Vacation rentals with a kayak in Saco River

Great house and location. This was my 2nd time staying here and will definitely be coming back again.

We stayed here for the Maine Pond Hockey Tournament weekend. Location was great--a few minutes off the highway. There was a lot of snow so we didn't explore outside but we enjoyed the covered deck area a little bit and the views from the house. It was my MIL's first airbnb experience and she's now sold on them instead of hotels! Everything was super clean and I felt safe having my 15 month old run around there. If you have a little one, they provide a fold out gate for the stairs that we reinforced with a chair so he couldn't move it. If you have a crawler, just be careful because there is a gap under the stairs they might be able to squeak under but with that being said we were able to block the area no problem for our little one just in case! The game room was great and so much fun. When I had a question, they responded in the app chat within moments. We highly recommend this home and hosts! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

My wife and I spent our first year anniversary in this wonderful home. We had a great time enjoying the fall colors and over looking the beautiful pond, especially in the morning as the fog broke. Within 15 minutes there were several grocery shopping options, restaurants, and breweries. Perfect balance of being in a quiet setting but having amenities nearby. Would recommend and hope to go back next autumn!

The place is clearly well taken care of with attention to detail. This would be a great place any time of year. Miriam and the home were very accommodating. I would return to this location with great peace of mind.

This is our second time staying here. The house is beautiful and so comfortable. The upstairs is great for meals and lounging by the fire. Downstairs is perfect for relaxing by the tv. Close to both alpine and Nordic ski options. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely time at this place, it’s a bit small but we’ll appointed and you can’t beat the location, right on the river! The views out the back were incredible every day. This didn’t impact us but be aware the upstairs loft area is probably better for children and a tall adult would feel pretty cramped up there. As a rather short crew my family had no problems 😂. Would definitely stay again.

Words can’t describe the view from the patio. It was a wonderful, peaceful escape from everything!

Another wonderfully relaxing stay! We really enjoyed the new screened in porch for morning coffee, late afternoon snacks, and evening games. The rainy days were just as lovely as the beautiful ones. We enjoyed the cozy gas stove on the cooler days, and we just couldn't have been more delighted by the welcome note and gift upon our arrival.

Will stay here several times throughout the year. Really enjoy it!

Amazing place, it was exactly what we needed.

Such a cute cottage on a lake!! I went in mid October and the scenery was beautiful! The home is so cozy and perfect for anyone wanting a restful, quiet getaway.

What can I say that hasn’t already been said. This place is a gem. We were the last to book for the year and Tim and Megan made sure that everything was perfect for when we got there. Upon arriving we immediately took the canoe on the lake and caught the last bits of sun. Although it rained for a good portion of our short trip there’s still something magical about having a cup of coffee on the back porch as the rain drops hit the water. 100 percent would come back. Thank you both for sharing this piece of paradise!

Perfect fall cottage so close to Portland! The cottage is so peaceful and quiet. But so close to Portland but you wouldn’t even know it. The farm is lovely and we took a walk down to the river on the property, it was so peaceful and so much land! If you are looking for a get away from a city, but want to be able to explore Portland and Kennybunks, this was the perfect spot. I don’t know if I’ve slept that good all year. Would definitely come back again. And we love Trooper the dog!

This was a wonderful vacation cabin. The cabin feels light and airy, with a large great room/kitchen combination. The bedroom is in the loft, and it has a comfortable king size bed. I have mobility problems, so I stayed on the futon in the living room rather than trying to negotiate steps at night. The futon was okay — not particularly comfortable, but serviceable. Laurel and Dan were wonderful! They stopped by the cabin twice to make sure everything was okay, and they gave us excellent advice about local hiking areas, restaurants, etc. If you are looking for a reasonably-priced cabin in Vermont’s Northeast Kingdom, we highly recommend this little gem!

This was the second time that our group had stayed at Aqeel’s chalet, and it is the perfect place for a group to get together for a weekend of skiing. The group that stayed before us had informed Aqeel that the dishwasher hadn’t been working properly and he informed us of this a week prior to our arrival which was appreciated so that we could make arrangement for feeding 10 guests in the home and managing dishes. He is very proactive and communicative and it’s very appreciated!

My family and I had a wonderful stay. We booked over Christmas. Jacki reached out to me just after I booked to see if my family celebrated Christmas and if so, would we like some decorations put up. I replied yes. When we arrived there was a decorated tree and some other decorations throughout. It was really nice. It is wonderful that they are dog friendly, they even have dog dishes there. Our Great Dane was with us. My whole family agreed that if the opportunity presents itself, we would definitely go back.

This place was amazing, better than expected! Lisa is super responsive. We enjoyed our stay and I highly recommend it.

Charming little cottage on the lake! Had a lot of fun, easy to get to town and the lake was serene and peaceful. Great place to stay!

Im not someone of many words, but it was an unbelievably cozy and wonderful experience

This place is special. The perfect remote getaway to disconnect, breathe fresh air, listen to the quiet, and reconnect with nature. Adorable boat house - woke up with a fire going looking out at a snow covered lake. Hard to not come back to reality feeling more centered and at peace after a weekend here. Can’t wait to come back.

Great cabin, location, and hosts. Our group had a great time coming back for our second trip here and would highly recommend. 5 stars all around.

Linda was absolutely phenomenal. The lengths she went to ensure my family had a great ski weekend were truly above and beyond. The lake house is roomy and exactly what we needed. More than we needed actually and a great spot. I can’t recommend the house, or Linda, enough.
