I had a wonderful stay at this cozy, private retreat on the outskirts of town. It was the perfect place to relax and unwind. The property was peaceful and offered a great sense of privacy. One of the highlights was being able to see the Reading Pagoda beautifully lit up at night right from the window. There were also some fantastic restaurants nearby, making it easy to enjoy local cuisine. Jason and Denise were great, providing clear directions and helpful instructions on everything in the home. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to escape and enjoy a serene getaway.

We had a fantastic stay at John's cottage! This was our third stay here. The property is exactly as described in the listing, and it offered everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. The cottage was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials and a few extra touches that made my stay even more enjoyable. The location is the perfect peaceful retreat. The addition of the hot tub is plus too! John was incredibly accommodating and communicative throughout our stay. He was quick to respond to the questions I had and I really appreciated his attention to detail in ensuring that my experience was smooth and hassle-free! Looking forward to staying there again!

The house was just what was promised. Beautiful home in a beautiful setting. The amenities were a promised. The directions and information provided were very helpful. It was easy to find what we needed/wanted and the signage in the kitchen was great. The deck was lovely - even tho' there was only 1 day warm enough for us to actually use it. Thanks so much for hosting us. We loved our stay.

It was such An amazing stay. The place was just like the pictures looked, gorgeous. Matt was great and very responsive and helpful. Place was clean and homey. Would recommend to absolutely anyone.

I stayed at Dee’s place for the weekend with a couple of friends since we were attending Zenkaicon. And it was such a magnificent stay! First the house is beautiful, extremely clean, and in a nice location with friendly neighbors! I was thoroughly impressed with how nice the house felt and also how large it was! But what made the experience even better was the host’s responsiveness and friendliness. Dee was amazing in recommending great local places for us to enjoy and was always thorough and thoughtful in all her correspondence. They even got us cupcakes from a local bakery that were ready when we arrived, and they were delicious! Genuinely such a wonderful experience and will definitely be back and recommend to anyone looking to stay in the downtown Lancaster area. If you’re looking for a beautiful home, nice area with much to explore, responsive and fabulous hosts, this is the place for you! 💕 thank you so much!!!!

I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnbs and this was probably one of the best ones I have used in terms of being good for groups and offering great value for the cost. There was a group of 4 of us and this was the perfect space. Everyone could have their own bedroom, there was plenty of seating in the living room area, and we made great use of the deck and hot tub. Marilyn was very helpful with a few questions we had and she was even able to offer us flexible check in and check out times since we weren’t right up against another reservation. I would definitely stay here again!

super cute space. the bathroom was lovely, the natural lighting it got was so nice! it was very comfortable and nice. i loved how easy it was to get it and also the links and website to do some more reading about the place. looking forward to checking out other spaces in the future and when the weather is warmer to sit outside by the little pond!

Stayed here with a couple friends for a local convention. Was very cozy and comfortable and had everything we needed! I slept like a baby and loved everything about this airbnb. Would definitely recommend!
