We stayed for one night to go to a family funeral. Beautiful, tastefully decorated home. The bedding is very comfortable and the cleaning impeccable. True to the photos on site. No surprises. A special mention for the pleasant welcome, the little touches and the special Easter decoration 🐣 Thank you also Corinne for your discretion and respect for the particular setting of our stay. We will surely return under more joyful circumstances.

This is a little bit of heaven. If you're looking for somewhere to get away from everything (but still have enough to do), somewhere quiet (but still with lots going on) and somewhere that feels like a world away from stress and fuss (but still with Angoulême 30 minutes' drive away), you've found it. The house is spacious, warm and welcoming. There's everything you need (including a bottle of red when we arrived!) and restaurants and bars are less than 5 minutes' walk away. The dock at the back of the house on the river may be the best place ever to enjoy a coffee and watch the ducks or open a bottle in the evening. The best place we've found to de-stress. Love it.

We had an amazing stay at Gordon and Caroline's! They are adorable, very nice, very attentive! Their accommodation is amazing and warm! My family and I were able to enjoy the many activities on site; such as badminton, ping pong, swimming pool, billiards! In short, I would be happy to recommend this place to you! Thanks again to them!

My time at Le Petite Chouette was utterly magical. I stayed for a month and fully recharged my soul in this peaceful, beautiful spot surrounded by nature. Ania and Mark are so kind and attentive, and the gite has everything you could possible imagine for your comfort and well-being. The kitchen has everything you might need for cooking, and my favorite part is the bed, as it was more comfortable than hotel beds with crisp fresh linens and even an electric blanket for a cozy night. I’ll never forget my peaceful evenings in front of the fire (thank you for generously supplying wood!) my long walks to chateau Lavauguyon and the village, excursions to Site de Peyrassoulat, my visits to the contemporary art and meteorite museums in Rochechouart, and my lovely chats with Ania, Mark, their sweet dogs, and the chickens! I am forever grateful for what this stay has done for my spirit! I highly recommend this place if you want deep rest!

Small friendly accommodation with all amenities in a small medieval city where it is nice to walk around. Impeccable cleanliness including in the common areas. The only downside is street parking, if only to unload luggage and groceries. Apartment directly on a busy street but still well insulated from noise with windows closed. Thanks to Elodie for hosting us and for the ease of the transaction.

We had a great weekend at Karyn's. She was extremely welcoming, the accommodation is very comfortable, very well equipped, the garden and pool are very pleasant. And it was a pleasure to meet their animals throughout the weekend! We'll keep the place in mind for new opportunities, it was really a great weekend.
