House vacation rentals in Rye

We stayed at Melibee House with my husband, two young kids, and in-laws. The location was lovely: close enough to decent restaurants and beaches, but in a peaceful and safe location. The heated pool got a workout by my two young kiddos all weekend, and we appreciated being able to swim and play in our own private space. My mother-in-law is not able to walk far, or be outside for long periods of time, so this was the perfect summer getaway for her to be with her grandkids while also letting them be active and outdoors! We would love to come back to Melibee House again.

Thank you for a very tranquil , clean spacious holiday house to chill in immediately, Bed linen and an abundance of towels were divine and lovely surprise as sometimes this is often over looked. The pool is large and deep with a shallow end and the perfect temperature, we had a lot of use out of this and is lit up at night which is great to view in in the evening. kitchen is well appointed for feeding many hungry mouths at once, and ice machine in the fridge is good , and we had issue with the main tv which was sorted out immediately with a new one being delivered and installed , thank you Liza,. the two zones and large bed rooms in the house work really well for 2 groups or families with kids .

In addition to it being a stunning property inside and the surrounding grounds of the property, every aspect of the house was well thought out including the cleanliness- kudos to the cleaners. Good facilities, kitchen was well stocked with essentials, perfect layout for our group with plenty of space to spread out and also gather. Can’t fault the place! Our host Tamara was amazing in helping us prepare for our stay and making it a memorable one. We only wished we had stayed longer! We will absolutely be staying here again.

We stayed at Ivys place for 24 days and it was perfect. As a family with 2 young kids, having a pool was ideal. It was very clean inside and welcoming. Ivy was very accomdating as we came to Australia for our best friends wedding, and allowed the groom to stay the night before the wedding. Ivy was very responsive. The house is in a lovely area and the kids were gutted when we had to leave. Would definately stay again and highly recommend x

We loved our stay at Peter’s place. We have quite a large family so having the 5 bedrooms was really good. The kids loved the pool and ample grassed areas to play. The outdoor entertaining space was large and great for lazy summer afternoons or a bbq dinner. Kids loved the second lounge they could go hide in and the adults did too! Great house for a great holiday.

Stayed with 3 of my girlfriends and we would definitely return. Walking distance to the shops and beach and in a peaceful street. The house was cosy and perfect for 4 guests. We enjoyed our time here and would recommend to anyone else looking in Rosebud ☺️

Beautiful home in the perfect location right on the beach.

A characterful house with lots of amenities which are great for families with kids. My toddler had a great time in the yard and inside the house exploring toys. The beach is very close to the house and the outdoor shower with hot water is super convenient.

We had a lovely one night stay at Sam's place. Sam is an exceptional host who was very communicative and easy to deal with. We were advised we could check in a little earlier without us even asking. When our plans changed on short notice, Sam was happy to help with a later check out offered. We also left behind some belongings and Sam immediately contacted us when it was noticed by the cleaner. The house is well set up with everything you need for a long or short stay. It is a very peaceful neighbourhood that is close to the centre of Rye. Beds were really comfortable as well. Thanks Sam!

We had a great time, house perfect for families and friends. Kids enjoyed the big backyard, played cricket and basketball, as well as all the fun things to do inside like pool and table tennis. The location was perfect, we could walk to the main street, with the shops and beach close by. Would stay again!

What a fantastic house and location! The children absolutely loved the backyard, especially the hammock, and enjoyed taking long baths in the beautiful bathroom. The lounge area was incredibly comfortable, and the bedrooms were super clean and cosy. The kitchen was fully equipped with all the amenities you could need, making it a joy to cook. The location was perfect, with so many great beaches just a short drive away. Highly recommend for a relaxing and family-friendly getaway.

We absolutely loved our stay at Cathy's place - it's very cosy and welcoming, and perfect retreat and place to base yourself in Rye.

Kostas was so helpful over the phn, his place was amazingly spacious. House was very clean and had everything we needed and close walk to the beach. I will definitely book this place again especially because of the great service we received.

This place actually looks even better than the photos! Spotlessly clean and exactly as described. All amenities at your disposal, fabulous kitchen with everything you could possibly need. Super dog friendly and a lovely touch having dog treats on arrival. The hosts are incredibly easy to deal with and very responsive. Will absolutely stay here again and can highly recommend to others.

We loved our stay - such a beautiful home with modern amenities and loved being so close to the water where we wandered down several times. A lovely quiet area which was an added bonus! Thanks for having us - would absolutely recommend.

We loved our stay at Inga's place. She went over and above for us (and our fur baby)! A very thoughtful and friendly host, and the place was just wonderful. We would definitely recommend Inga's place and would totally visit again!

Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us Suzie, we had a great time even though the weather wasn't the best for swimming. The house was warm and welcoming with plenty of space to read, relax and do puzzles. The kitchen was fabulously equipped and having the coffee machine was brilliant. The hot tub was spotlessly clean and even though it was chilly and windy out it was great to relax in the tub and be surrounded by tea trees.

What an amazing house & so perfect for a getaway we didn’t want to leave. Had everything & bonus was the ice machine & slow cooker. Living space spacious and lots of fun things. Downstairs room was spacious and was perfect for our 4 teens Dogs loved it, very secure View just lovely and outdoor space so peaceful Beds comfy, lots of linen. Highly recommended, Rod was fabulous & we will stay again. Total 8 of us, 2 families. Thank you Rod

Clean, comfortable and very relaxing. We enjoyed the fire pit and its peaceful surroundings. The gym, pool + table tennis table and darts were a highlight with the children and kept them entertained for hours. Will definitely book again. Highlight for us was the backyard - especially in the morning - birds chirping, butterflies and dragonflies everywhere it was so calming and beautiful. Exactly what we needed. Full of amenities and well maintained. Attention to detail - well worth the visit. The host Lucy was lovely and responds to any issues promptly. 10/10 for us. Loved every minute.

A wonderful place to stay, Cassie and Andy have a lovely home that is very child friendly with all the amenities you need for a few nights away. Great location close to the beach, the local general store did great coffee and we really enjoyed our stay.
