Jennifer’s place was perfect and beautiful. My friends and I stayed there for our ski trip and it was the perfect spot. About 20 minutes from Palisades, Safeway grocery was only 8 mins from the place. The house is in a nice quiet neighborhood. The house was what we expected based on the pictures and descriptions. The host was good with communication as well. I’ll definitely be looking at booking here again for our future trips

Wonderful stay! Fantastic value for the space, and totally perfect for two couples with babies. Lots to work with in the kitchen which made cooking seamless. Location is great, easy access to main areas but out of the hustle. Beautiful Truckee River walking trails a 2 min drive away. Anne was kind, helpful, and flexible as well :). This will be our go to for all business trips to Reno.

The home was just as described and the host company did a great job in setting up the home with everything you might need. The kitchen had more than expected in the cupboards and linens and all the needs were in place. Location is great, in that, you can walk to the clubhouse and amenities if you wish. Great home.

From the moment we arrived, we felt incredibly welcome. The home was impeccably clean and beautifully decorated, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The kitchen was fully equipped, and the bedrooms were comfortable and spacious. We especially appreciated the host's quick and responsive communication. The location was also perfect, just as described, gorgeous view of the Truckee River, with easy access to local restaurants and outdoor activities . We would absolutely recommend this home to anyone and would love to stay here again!

Shari’s cabin is just as pictured/described and just as reviewed by other 5 star reviews.. Nicely updated bathrooms, super clean , well equipped kitchen, fun basement with pool table, perfect entry mud room for snow gear, the easy to use gas fireplace was perfect for drying out/ warming up snow boots and gloves. Great location as you can walk to the public dock on the lake just a block away or to the little well stocked market 2 blocks away and definitely have breakfast or lunch at Donner lake kitchen which sits right behind the market! **FYI welcome book in entry states they serve lunch and dinner but actually only breakfast/lunch as they close at 2:00pm. Highly recommend for a cozy convenient fun cabin!

This stay exceeded our expectations. Spent our Christmas here and left before our pop Christmas tree arrived in the mail. Thankfully, there was a Christmas tree along with other Christmas decorations already up, all throughout the house and outside. It made our holiday special. Also, the only kitchen we’ve seen fully stocked with pots, pans, and utensils to make homemade meals. Thank you Brad for the attention to detail. There was absolutely nothing we needed during our stay. We’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful home. Our 3 year old loved all of the toys in the kids room and it was very helpful to have a guava travel crib for our 5 month old so we didn’t have to bring ours. It was snowing when we arrived but the driveway was clear and the snowplow came again later that night so it was easy to get around. Great location and would highly recommend!

This place was great for our family get together. Easy access to everything Donner Lake has to offer. 5 minutes to downtown Truckee. Enjoyed breakfast and dinner on the deck with a view of the lake. Well furnished with lots of amenities and responsive hosts. Definitely on our list of places to return to.

We had a nice stay and appreciated all the guidance on how to best heat the home since it was storming all weekend and it's always challenging to manage heat across three levels. Our only issue was that part of our reason for booking was a two car garage (since we were expecting lots of snow) and only one car can park in the garage.

This is not one of those stays that was obviously set up as a short-term rental. Instead of flat-pack furniture, bland art and instructions posted all over the place, you walk into a real, welcoming home. My kids loved the custom design of the house, especially the loft areas. I would definitely suggest it to anyone visiting the area.

We loved Rob's place!! Lots of space, really clean, and the hot tub was awesome! We appreciated the fully stocked kitchen & washer /dryer too. The neighborhood is super nice and very quiet. You can walk across the street to a great little market. We would definitely recommend this spot!

Cozy crash pads for the whole crew, a backyard begging for BBQs, and a dining table that somehow squeezed in seven wild kids and six exhausted-but-thriving adults. The house? Spacious enough to hide from the madness when needed. If there was a hiccup—it was the tragic absence of laundry detergent. But hey, there’s a Chevron nearby for all your last-minute needs. With Sugar Bowl and a few other ski resorts just minutes away, hitting the slopes was easy peasy, snowy breezy. Bonus? The backyard’s surprise sledding hill—because nothing beats watching the kids wipe out with pure joy. Meanwhile, the game room and upper loft kept the little ones entertained while the adults fully embraced the R&R life in the hot tub. Now that’s a vacation done right.

We were in town for a golf tournament and this house was in a great location right on the course. The house was exactly as depicted in the photos and exceeded our expectations. The host was extremely responsive and we wouldn’t hesitate to book this house again next year.
