The bed was very comfortable and cozy. If the dogs hadn’t wanted to get up so early, we may have slept part of the day away. Having the availability to do laundry was also very helpful. We truly enjoyed our stay!

Frank went above and beyond to communicate check-in instructions, rules of the Air BnB, had all the thoughtful amenities for a slumbo! Definitely an ideal location for nicer weather with the location! Unfortunately the weather hindered the ability to fully enjoy this experience with the water so close! Would book again with better weather!!!

Joe was a great host. Very responsive. We were in for a family reunion in Newbury Port, which was a short drive away. Salisbury did not have much to offer, and old rundown beach town, but Joe's place is not too far from some great places to drive to.

Mary is intuitively brilliant at sizing up guests wants and needs. Not only is the physical space perfect in every regard, but she maintains the perfect balance of knowing which guests like to chat, and which prefer solitude. The view, the beach experience (think hermit crabs, tide pools and sea glass) were spectacular.

Great spot, plenty of room and Leslie is very responsive. We had a great stay and would definitely go back.

We really enjoyed our stay. Getting into the place was easy, the apartment was nice, and Osvaldo was super responsive and helpful.

Lori’s place was very cozy and a great screened in back porch. Perfect for morning coffee while taking in the scenery. Easily walkable to downtown and restaurants and right down the street from the beach. Nicely located for all things. We rented a car on our stay and travelled to Portland, Portsmouth NH and then close by towns to Kennebunk. All under an hours drive. We enjoyed our stay at Lori’s place.

The place is perfect!
