We had a great time at Sophie's place! Large for 2 people, in a very quiet place, by the river, a few minutes from Shawinigan, we were able to rest and enjoy the magnificent Parc de la Mauricie (about 30min drive from the Saint Jean des Piles entrance).

The hosts were really thoughtful and responsive, had everything necessary for us and more. From all of my airbnb experiences, I’d have to say these were the best hosts I’ve ever had. France and Carl were so lovely and kind. Carl was a great host and France was so knowledgable about the area. They greeted us with drinks and snacks, and upon our check out, they offered us coffee for the road. If you are visiting Quebec, come stay here! 💗

In the winter, I could see deer, and those deer also show how kind you are. You are a warm-hearted person who shares food with them even in the cold winter. Our overall experience was excellent. Considerate and responsive hosts, cozy lodgings, a picturesque view, and a quiet neighborhood make for a delightful getaway! We're already planning on going back.

Well-equipped kitchen, modern and functional Spa, the slow-burning fireplace worked well. Would win by having an extra shower (we were a group of 8 for a shower...): to be expected during future renovations? Missing some lights in the dining room.. These are just very light improvements that wouldn't stop us from going back! We loved the set up and our stay!

We had a wonderful stay. The host was very kind and responded quickly when we had a question. The cottage was beautiful and very clean. Amenities such as the bbq, the spa, video games and others made our stay a memorable weekend. Quiet corner to relax, it was wonderful to take a hot tub with the snowflakes falling.

We used this venue for our company’s EOS introduction, and it was fantastic. The space was well-lit, beautifully furnished, and created the perfect environment for our session.

Beautiful cottage in front of Lake Mouse, ideal for strolling and resting. The accommodation was very functional with everything it takes for several days. Plus, the space is big enough. The accommodation was clean upon arrival and pleasant!

The accommodation was really incredible! It looked even better than in the photo with the snow. The view was magnificent. Amara is really accessible, responds quickly, always very helpful, really she was perfect. The accommodation was perfectly clean, equipped and very well decorated. It had everything we needed and more: board games, a Wii, a multitude of DVDs. The surrounding area is peaceful, and there's a store and bakery a 5-minute drive away. There's lots to do in the area: ice-skating in the forest, for example, which we loved, waterfalls, national parks, etc. Our only regret: we didn't stay longer! :)

This is the fourth time I have stayed at his place this summer. I have decided to repeat because I am always very comfortable and the tranquility that there is allows me to work remotely very comfortably. It is very likely to repeat again in a few days. Thank you for everything.

Large home matches the photos. In winter, Jean-François provided us with free snowshoes during the stay and access to the cabin with the possibility of making a wood fire is very nice especially when it is -16° C. JF lives above, we hear when it walks but it didn't bother us. We had a lovely stay in the snow!
